This ranks as one of the nicest modded RS5s I've seen to date. Quick question, to what extent does the spoiler affect the rear view in either position?
It takes up a fair when raised up, but it doesn't really bother me. I got the rear spoiler from www.race.haus/

Seriously considering this for my recently bought RS5, i like ome other commenters am a fan of the 'muscle car' sound rather than a very raspy sound from other exhausts like the capristo. Sounds like this could be the best 'all rounder' in terms of that, volume, low rev muscle car growl with higher pitch super car screams at higher revs

WOW! What a nice car! I have had my 2015 RS5 for a few months and am deciding on exhausts. This exhaust is so beautiful sounding and the car looks amazing!!! I just got in touch with GTHAUS and they said they would ship it in 10 days. I am so close to pulling the trigger. My only concern is can you make it quieter using comfort mode? or Auto? or not in Sport? I love the sound but I am afraid I would need to take it off the car at the sound of the video. Thanks in advance.
It works along side the open & close valve system you already have with the sport exhaust
@@justinmcneill787 Yes, thanks, I understand now. I ended up ordering the JHM downpipe and crossover x- pipe. I am deciding now on what I would want past the x pipe. GT Haus is still on the table. I found someone on CZcams that has a RS5 with JHM downpipe(s) an ECS resonator delete section, and a different axle back system for the muffler section. So he has two x pipes in the system. Crazy! Lots of different sound options. Merry Christmas.
I'm going to get mine delivered for my Rs5 in the next two weeks, but sadly my car has to go in for mechatronic failure.
@@justinmcneill787 You must have a 2013/4 then, right? The Mechatronic failure was common on those years. Audi fixed it for the final year, 2015. I hear you. I just had a engine coolant sensor failure (warranty picked it up) right after I had to replace the front rotors/pads, and the xenon headlights (not cheap). Did you purchases the whole system from JHM? Mine is sitting in the other room; downpipes and crossover pipe. I cannot wait to get it on the car.
I purchased the entire system from Gthaus except for the open & closed Valve remote. I do have a 2013 because I wanted all the options except cooled seats. It does completely suck that the unit failed & audi quoted me $4,800 to replace it.
Sounds amazing... What do you think of doing the exhaust alone without the resonators. I am not looking for a super loud set up.

Have you change the headers? Was looking at the JHM kit, would you think for gains the JHM headers paired with this exhaust would sound good?
I plan on purchasing one of these in the next 4 to 6 months. And from the research I've done the last month or so, JHM is the way to go for all upgrades. Headers, full exhaust, lightweight flywheel & crank pulley, etc.

What else is dont to the car besides exhaust as far as performance goes?

To be honest, removal of resonator from stock exhaust sounds the same.

Richard laporte The RS5 is an excellent choice. The driving feel is unlike any other car IMO. Especially when modded! I’m not exactly sure how much hp it puts out. The unofficial “butt dyno” says around 20-25hp gains. As it’s a lot more responsive. HOWEVER, that said I will be dyno’ing the car this upcoming spring. I’ll definitely be making a video to share my results! I got the balance it carbon fiber rear diffuser from www.race.haus/

Poohwe Campbell I’ve seen the videos and heard a few in person. So I’d have to respectfully disagree with you on that. It’s not anywhere close to this setup. I’ve heard every aftermarket setup available for this car in-person prior to making my decision. Nothing comes close to the sound the full GTHAUS setup creates. I do however think the Miltek exhaust for the C7 S6/B8.5 S4’s is awesome.
I will potentially be buying an rs5 within the month! I've been researching different exhaust setups for the car. I'm looking for the loudest and highest pitched setup I can get. I don't really care for that deep muscle car sound, but prefer a scream/high pitch engine note. What would you recommend? Is GThaus the winner over all else? I haven't heard any exhausts in person =[
@@rs_ix - if someone wanted the deepest exhaust note possible for this car, which would you recommend after hearing so many systems? I like the big displacement V8 sound and can't listen to high-pitched exhaust videos for the RS5 like Capristo. I really like the Meisterschaft exhaust note for this car and the e92 M3.
Svtcobra60 Awesome! The RS5 is a great choice. The best exhaust IMO is the GTHAUS setup with GTHAUS downpipes. It’s great if you want something loud, but also great if you need to keep things a bit civilized at certain times with the valves on. It definitely has an exotic tone to it at the higher RPMs(above 4k). It screams as it reaches redline. And it has a bit of a German muscle sound under 4k and with regular driving/shifting.
James Aron if you’re looking for a deep tone similar sound to the E9x GTHAUS GT2 setup, this one is similar. But of course it comes with its own “soundtrack” with the 4.2 V8 in the RS5. It has a high pitched/exotic sound at redline. However under 4K rpm/regular driving, it sounds more German muscle than exotic. And if you want purely German muscle sound, I’d recommend the AWE Track or HMS.
