Great video! I began using the Humidome in 2018. I submerge the beads in distilled water once every 1-3 months. I still have the same sets of beads the package came with. Because of this I haven't had to buy another Humidome. My shuttles typically will last up to 3 doubles matches. (I do use RSL 1 or Victor Master).

Hi, CK! What's your opinion on using humidifiers that give off a cool mist? I have read on forums that heat tends to degrade the glue holding the shuttlecock together. Thanks in advance for your input. :D
Would you make a video experiment on steamed vs normal shuttles to see the difference in durability? Like comparing the condition after 20 smashes etc of both shuttles etc.
Its almost impossible to compare like for like as my first smash might be different to my 40th smash but ideally, we'd want fresh shuttles so we wouldnt have to steam them
Dude, this is my problem, it feels crisp for like 5 mins. Then all the feathers start falling off or start to get messy. Thanks for answering this problem
What is the best way to store shuttles that you've not finished using? I bought a fairly expensive tube of shuttles, and the day I opened the tube, the shuttles were excellent. Didn't use all of the shuttles, so I kept half for next week. But when I used them the next week, the shuttles seem to have lost its durability. I am thinking that it could be because I store the shuttles incorrectly. I keep them in my badminton bag, and the bag goes into a dark, cold storeroom under my staircase. Am I doing something wrong?
how do you dry wet shuttles when it either got over steamed or submerged in water? how long to dry them before steaming again or is it even useable anymore?
I like the feeling of the shuttle when they aren't wet or dry, just right. I had a fellow shuttler bring a tube treated like this, but the shuttles were too wet. Any suggestions?
Hey CK nice haircut! How long do you play with your shuttles? Do you still play with them once the feathers start to frey but not crack off? Ive found an AS50 lasts me and my girlfriend an entire hour. We get a crisp one at the start of every session.
Unrelated question,, I am looking for a mid range badminton racket, whether I should opt for the game version of a top end racket or those uniquely named rackets from Yonex in the same price range. Please give me your opinion.. thanks

Ive played with a nanoflare380 (cheaper version of a nf800) and switches to an 99pro 4u. If you cannot generate power with a lighter racket like the 88s, a 99pro could tire you out - even if the sweetspot is very large. If I would have chose racket again, I would have chosen the 99pro again or the 88Dpro.
@@karol6322 thank you for the reply, i didnt understand the last part , you wouldn’t or would have ? I can generate power with the 88s PRO but i dont feel its strong enough to do damage, they always get returned back or seem slow.
I meant that I would have rechosen my 99pro or gone with a 88D. The 88D is a safer bet than the 99p. The 99pro is an excellent racket however and I have no complaints about it.
Can you recommend me a durable shuttlecock tubes that can last and isnt so expensive? And where can I buy them? I have been buying a lot of types of tubes and i always dont get the amount of durability that I wanted. I live in the PH btw...
I’m assuming you meant shuttles. It depends on your budget really but I’ve always found that shuttles are false economy if you try and skimp on them. Top end shuttles are expensive for a reason but they do last very long 👍🏼
On my shuttles tube i have a small device called HUMIDOME.It maintain humidity inside the tube.So my shuttles last longer. And then i buy less shuttles!!

How often should i steam the shuttles?
Can you review some hybrid shuttles like the bablot hybrid challenge and compare how many games you can get compared to feathers please?

For some reason if they got wet, I would just leave them out in open air to dry for at least 3-4 days?? Even a week before using them
can I do this using a humidifier?
Yes you can 😊
