    I couldn't find any install videos on the charge air pipe anywhere on youtube , so this is my video install of the HPS hot pipe.
    it was quite difficult working the silicone and lining up the actual pipe itself. but not impossible. i'd give this job about 6/10 on the difficulty scale
    although if you have jack stands and a way to get the car up a little higher you may have an easier time than i did. i have only one jack available to me at the moment and no jack stands so my room was limited.
    here's a link to the product on ebay and amazon:

    www.amazon.com...
    if you dont want to go the whole pipe route you could save some money and get the 6EE charge pipe. it replaces the baffled section ONLY , and to be honest when you get a tune you may have to upgrade to this pipe anyway. Unless you decide to go with a larger intercooler
    www.sxthelemen...
    6EE also sells the hot pipe for a similar pipe and they have the added option to powder coat it if you want the engine bay to be color matching .
    this video i install an Injen Intake on my 2014 Veloster Turbo. the install is pretty straightforward and very easy , even for a novice. I picked up my intake cheap on an ebay auction , however i was lucky in my case , i would suggest scour the forums and Facebook market place and you could probably pick one up for $100 or less
    this mod doesn't really do much in terms of power but it definitely will wake up the sound over the stock sounds , which were very very quiet.
    Hopefully this video helped you In someway or could be used a resource for some information!
    Again Thanks for watching!!!

    The bolts going on the engine for the stock charge pipe are 12mm, the car is mostly based on 10mm and 12mm, the caps you can just pull it off with pliers. Nice job on the video!

      @Neptune8  Před 3 lety +1

      Yea those caps were very deceptive , nothing really indicated that they could have been pulled off. Thanks 🙏

      @@Neptune8 I'm about half an inch away from being able to bolt it in. I've got a friend coming over to help. I suffer from vertigo when I lay on my back, so had to just go with it not bolted in. It's a very tight fit in there and feels solid, so I'm confident it's not going anywhere if I drive it in the meantime

    If you’re hearing turbo flutter “tu tu tu” it usually means boost is being pushed back into the turbo, or you’re losing boost somewhere?
