I liked the 2k14 pin system with holding X to fill up the bar. And the longer the match went on the harder it was to kick out. Another great thing about the game was that you could set the match pacing if you wanted a Quick, Normal, or Epic match, which would make the game take longer to build your finisher. It also had the rest hold animations to simulate chain wrestling ao you could kind of simulate the opening of a match.
Thats why 2k14 was was my favorite in the 2k series

good analysis and valid criticism in my opinion! New wrestlers is definitely nice but it will lose appeal very quickly unless patches and game types are included.

I'm definitely happy that this game is still getting more support hopefully and hopefully a season 2 of DLC with additional match types I'm hoping I still don't understand how this game was in development for a couple of years at least how do you not come up with a roadmap during that time so that way when fans ask is they're going to be more content you could just show them the roadmap especially if you were planning on supporting this game for years after the release
They should have a road map but I doubt they'll ever have one
New match types will be cool, but an easier feature to implement is a tournament mode. Wrestling games are fighting games, and all fighting games are just glorified tournaments. I was actually surprised that this arcade style wrestling game didn't include an arcade style tournament. It could be just like any Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, etc. game that you've ever played. Except, if you beat the final boss in your tournament, you can get a belt. And I would set up the tournament like the Mortal Kombat towers, with the easier towers leading to the mid card titles, and the harder tower leading to the top card, world championship title.

Ultra Pro Wrestling will put the final nail in the coffin of Fight Forever. It's a upcoming indie game, looks like it has a voiced story mode has the retro N64 wrestling game like gameplay that Fight Forever has. From the trailer alone it looks like it'll have more features than Fight Forever, like the option of six sided rings and even MMA Octagons.
The six sided ring option is awesome!
A Universe type mode of some kind would do wonders for this game. They keep adding wrestlers, but there’s nothing to do with them. Aimless exhibition? Replay the same RTE that they claim has different endings, but really doesn’t? *LA Knight voice* Nah-Nah!
A universe mode or story designer would be a great addition to the game.

Based on what zyddie told us over a week ago I still don't believe any more content is coming. He said hookhausen was the final dlc and it was up to yukes to decide if they would continue.
I dont think enough people play this game anymore for yukes or thq to even consider throwing more time and money at it, especially when both companies have other projects in the works that they would rather throw resources at.
People dont play the game anymore of Kenny's idiotic ideas. I believe more content is coming because the game is still being worked on every day. I believe zyddie said yukes are working on a another patch too so I have my fingers crossed.
@@LoadedIsABeast yeah I know they're still working on it, but they're only working through the list of reported bugs to fix. They're patching the game up and then packing up their things.
@LoadedIsABeast The developers just also said that they aren't coming out with a Fight Forever 2 they are just going to keep adding content for this game year after year until the Playstation 6 and new Xbox comes out then they might make a Fight Forever 2 for those systems im guessing

The developers haven't said anything to anyone in a long while. They don't even talk to zyddie anymore and he's their community manager.
Well if the next patch doesn't fix any of the major issues, then this game is done.
They say the announcement aew commercial when the patch will comes out. At the end of the month that's bad marking . 😅
I really wanted to buy this game the moment it was released. But due to a lot of reviews from people who own it, it just doesn’t seem worth the $60 value for me. Not yet at least. So I really hope this turns into a Battlefront 2 situation and the game does a complete 180. I’m tired of having to download AEW characters in 2k23 lol
Yeah I have some aew stars in wwe 2k23 as well but I hope fight forever makes a comeback!
the game that was said to be updated for years with seasonal additional content died merely two weeks after arrival
It should have been pushed another 6 months
All im asking from them is add more matches longer entrances add the rest of the house of black updated arenas and updated create a wrestler parts remove the mini games
One thing i disagree with is longer matches keep that with the 2k games do take caws out of ranked
Add punishments for people who cheat or quit and fix the game with everything that is necessary
Maybe update road to elite and stadium stampede and remove mini games
They are also missing Commentator Announce Tables.

I want these things like fire pro wrestling world or no mercy but what we are asking for is to redo the whole system, Zhadi im sure i misspelled his name said those pin system wants is re-doing the foundation . Wanting them adding 2 rings for blood an guts like the world is asking for HOW.... we don't even have the updated show sets, Dynamite etc are not even current, the games extremely fun but we cried and they released a unfinished game an we stuck with it..... I only see them charging $20 for 3 wrestlers an a handicap/gauntlet match which is locked behind RTE!!

They might monthly updates but thats about it
For me i need a universe or gm mode to make it repayable. I'm still playing 2k23 and wrestling revolution. This game needs a better creative suite to.

the game at its very base is rotten and dlc wont help anything, sorry but the best they can do is a new game from the ground up....
