  • This Is Humidome.
    Humidome were kind enough to send me their product to test! This nifty little product hydrates the shuttles to make them last longer (fits onto a tube of shuttles).
    I tested this product on my tube of shuttles that had the Humidome on it for a couple of days.
    From my short test, the shuttles lasted longer and kept their shape. The feel of the shuttles without the Humidome felt brittle and dead, where as with this product they felt fresh and full of life!
    This product you can buy for 29.90 euros and think it will be a great investment for you! It will save you money in the long term.

    Thanks for your review. I bought 1 after watching this video. Tried it this past weekend. Results (doubles play): Victor Master 3 = 3 games; Victor Champion 1 = 1.50 to 2 games. I'll see if they last longer this week as the Humidome will be in the tube & bag longer.

      Hi! T! Thank you for your kind words! I hope my stock review on the product was good. Where abouts are you from?

      I am happy to report I am also getting the same results (more games played = value for money) with Li-Ning goose & premium goose feather shuttles. The players in the group are so unhappy with the durability of my shuttles they golf swing my shuttles along the court between all rallies played from the start of the match. Whether I use Li-Ning or number 1s of Victor or RSL. Yes, I play with people who are hard to please. They spend less money on the overall cost per tube but actually use them up faster than me. Say I use 1 tube per month, they use 2-3 per month. Still they won't invest in a Humidome or simply buy better shuttles.

      Hi! T! That isn't good, hope you can buy better shuttles or invest into this

    Thanks, was wondering if the whole tube evenly humidified by Humidome or just the closest ones to it. Obviously you need to steam the shuttles beforehand, I assume the Humidome just keeps the moisture.

    I've had mine for 8 months. The beads have only shrunk once after 1 month. After I put it back in water they got big again. Now they don't shrink. But do break into small gel pieces. Humidome cap does fog up - most noticeable because it's fall/winter.

      I would try some of the other packs of beads that it came with. It might be due to the weather

      Thanks for replying. I've removed the broken gel pieces. The remaining beads still work but do dry up quickly. It's working so I'll save the spare packs for future use.

    Guess I’m late to the party hope you’re still responding my question would be, did you feel any difference(bad) in the flight of the shuttlecock due to extra moisture?

      Hi there, thanks for the comment. Overall was very good, including extra life in the shuttle. Made it less brittle! I didn't notice a difference of weight or anything when hitting.

    Hi quick question, when we attach Humidome to the tube, do we need to open the lid on other end of tube ? or its just attaching Humidome to the cork side and leave other end with lid on it.

    • @dynamicbadminton
      @dynamicbadminton  Před 5 lety

      Donga Dinesh kumar yes you just leave the lid on the other end :)

    Hi,
    Thanks for the video, could you comment on how many beads are inside the thing? And what is the height of the device, it seems to awe-fully stick out of the tube...

    • @dynamicbadminton
      @dynamicbadminton  Před 3 lety +1

      Can't tell you how many beads are inside. You get 2 packs for the device. Height is about 2 inches.
