FILM DESCRIPTION:
An axe-wielding maniac terrorizes residents of Plymouth, Mass., after a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy. Picking off victims one by one, the seemingly random revenge killings soon become part of a larger, sinister plan.

This kind of reminded me of the tanning bed scene in Final Destination 3 which was much longer and torturous.

Yup Final Destination was way more brutal you don’t even see her cooking in this scene
Katherine. Yulia had the goriest death, Lizzie had the most drawn-out death, and Lionel had the most unexpected death next to that old man, but this death was the most revolting and macabre. To begin, Katherine was established as greedy and selfish encouraging Thomas to keep Rightmart open, deleting the footage of the riot, and swearing Jessica to secrecy about it. That naturally made her and her stepdaughter Jessica share a mutual dislike of one another.
Despite this, the whole scene showed that she had a few redeeming qualities. It began with getting off the dinner table and managing to elude John Carver for quite a while. The next thing was being horrified at all she saw showing that some humanity remained in her. Finally there was finding Amy alive. The pragmatic thing was to leave her as freeing her was going to be too noisy and time-consuming allowing the Carver to catch them but she promised to come back with help. John Carver showed quite a bit of skill hurling that pitchfork javelin style and nailing her in the back.
I’m right with you man I think Kathleen is number 1 and yulia is number 2 and third would be grandpa
I didn’t like Kathleen from the start, but being cooked like a turkey seems a little too brutal for her.

I feel like her injury should've been a lot worse, based on her being cooked in an oven.
Yes realistically her body would of looked alot worse. It would of been to graphic to put in the movie. I have seen pics of people who were truly burned alive and it would of been much worse than what the movie showed. It's not something you would want to see unless you have a strong sense of curiosity about that kind of thing and a strong mind.
I suppose. But I'm sure the film's an 18. And, I'm sure Anakin's burn looked worse in Revenge of the Sith, and that being a 12.

The pop-up timer's little boop at the end when she was done. OMG that was some dark humor, but funny as hell.
I gotta say, Eli Roth really never disappoints when it comes to gory deaths and creative kills. I really enjoyed this movie, really brought things back to basics. No convoluted plans, just a straight up killer with a simple motive and an axe to grind no pun intended. 😂😂😂😂

It would be even better if the oven was solid steel with metal casting acting as a sound barrier while door was just metal with no window in it along with a slide bolt along with brass horns fitted through the casting to convert screams into the bellowing of a bull.

I did this same experiment. I asked my wife to treat me as if I were a grilled dinner. She put me in a plastic bag and put me in the refrigerator from morning until nightfall. Then she put me on the food preparation table and put spices and vinegar on me. Then she put me in the oven at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. I felt the heat. High after 5 minutes, and when the heat increased, my wife opened the oven lid and was talking to her sister. She told her that the food would be ready in an hour and a half.
She closed the lid and then raised the temperature to 75, and then the temperature intensified a little inside the oven until my body became a brown color. Then she took me out while I was fully awake, then they put me on the dining table until she finished eating her food that she had cooked while I was in the oven, and then she carried me and put me in a box. Garbage in the kitchen

I'm guessing anaesthetic. Or maybe it was a medication to slow down her heart until it eventually stops beating.
Looked like a device that tells you when the meat is done. Notice it popped at the end when she was "cooked"

Scary thing is, this is similar to how prisoners were executed during the Greek era. Prisoners were put inside this big bull 🐂 made out of bronze then once the trapdoor was locked, a fire was lit underneath it so you were basically cooking to death inside the bull as the bronze got to extreme heat.
Except they weren’t the idea of food.
You know, there's a debate on whether the bronze bull truly existed or not. Historians are more inclined to think it didn't exist. Guess there's just no proof of it.
