Crush is such a perfect first comeback song!! The vocals were just chefs kiss on the chorus and My Man Ricky aka King of Bridges absolutely DEVOURED that bridge!!!!
Crush is completely different to what they debuted with and I’m honestly obsessed..they pulled off the original soft “in bloom” concept well, but this concept suits them even better so I was pleasantly surprised.
Well they did go through different concepts in Boys Planet. Mnet choose different kind of songs for them to cover so they could be versatile.

i absolutely LOVE how even though this was a stronger concept for them, it still doesn't feel like the typical boygroup sound. it's very vocal driven and emotional, my favorite part is the post-chorus but the percussion sounds in the chorus are a very unique touch too
I was so surprised by the switch up from In Bloom but this suits them so so well!
my favorite reaction ever on this channel, Pd gets the intentionality of the world and music of ZB1 and i truly think Crush was an underrated song and deserved more attention. It was an epic cb for the boys and i just cant wait to see what more they have to offer

My reaction every time I see Ricky.. Ive been on one hell of a journey with this group cuz all during Boys Planet I kept saying Jiwoong will be my bias if he debuts(cuz I started the show cuz of him) and he did and I also loved Hanbin and Taerae... And after all the members were announced and they debut those 3 were my biases but right after debut I dk something happen and Ricky just got me and now I have 4 biases.. Ricky tho has become my ult bias for ZB1 and ugh I just love him and all of them!! Crush instantly became my favorite Zb1 song its just so good!!!

Beat drops are hit or miss and I wasn't sure they would pull it off. What sold me were the stages. Tho I prefer the cute/brighter concept on them. This def grew on me and I like it a bit now.

The only thing I don't like about the video is that our son (Gunwook) was given a small appearance and very few lines. Even in In Bloom he also appears little in the MV but more than in Crush

Thats not a fair statement they are the most popular 5th gen group rn they get 250,000+ likes on their insta photos in a few hours of their posting so I they are doing well
lol that is so far from the truth. They did not lose all hype. They're selling out all seats and their album sales are doing numbers including breaking records in Japan just within the last 2 weeks. Some people left when they saw only the teaser of Crush without giving it a chance because it sounded like "noise music". I would say good riddance if they're willing to jump ship that fast without even hearing the full song. ZB1 is doing well rather you may want to believe it or not
