I’ll give seat 4/10 on comfort. The mid controls add to the monkey butt

Surprised you have a low opinion of the seat…….have no idea what you mean by “mid controls add to the monkey butt” though 🤯

No mid controls on this bike. Monkey butt is your mother's fault: HYGIENE MATTERS, she failed you

As to 3 of the 'not' 5: the perfect gearbox is audible, we live for function over aesthetic. Only egoists care about visuals. No need for a tv on a bike. The front forks are a part of the best touring system in the world. Go ride ANYTHING ELSE for 10,000 miles and redo your review.

      Since 2016
BMW R1200RT 9000 miles and counting
Honda VFR1200FD 10000 miles and counting
      Honda NC750X 45000 miles
      Honda Africa Twin 18000 miles
Sorry mate, but by your own criteria I’m more than entitled to my opinion
      😛 😂😂😂

      As to Opinions
Those are as Assholes, everyone has one; to the egoist, everyone else's stinks.
You actually spend time on non-BMW? U r unreliable from hear(sic.)
Piss n moan if you like; self-absorption got no place on public street

I've expressed no dislike for your opinion, just shown how, by your criterea, I am entittled to an opinion. You on the other hand are quite clear in your dislike of my opinion. So, by you writing this "As to Opinions
Those are as Assholes, everyone has one; to the egoist, everyone else's stinks." I can therefore only assume you are refering to yourself as an egotist...which is your call, but a bit odd!
And to this "You actually spend time on non-BMW? U r unreliable from hear(sic.)" How can you possibly comment in an informed way on a brand and its merits if you don't ride any other brands?

@@whojamaflip7997 owned Honda Suzuki n Yamaha, brothers lent me fxlh & triumph; I never said don't try the clunkers. I expressed dismay at your masochistic mileage on lesser vehicles. I've met some daft birds; yet & still, I didn't go on a second date with such women. As to Opinions. I attempted to express a dichotomy: whereas 'opinions' are divisive & thus antisocial, therefore my opinion is that no member of society gets to have an opinion

If you are commuting 22 thousand mile a year into central London cost size and fuel economy become very important, the NC750X beats pretty much every other bike as a commuter bike if cost is an issue.
At the moment though I commute into central London once a week, the RT is too wide to easily filtre through traffic, the VFR cuts through it like a knife through butter. So is better for that purpose, the RT however is much better as a tourer.
I’ve has both a BMW F800GS and a triumph tiger 800, the Tiger was by far the better bike
Lastly if you look at most data on reliability, BMW are trounced by Japanese bikes.
I’m not saying BMWs are bad bikes, but neither are they universally the best. Bike are all about what suits your specific requirements and size shape etc. Every bike has advantages and disadvantages as does every bike brand. It’s plain ridiculous to state one brand is better than all others full stop.
