I built this pedalboard for approximately $12 not including the velcro. It took about 30 minutes to build. Parts list: 1x3x24 3pc 1x3x10 2pc 1x3x25.5 1pc 1x2x10 2pc 1x2x2.5 2pc 1.5" wood screws 16pc
Finally, a straight up, bare bones DIY pedalboard. Lots of other people turning this into a wood working master piece. I knew there was a way to make a solid one with a simple, generic design. Thank you
From experience building my own pedal board I have to say its a lot cheaper and fun building your own then buying one. There over priced in my opinion.
Now that's what I call a DIY pedalboard. No need for a tablesaw, router, jigsaw, sanding machine, soldering iron, degree in electronics or free pass to the Large Hadron Collider lab. Just some softwood, a saw, and a drill. Love it.
Thank you for this design. It worked like a dream. I only spent ten bucks on wood. So, if you’re reading this, try this build! Really worth it compared to the $100+ pre-made ones and it only took a half hour.
Built it last night. $38 total including 2 boxes of Velcro. I'll admit it took me a tad longer than 30 minutes, but it came together great. I added a carrying handle to the rear board and will add an egress hole and whatever else is needed to keep the power cord secured once I play with it some more. Truly excellent and helpful video, thanks!!!

Ikea should just sell pedal boards..

30 minutes?? That only took you 2 minutes and 39 seconds!
We moved out of the midwest ten years ago. Still miss Menards.
I've never felt "however... I live in the sticks.." so hard in my life lmao
Scott the type of guy to saw indoors
as soon as you said "menards" i could tell you're in the midwest
I just made this and I suck at carpentry and stuff. Works perfect! Thanks.

Good video. Seen other “diy” pedal board videos where you need a full carpenter workshop and knowledge to make it. This is more in the spirit of DIY.
Seven years later and this is still the best easy board design for people like me who just have basic tools instead of a workshop. Thanks!
When he busted out the trash bag, the wife must of came home.
I can't believe how easy this was to assemble!! Thank you so much for creating and posting this video - DIY musicians, this is the way to go!
After lots of research this does appear to be a simple design that will get the job done. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much.

I made one like you suggested and it came out great! This is the first thing I have ever built. Thanks SO MUCH!!
