It's all good, my only issue would be his "Maybe we can get you to play for the right team one day" comment. It was unprofessional and inappropriate. Besides that, this idea that WWE is "The right team", the tribalism of it all is pathetic and what's wrong with pro wrestling these days.
Love It CVVCLIPS bro.
Real recognizes real.
Hahahahahaha everything about what you know about them is fake. But ok bud
The realest thing about Cena is his mandarin
He literally sounds like he's reading from a script all the time.
@@xddddddddddd4646 thats his best asset. saying the right things.

I met MJF in the wilds of Long Island once. Dude is a class act and very friendly. Took the time to have a word or two.
Mjf is a star anyway but also a business man and he knew what meeting john cena could mean down the road he knows how much influence john has his not stupid its all about good impressions
MJF is one smart dude. I don't think anyone would argue that he has to have an above average IQ.
Did mjf do college 😊@@Bowling_Dude
@@skullking2790 college is not a measure of intellegance.
0:28 Cena had that dawg in em 😂
Cena and HHH are the only ones MJF has broken character for. In every interview outside of wrestling he's still a villainous dick.😅 but whenever he's been asked about who's the nicest guy he's ever met or who he looks up to he says Cena and HHH. I liked them taking a picture together.
Also CM Punk

It's crazy how Cena looks & talks like Vince McMahon nowadays
Yeah even the rasp in the voice is there
Wonder if he poops on people too.
This is always how he was though. John Cena is the mask.

Having a legend like John wanting you to join WWE have to be an honor. If John actually believe in you, there is no doubt in my mind that WWE would also believe in you. Wouldn't even suprise me if it took him under 1 year to become THE champ at Raw or Smackdown.
MJF in WWE would go crazy lol he’s holding his own in the ring and out on the mic he would be a stud!! He’s killing now. Still gonna watch both promotions and some TNA
MJF is the most WWE character I've ever seen that wasn't actually in WWE. He will get there eventually for sure.
John in his Three Piece Corporate Suit looks more like Vince's Son than Shane! Not a knock or a wise ass comment...it just struck me in the resemblance factor of the moment!
That definitely looks like a vince choice

it's fascinating how to hear that even when Cena was younger he was guilty of the tribalism.
i think we all are when we are young & working for a company that we feel gave us our big break or "made" us -- our first real job so to speak
i think the right word is brainwashed by Vince.
@@jamesarnold7253 Never said (nor did I mean) it was literally his first job ever in life -- and I was merely making a point that when younger, we can all engage in a bit of competetive tribalism. Not saying that it has to go to the extreme of not associating with someone who works for a rival. Obviously, WWE did in fact give him his first big break in entertainment, & obviously working for a company like WWE isn't the same as say working for a restaurant or a bank & having friends who work at another restaurant or bank
@@jamesarnold7253 I said "YOUNGER".....In the whole scheme of things (& maybe from one's own POV), early 30s isn't that young -- BUT it's all relative to when a person feels that they got their first "real job" or their first "big break" -- it doesn't have to be 18, it's not necessarily at 21 right out of collge. Again, my original point was that a person is going to feel some level of loyalty & dedication to the company that gave them a shot and/or "made" them at that moment. For example, when I got my first "real" job in the industry that I thought would be my whole future (not directly out of college but a few years later), I felt a certain level of tribalism there & felt I had made it -- So perhaps I became a bit "brainwashed" to a certain degree, ie always talking up my company & always selling it to the max -- & sure I felt like I owed them something at that time. Obviously it was never to the extreme of not talking to or associating with the competition, but my original point was about those feelings in general, not about Cena specifically. And I already acknowledged that the degree of tribalism that takes place in the pro wrestling realm doesn't exist across the board -- I think you are going a little out there mentioning DC & Marvel actors, that's apples & oranges. My entire point was that we can ALL engage in some degree of tribalism -- the pro wrestling world is it's own animal, so things that occur in the regualr corporate world are on a different level all it's own, so when you are part of that world, the expectations are a little different to say the least. I don't know that Cena was "brainwashed by Vince McMahon", but obviously he felt that level of intense loyalty at that point in time, young, old, or otherwise.
@@jamesarnold7253 I said "YOUNGER"....We were ALL YOUNGER at some point in life -- Whether or not 30 is considered young is all relative as to when one started "adulting" & got that first "real job" or got what they would consider their first "big break" int life. I was working in restaurants while in college & didn't get a so-called "real job" in what I thought would be my entire working future until several years after I graduated -- Not 18, no longer 21, not yet 30, but still relatively young. And when I got that first break & got my foot in the door of that industry where I though my entire career would be, I certainly felt a sense of loyalty to that company & certainly engaged in some playful competitive tribalism because I felt like i did owe them something. And you even mention that there is in fact some tribalism at the management level in your industry. And that was the point I was trying to make. WWE may be a publicly traded company like many others & part of a larger corporation like many others, but the culture is it's own animal -- So any type of rivalry or competitiion or tribalism is on an entirely different level...I don't think you can off-handedly compare it to other sports leagues or to regular entertainment studios -- and the DC/Marvel actor comparison is kind of apples to oranges, but I get your point. And I don't know that Vince McMahon "brainwashed" Cena, again I think it was a combination of that culture, tha nature of rivalry in pro wrestling, & being YOUNGER, just getting that big break I mentioned earlier...
MJF WILL be in WWE. Just not right now.
He's still young. He's still gonna do his thing in AEW. But I'd say in the next 5 years, he will make that jump to WWE.
The "right team" lol
John Cena way of speaking outside WWE is too formal man.
His media training is overkill
That’s just how he speaks when he’s not in character, ever watched Total Divas😂
Well honestly, what did you expect... He's from West Newbury, Massachusetts for Pete's sake... 🤣
His prototype gimmick was spot on. He is so robotic in his public appearances, then goes over the top in wrestling and almost every film role. But yah he's like Data from Star Trek in interviews
It's nice that Cena actually answered the question.
Unlike Undertaker, who will just tell you, that he's going to die with that information.

MJF deserves the biggest platform available to him and that’s what John Cena wants from him, he is the Roddy Piper to Cody Rhodes’ Hulk Hogan… that is the money feud for the next generation, and both of them elevated themselves in AEW the same way Hogan and Piper elevated themselves in AWA
Bro straight up is NBA tampering lmaoo.
I need NEED a Duke Nukem movie with Cena
John Cena is truly one of all time greats, he clearly recognized the potential star power MJF has, would love to see them cross paths someday in WWE.
Cena wanting to work with MJF is fantastic
Company should be company, wrestler should be wrestler, it doesn't matter what promotion you're in, if someone is a great performer they deserve respect and acknowledgement from anyone across the entire industry who likes your work.
I miss you Mr.John Cena.
MJF is probably the most popular non WWE guy in the WWE that I have ever seen in my life almost everybody in that company knows him and MJF even acknowledges WWE a lot on AEW tv
MJF is built to be a Megastar heel main eventing WrestleMania. He knows how to be a pro and I hope he gets to show his abilities in front of the most eyeballs one day
Can you imagine MJF debuting in WWE and he cit the most ruthless Vince promo lol
WWE is too PG they wouldn’t let him do that
@@818Kira netflix will let them do stuff without censoring.
@@iramahmed634 won’t believe it until I see it
Theyre too brand and family friendly to risk that since a lot of their presentation and wrestlers are catered to that PG crowd they’ve spent the last 15 years building
I knew how cool Cena was when he posted about Kenny Omega
Damn the bass in this video is booming
Can’t wait to see Cena tag w MJF in AEW. Gonna be Magic!!!
Mjf in WWE would be a sight to see. Imagine the possibilities. Mjf vs Rollins, vs Rhodes, vs miz, vs McIntyre, vs la knight, maybe even vs reigns. He would mic drop every one of those guys.
How abt young guy vs youung guy .... Mjf vs theory
@@Akshay_kotian honestly would love that. Theory needs to be back on top with the push. He was doing so good when he was champ.
Mjf versus waller, breaker, or melo

It’s a crazy world just to hear Cena say AEW 🫡😱
Cena sounds like he's still dealing with them Spikes 😂
Brings me back to when mjf told cm punk you might as well be preaching Hustle loyalty and respect 😂😂 I would love to see MJF in the WWE one day but I feel like his character don't belong in a PG world like that
John cena heel turn would be crazy
For those of you who don’t speak business jargon I would be happy to translate for you this is the equivalent of the undertaker shaking John Cena’s hand after his debut match
Mjf will be in wwe after mania
Funny how ppl keep comparing Vince and Cena forgetting Vince once called Cena a “roided up bodybuilder” when he first saw him and wanted to fire him after his ruthless aggression run with Chris Jericho but was saved by Stephanie after she heard him rap with Rikishi and Rey Mysterio in the back of the tour bus
My interpretation of the photo with iron claw title in background: Cena being wwe has put mjf's hand in the iron claw due to him being from other company and mjf is wincing in pain.
I swear, is it just me or does he look and sound more like Vince McMahon every day? Not the bad stuff, just the hair, the suits even looks kind of like younger Vince in the face. He could play Vince in the movie that'll come out some day...
Ngl MJF vs Cena would be 🔥
"Maybe we get you to olay for the right team one day"
I closed my eyes and thought this was Vince 😂
I love MJF. Need him back on TV
Said it here first. MJF Vs Cena Mania 40. Ss and then tear me apart if I get it wrong
so Cena basically says if Vince would be around, he wouldnt even think about to get close to MJF
Competition is good says Cena, he is right
Dude basically had a stroke saying AEW.
Competition is IMPAIRATIVE
Imo wwe just didnt seem as hungry as it did when wcw was around
Cena looks like Lex Luger does today
Mjf would be good in old wwe. New wwe no. Hopefully things change but aew rn is perfect for him
I truly believe if he gives a good impression to cena then his wwe debut is not far maybe a year or two stuck in that indy show. After that he will surely be main eventing wrestle mania till he retires.
Did cena just admit to contract tampering? :D
🤣 could you imagine if they had rules like the other professional sports 😂
Cena should NOT have said that. But cena isn’t a talent scout or manager so doubt there’s a case. Cena is not signing talent
No, cause he's not an executive.
Duh.
John contract tampering lol
MJF breaks character for Cena but not his fans, speaks volumes
Cena to AEW confirmed?!?
Cena becoming like vince
MJF doesnt need to go to WWE to be a star, he already is one
MJF needs more time to shine outside WWE to really get him to shine, once in WWE, he'll just be another prodigy act WWE is doing with carmelo hayes, bronn, theory, who's still only showing what they can do
If MJF gets bigger, he can be like an AJ styles introduction in the main event and big events, if he rushes, he'll just be Jade Cargil push of just being there
He deserves to wrestle for more than two rows of fans
@@joel_13_it's about how many passionate pro-wrestling fans you can get in one place, not about filling the place up with a bunch of casuals and little kids
Cena should recruit mjf to wwe😂😂
If i wasn’t watching… i’d mistaken Cena for Vince coz of how husky his voice is 😅
He is playing for the right team it’s AEW.
It all comes down to money for these wrestlers. Rightfully so. The right team is how much money you make with less work. 100% AEW is the right place.
Vince is so proud!!
Cena mjf in.wwe fued woukd be great for biseiness😮
Cena looks so sad the interview is just talking wrestling instead of the movie and his acting
What if MJF debuts raw after wrestlemania.
Starting the petition for MJF to be John Cena’s retirement match opponent
But I thought AEW wasn't competition.
Come on we all know they don’t want to acknowledge them 😅😂
MJF deserves going to the WWE.
I don’t know where MJF fits in, when it comes to the WWE.
He doesn't that's the point.
MJF will join WWE soon
Cena judged MJF the way he did because he didnt know kayfabe. MJF got over on him, hard lol.
Basically just confirmed he didn't resign lmao
Why are WWE wrestler so fucking weird to acknowledge other great athletes? Imagine someon from the Phoenix Suns talking like that about someone from Miami Heat.
There's something called "Contract".
Pheonix Suns and and Miami Heat are in the same league. WWE and AEW is more like if the NBA had another major professional basketball league competing against it.
@@theseanlegacy1795 Luka Doncic was playing in euro league for Real Madrid and everyone knew he was great allready at that point and showed respect. Wrestling or WWE is so delusional
Cena wants to invite mjf on his bus
Yeah, it would be nice to see him jumping ships to the right side. Cena in AEW would be great!
I think that is best place for him to be heel imo and he would give a fans a completely new thing from him just working for AEW for short while why wait for MJF or Kenny Omega come to WWE when he can go to AEW now and give us those feud in AEW give us John Cena non WWE wrestling moments
