I use angled keyboard ONLY because it places Ctrl right below my pinky. If it's perpendicular, I have to bend my pinky the entire time I'm playing. It's a small detail that seems trivial, but angled just feels natural.

Gaming on a crt might feel better because of what you heard about zero lag but the time it takes for you to adapt to component output is guaranteed to be longer than using a gaming monitor unless you have a really bad monitor
