The Olimpic stadium is close to Akropolis, u can see it in the distance, amazing. This video is great , and informative, thank you!

It is called Panathenaic Stadium as in antiquity was the place of Games every 4 years in honour of Goddess Athena the patron Goddess of Athens, it was used as the stadium for the first modern Olympics in 1896 but kept its original name, the Olympic Stadium of Athens is the one in Kalogreza suburb of Athens which was used for the 2004 Olympics
