  • Quick and temporary fix for X axis error on Epilog laser. This is not permanent, but just to keep you running till new parts come in.
This is when you get your laser eye slamming into the left side of the laser and get a x-axis disabled error.
Epilog technical service is awesome and are very helpful. I highly recommend calling them when you have any issues with your laser.

Thanks for posting! I had this issue last year and the technician had to come in and check it out. He did exactly what you did. Today the Epilog decided to have [x/y disabled: Y] issues... hopefully somewhere on CZcams there is a video explaining how to fix the Y. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

If u cover the brand new ones with a layer of clear scotch tape going the long way they seem to last longer. And when u wrap the tape around make sure the seem is facing down when installed

Thank you for sharing! I'm hoping that this is the same problem I am having. I'm going to go try it right now 🙂

hello there! can u tell me where i can get that air assist hose, because my hose deformed (elongated) and it became stiff so when it shrinks it tangles and causes problems for the laser head during engraving?

Can anyone tell me the part number? Is there an easier way to order other than calling Epilog?
