Gathering in Albion Online can be daunting but with this beginner guide you'll be able to avoid common mistakes made by new players. Gathering can be quite profitable and is a very easy activity in Albion but if you don't do it exactly right you might be missing out on lots of silver.

But what about skinning? The con of not being able to progress in combat specs is not applied and you also get the loot from the open zone mobs and loots you would normally get. You can easily kill yellow open zones mobs instantly with only a weapon and full gathering gear and it doesnt feel so boring.

Is it worth it to use T8 ava tools to gather T3-T5? I want to refine + upgrade specs to 100
I only have Tinkerers on my islands, I noticed I am not making as much profit as I used to. All of them are T7 in T5/6 houses/guild hall. I recently started making bows with the leftover wood. Now my head is starting to swing to Fletchers.
Hey. I noticed the bots behavior and decided to camp on an exceptional node in a blue zone. Earned like 600k+ worth of exceptional hides and other stuff within an hour or less with premium. Then a bot I assume came and sat on the node resetting its location. lol
My man turned 2 pros into 4. That's the CZcams way :D
I had fun with skinning when the game first came out, was able to level up the firestaff and then xbow while gathering which was cool. But then got pushed into Red Zones and lost my interest quickly. What's the way you make silver now?
What about with the cartel controlling the crafting stations? Is it worth just making it so you can craft on your island?
can you proc bonus 2x times above 100%?
P.S. Keep in mind premium bonus is a separated bonus so it is a bit confusing. Basically you will get max at 137.5% *chance* to proc a 2x bonus (above 100% means 37.5% to get 3x, asume you farm t4 which is 6/6, each hit yields 2, 50% means you have a chance to get +2, 137.5% = you will always get +2 but just around 1/3 of the time you will get +4 instead, so avg is for t4 = 14 in volume), premium is a whole different bonus that is not chance but a guaranteed 50% extra quantity which means if each hit is 2 you will get bonus of 1, so for 6/6 you will always get 3 extra no matter you other yield, hence why it is in brackets as described being premium bonus. And total gain at max yield + premium is 17 avg, because main bonus is rng based you will sometimes get 15 from single full node or up to 21 but not guaranteed.

For generalist use the same tier as the laborer. For everything else, whatever you want the reward for.
Also, I gather in combat gear so I can kill farm mobs and fame farm at the same time. It may not be gather efficient, but it is time efficient that way.
good info. didn't know there was a PRIMARY resource for each city or i may not have put time into a martlock alt as i already have T5 stone gathering in my bridgewatch main. Maybe an "Alt Video Guide' focused around people who only want to play on 1 account and have bridgewatch (or other city) mains? If you had to pick only 2 alts which cities would they be in and why?

U can get even more yield if there is also the action bonus that were added in into the fray I think it's 30% or 20% I think
What to do if it not that much profitable to gather?
I live in sterling and I fish and gather stone and ores very fun never gets old for me never left the yellow zone and still making hella silver

@@-DA-ONE- … just do solo dungeon, 20 mins average 100k(if unlucky 30-50k profit 20mins) (if lucky 300-500k 20mins) for beginners. (Has to be in black zone, but i rarely get killed, I haven’t died for a month now.
I rarely gather other resources than Stone, because I would rather chill and gather stone to upgrade my houses to T5, this way I don't have to buy the stone. I do however collect wood, I am a wood gatherer to go collect T1 wood for my houses, again, it's too expensive to buy the wood. Still trying to figure out where to gather big amounts of T1 stone. I haven't found that spot yet. Any tips?
Make another character and farm t1 stones on Tutorial Island
@@jabezcabahug2999 that's actually a good idea, but I am not a fan of creating alts unless I am going to use them.
@@LadyFrayayt Don't use the premium reward and delete your alt once you've got your stones... Just my opinion

Can you make a video about stone gatherers? How much yield each Tier brings. Is it worth it to have them? To use to bring the resources instead of gathering. Now that I typed this I think gathering is best, more yield. To be honest I personally think stone gatherers are useless. What is stone used for other than upgrading houses? Yes, it can be sold, but those are the only options.
The reason stone still has value is because of hideout costs. Once guilds start busting each other's hideouts the prices rise. If it's peace time then the prices drop.

I enjoy hunting old, ancient and aspects in the roads. I'm trying to get all my tools to teir 8. What do you think is better to max out t8 gathering using the new books or just finding t8 resources?
Never use the books unless you're a multi billionaire and the most profitable gathering professions are fiber and hide gathering

i think the faction flag system has been updated cause i still get attacked by regular flagged players
Only in red zones can you be attacked by non faction players who are flagged if you are faction flagged.
What would you auggest to someone who plays this game solo 2 to 3 hrs a day and isn’t a hardcore PvP player??
I personally buy 6.1 dungeon maps and do them solo in the black zone. Its really dependant on speed and luck though

A bot is a program playing the game automatically. Short for "robot." Imagine an AI automatic script gathering non stop forever. That's what a bot is.
is it more profitable to gather the next tier with your curent teir or only gather your curent teir, so like T4 ore with a T3 pick untill you unlock T4 pick and then gather T5 ore
I wouldn't bother gathering higher tiers till at least t4 tools as the time it takes to gather a t4 node with a t3 tool is too slow for the amount of fame you get.

Skinning right now, but I started with lumber, and at one point stone. I check the markets and gather what yields the most silver.

You're wrong about red flag players cannot attack you while being faction flagged. I have been faction flagged and gathering in yellow zones and have been attacked by non faction flagged players.
If you are a faction flag there is no safe zone.

Once you use higher tier tools it speeds up massively. Spec also helps but not by much.
