Thank you for the interview with both of these gentlemen. It was a nice treat to see and also to be able to enjoy hearing their witty candor.
The show had the perfect cast with even good replacements and had so many stars past and present (at that time) on it. That’s why I still tune in. The storylines are cheesy but seeing all the various stars makes it a winner and timeless.
I watch the Love Boat every day currently. PLUTO TV. Very uplifting show. Thank you all for entertaining us for over 50 years ! ❤❤❤

I still love the show ...even tho as FRED says .... still strong after 40 yrs.. it went off the air! Sometimes it has you hysterical laughing.....other times....in tears!! The 1 episode that had me in tears...... Was when Vicki turned 18.....and she had been drinking to celebrate in 1 scene.....dad screams @ her to put the bottle down! I lost my composure! So some of the young actor or actress that no one knew .... became a household name because of the love boat! Still ❤️ the show! Its just sad that Julie & gopher..... didn't truly fall in love & marry! 😂😂😁😁! Just kiddin'!

The draw to the show with the lightheartedness the Stars the beautiful backdrops and the comedy with the excellent casting. It was one of the last feel good shows the TV ever made and they certainly don't make them like this anymore most of what's on TV now is filth
Hope to see them on a cruise at some point before it's too late
Unfortunately we have already lost the captain.
I would ask about how the concept of bringing on celebrity guest stars occured. It's probably written somewhere but considering that it went through two pilots first why do they think the third one worked.
