At the far end of the island is the old fort. There’s a park there and Mobile Bay empties into the gulf. Walk that beach, there are great spots to fish.
Finally there is a space available in the storage lot to pull this beast out of the water so I can do all of the nasty grinding and sanding without getting it in the lake. This was the only reason for the delay. New boat video any day now!
I love fishing. But I absolutely hate people who shore fish with people swimming around near by. No one wants to worry about being bitten by a shark while enjoying the beach. Every time I see them I’m like well I guess I won’t be enjoying the beach today because some douche bag wants to fish.
If you're worried about being bitten by a shark, then the beach definitely isn't the place for you to be swimming. People fishing or not, I can guarantee you there is a shark within 50 yards of you anytime you get in the water at the beach

Find potholes and irregularities in the surf. When pompano are on the move they run the entire coast.
