So glad to find out that I don’t HAVE to wait for the nail glue to come in to use my foil. THANK YOU!

Is there a tutorial for your nails? They’re gorgeous
Can you do foils on traditional nail polish aka no gel?
Yes, you can do it! 💅🏻
Where on the Maniology website do I find a pkain stampee like the one you used?
Here you go ❤ maniology.com/products/ice-cube-clear-rectangular-stamper-w-stamper-card
Well tu❤❤❤
If I’m using gel polish, how long do I cure the color for it to be tacky before adding foil?
Hi! This method is not suitable for gel polish. If your base is a gel polish, we recommend you use Nail Art Foil Application Glue. Thanks!
What is the press thing called? That you used as a press? That clear box that pressed the nail?
Hi! It is the Ice Cube Stamper. :)
@@Maniology I can't find it, link?
@@sarahbeee5240did you find it.. Amazon sells great stampers as well.. my favorite one is Pueen brand circle stamped.. but they also sell other brands if you want a rectangle/square plus as long as you have a good stamper you can use any stamping plate you want.. some say they only use maniology etc.. but honestly I have tried all of the stamping plates and they all work the same as long as you use a good stamper.. you can also stamp with foils, glitters, nail pigments/powders and even eye shadows. If you need any help I'd be happy to try to help
What is that thing you using to stamp the nail?
Hi Crystal, it is Ice Cube Stamper. :)
What is that plastic square thing you were using?
It's a nail art stamper. 😉 Here's a link to it if you're interested: maniology.com/collections/nail-stampers-scrapers
What's the clear stamp called?
It's the Ice Cube Clear Rectangular Stamper 😊
Did anyone notice that one of the plates just say “ology” on the bottom. I just checked mine, the same 😮
Hi! We are aware that there was a misprint on the "Maniology" part on plate MXM096. Fortunately, the misprint does not affect any of the designs on the plate as the branding and plate number is for identification purpose only. Thank you for checking!
So I just apply the foil to polish when it's still little tacky and it will transfer?
Yes, that's correct! 😉💅
@@Maniology Thank you so much for replying. I have been trying this method and can't seem to find a sweet spot of tacky-ness and my foil transfers in little chucks instead of the whole thing.
I need an alternative to foil glue because for some reason it immediately peels off my nail like the glue is still always wet on the other side.
Maybe I have to apply a thinner coat of the polish before pressing the foil?
So you have to apply a polish, let it get tacky and then apply the foil?
Yes! Just wait for it to be semi tacky so that foil will stick to your nails! :)
Can you do this with regular polish? I like to use both regular & gel polish
Hi! Stamping polish will work best as they are formulated for such a purpose. However, regular polishes might sometimes work too depending on the formula and opacity. Try with polishes you own that are opaque in 1 coat and they should work.
You can stamp on top of your completed gel manicure. However, you can't use gel polish as the stamping polish. Gel polish does not transfer to the stamper correctly. You can use regular stamping polish to stamp. After you are done stamping, just topcoat with your usual gel top coat and cure a final time.
Did you have to cure the polish first?
When using stamping polishes, there's no need to cure them since they are quick-dry polishes. To achieve a successful foil transfer, you'll want to work swiftly, so the polish becomes slightly tacky. This tackiness allows the foil to adhere to the polish, giving you a beautiful foiled design. Move quickly but carefully for the best results!
@@ManiologyI think she was asking about foil application.. there's no nail stamping in this video so she might not even know what stamping polish is.. believe it or not but not everyone knows about nail stamping and what you need.. personally I have never had a problem using regular polish for stamping.. I've even used jelly polishes to stamp on a white base..
