Thank you to everyone who has been praying for my hubby and I. He had his Pulmonary specialist appointment last week and found out he might be able to come off the oxygen after his hernia surgery. We ask you to please continue to pray for us.
Amen!! Praise God! Prayer works!!
Prayers
Oh my goodness this is the first I’m hearing about this, I am so sorry that he had this happen to him. You sound sick yourself I hope you’re doing better by the time you post this. I will pray for you both.
@MommaShawna we've been through a lot. He's had multiple surgeries. He was in a rollover accident in 2009 that left him with a broken neck in 2 places, a pinned knee, and a shattered shoulder. Then the doctor, who did his neck, told him to take Ibuprofen with his pain medicine, which caused his stomach to burst due to sepsis. Then, in 2020, we both got Covid. It damaged his lungs, and that's why he's on the oxygen. Thank you. I do suffer from Crohn's and need surgery to fix 2 fistulas, but I can't get it due to no health insurance.
🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love that you include even some of the hack fails (like the tongs). Those details make you so endearing. And how sweet that we got to see more of your hubby enjoying some of your treat ideas. ☺♫☼♥
Okay, that first hack with the trash bags coming out of the handle of the basket, LOVE IT!!!! Thanks, why didn't I think of that. The onion peeled with a veggie peeler. You are killing me. I love these. I can't believe they are so simple and wonderful, yet I have not thought of them. I like that napkin holder transformed into a washcloth holder, great idea.
When we buy garbage bags the box comes with a hole like that
So. Amazing
I've made popcorn that way, too. You might want to add a bit of olive oil (maybe 1tbsp), a teaspoon or less of salt, and finally, take a toothpick and puncture it through the fold of the bag's opening so that it'll stay shut after the popping expands the bag.
In a similar way, my stepmother would use a regular grocery store paper bag to cook a turkey in. Juicy and wonderful every time!
@@nitanice Sounds great! But won't the paper bag burn in the oven?
@@sweetstufff First time I saw her do it, I panicked. But no it doesn't burn. Look on CZcams for vidoes. It's an old-fashioned way predating plastic cooking bags.
@@nitanice That is great! Thanks for the info!
This woman is so good at what she does thumbs up 👍🏽 every time🎉
Here for all the hacks. You and Bargain Bethany share the best hacks.
@Mrs Alma you are so right
Already subscribed her, going to look up bargain Bethany now!
I love how you also say “You are enough” at the end. Thank you.
As a homeschooler, I get those little pump bottles (you used for lotion) and put window cleaner in them. We use them for cleaning our marker boards or other wipe of pages especially when they are starting to look grungy.
Love this idea!!
U teachers are so creative
I’m a sub and this is such a wonderful idea! I’m headed to the dollar store now, lol
Are these bottles also at dollar tree?
Good tip!
Kathryn, you knocked it out of the park AGAIN!!! I wish you had time to do 2 Do It On A Dimes a week. That’s how much I love your videos! But I understand, you have a busy life. You are my absolute favorite in CZcams land! 😊
The 😂❤
The baking soda hack lids are in the plant section and craft section at my Dollar Tree and the long strips of plastic that hang with clips on them. Just letting you guys know.
That’s where they are in mine, too!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wow! Thanks!! I have been looking and looking for these lids… with the mason jars🙄🤦🏻♀️
Thank you
Tillberry
The parmesan cheese lid on a canning jar hack at 4:38 I immediately had to go in my kitchen and try this. YES, WOW, OMGoodness it's the perfect fit! Thank you :)
Me too
U are so awesome!!!!! U should be on TV. I sent your name to dollar tree as they need your ideas on Tv using their products. Say u go around the stores and buy their products then u go home and
Make helping items to make your home look better....i hope they take the bait....Catherine is your name with a C or a K??? Hugs my friend...
We use those lotion pump containers for sunscreen for the kids -- comes in handy before their sports tournaments and longs days in the sun!
The little silicone face scrubbers are also great to clean your artist and blending brushes!
Good to know! Thank you!
That is exactly what I use one for, my paint brushes!
I use mine as a vegetable scrubber.
Luv those
Can I ask you something or no
Chocolate popcorn is AMAZING!
Yesss! Get some drizzle on there
@@DoItOnaDime melt some milk chocolate and pour it over the popcorn, allow to harden and enjoy.... it is Sooooooo good!
OMG!!! Bugles on our fingers! Yes! Thanks for the fun memory! Liking these hacks too! DT here I come!
OMG potato peeler on an onion! You just changed my life.
Just wow about using a peeler on onions! I'm doing that one for sure. I've been doing popcorn in a paper bag for years, just listen for the popping to stop or you will have some burning.
Hi! Do you measure out an exact amount of popcorn or do you have any tips? Id like to try this!
@@TheLaurachavez333 I have always used a third of a cup of kernels and I think Katherine said a quarter cup so either should be fine. I fold the paper bag down twice and it ends up just about full of popcorn.
I like the cabinet towel bar.
Who else felt that hug?
I love your videos and hacks!!
I want to thank you Katherine. For making me feel loved and like I belong. Whenever I have a bad day, I come to CZcams and watch your videos. Your kindness (plus your amazing hacks) is just so awesome!!
yes true
❤
Plz bro give me your whatspp or insta i need your support i will be very thankful
I like that paper towel idea. We have a very small kitchen. That would really come in handy. The sprinkle idea is also a hit. I've never understood how fairy bread (white bread, butter and rainbow sprinkles) never became big in the states. It's huge in Australia. They even serve it at birthday parties over there.
Another great save is to use the $1.25 ketchup on your burned out pan bottom. The acid will clean off the burn with a lot less scrubbing and extend the life of your pan.
Because we go with cinnamon and sugar, which is something usually on hand.
@@lainiwakura1776 ...And toasted. I don't care for cold butter on bread. It must be toasted bread, and melted butter. Lol
That fairy bread sounds awful to me, I'm sorry. It sounds like something I would have come up with if I was very high and broke 😂
Baking soda vinegar soak also 💞
@@lainiwakura1776, yes! Cinnamon bread for the win! We put ours under the broiler until melted. So good!
Yep, the green Parmesan cheese lid fits standard mason jars! So do many peanut butter jar lids!
Mayo jar lids fit too
So do Mason jar lids
... 😂
@@msaijay1153 well, two part mason jar lids are not leakproof. And juggling the two parts of the lid is awkward. A one part lid can be handy.
I just save jars from items I already buy. You’d be surprised how fast you can stock up.
Wow, it is good to know, thanks.
I put the shelf liners under cutter boards. The Dollar Tree has them as well. I just cut into squares. They work well to to open jars. Gives you a great grip!
Oh good idea. Thanks for the tip
,
😂❤❤❤
@@bethesdachilliwack1263 might seem funny, but it works.
I saw this on Cooking with Pam - use a piece of the Dollar Tree rug grip under the cutting board to keep it from sliding. That way you don’t have a wet towel that may grow bacteria warp wood because you forget it under there for a day.
What a treasure trove of hacks! Thank you!
The popcorn hack! 🤯❤️
🎉 🍿 ❤
Her energy just makes me feel good! You go girl:)
She resonates Joy!!
I'm watching more positive people like her and less stuff about Karens. Helps my mental and emotional health.
LOVE AND PRAYERS TO YOUR HUSBAND AND YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF HIM
I use the lids for the baking soda hack to make flower arrangements. The papertowel holder is great in the bathroom and saves laundry if you have alot of hand washing folks in there or alot of company. I have one outside (in the good weather) over a ledge by the outside faucet.
That facial pump thing is great for nail
Polish remover!!! That’s what I use it for 😊
I use mine for liquid eye make up remover. Just use the croton pads also available at DT.
I have a couple, I use for my a facial toner/apple cider vinegar & I have one for alcohol too, just put a little on a cotton pad to clean my glasses.
If I'm having a bad day, I will rewatch one of your videos. I refresh myself with whatever you're referring to in the video, but my therapy comes at the end of the video. I truly need to hear "In case no one has told you today, you are enough". I have been living in my car for over 6 months with a couple of people showing kindness by letting me and my cat stay with them when it's really cold outside. So having you say that I'm enough is so much more help than you know! I hope God blesses you in more than the huge manner that you bless others!❤️❤️❤️
It amazes me that you can still find new and useful tips. Thanks!
Love love love these hacks! You're amazing Kathryn! 🙂🙃
Once again love your finds. But I also love what a good and funny sport Charlie is. Made me crack up.
I love your home hacks using Dollar Tree items. Thank you!!
I found a hack for you to try.
Mix 2 tablespoons white vinegar with 2 tablespoons of dish soap. The pan with years of baked on stuff will clean up like new.....no heavy scrubbing. Works on metal and glass. The pans will look new.
Love the tips for those items.🥰
Your local Dollartree looks so much nicer and has more selection than the one at my local one.
I know right. I only wish mine look half as nice.
My dollar tree is junky, doesn’t carry even half the products shown!
Dollar tree near me same. Bunch of junk. You can go to dollar tree online but you have to buy 24 of the item. Which I suppose is okay if you are a dollar tree advertiser on CZcams or teach arts and crafts.
Yo. Compro. En. Dólar. Tri. Me gusta. Mucho
Right?! Apparently my neighborhood DT does NOT have the DT+ section yet 😕
I'm totally freaking out. I hope that I can remember all of these fabulous items when I go to the store ♥
Oh my goodness. Yes, I remember putting Bugles on my fingers and pretending I had long nails. But I was doing this in the mid-1960s long before you were a twinkle in your mama's eye.
Kathryn - you are the best! I've been a fan since day one and you just keep improving! Thank you!
Kathryn you are Truly Amazing!! Wonderful 💗 Ideas, Hacks!! Just Awesome!
You always make my day! You have an amazing personality & I love your $🌳 finds!! Thank You beautiful lady!!
YES TO THE POPCORN! I saw Alton Brown do this and we have never gone back to the pouches. So many great suggestions! The lids from the cheese of to use for baking soda in the fridge… brilliant! Thank you. YOU are enough! Peace be with you 🥰
Try putting butter and parmesan cheese into the bag before popping.
Also, sub bacon grease for butter before popping.
I really like the suction face scrubber to clean paint brushes with!!😊
Yes to that green color, it's soothing and clean. Love it.
The perforated mason jar lids(fridge/baking soda) are great for storing and easy access for many things. I use a shorter jar and keep cotton swabs for bathroom, make up vanity or crafts
I found myself unable to look away! Soooo many good hacks! Making my list for next time I go to Dollar Tree 😍
Great ideas! I couldn't look away either. I watch her videos on my cell phone and I take a screen shot of all the goods I want to buy when I go to the DOLLAR TREES. The pic reminds me of what to get and if I can't find it, I show the pic to an employee. I keep the pic in my phone until I find it. Hope this helps you or others.
God bless you Ashley.

Holy Catnip Batman! It’s payday and my path to DT is burning up! I enjoy your channel and leave feeling happy. You have found your calling. Thank you.
I did the napkin holder hack & use it as a makeup pallet holder! It saved so much room in my bathroom & if you need more space you can easily add on! I left it silver for now but am thinking of spray painting it gold!
How do you hold palettes
I really liked the parmesan hack and the paper towel holder. Tongs are great for handling cactus plants, by the way! I got the small tongs with the removable plastic tips for that purpose.
I just wanted to let you know the little scalp massager is excellent for people who suffer from migraines! I have a very rare type of fibromyalgia and I also have multiple sclerosis. And massaging the scalp really helps the area around the vagus nerve in the back of the head. Those little suckers are great for distressing the brain! I so enjoy your channel! I can’t tell you how it helps with the pain every day! God bless your beautiful heart sweet angel!❤
The people with fibromyalgia in my fasting group say that fasting is AMAZING for relief!

Love the air fryer hack, toilet paper roll, trash bag hack! Thanks for the Dollar Tree Hack
Wow! Dollar stores outside of Canada are amazing! Wish we had dollar stores like this!
Hmmm I’m in 🇨🇦 and most of what Kathryn featured in this video anyway, I’ve seen at Dollar Tree; I was there today.
But see, I have 2 DT within 2km from my residence, and they don’t necessarily have the same merchandize even though they’re roughly the same square footage.
A few months ago, I had the idea to use the towel rack, for over the cabinets, as a paper towel holder under my utility sink! It took me several days to get it apart, but it finally worked 🤩 Thank you, Kathryn, for more wonderful hacks!! You are amazing 😍
Great tips and hacks, as always.
I especially like the upholstery cleaning hack and the storage for trash bags.
Prayers for healing, comfort and strength 🙏🙏🙏
I have used a pair of those kitchen scissors for YEARS and they are amazing!
I have the sink strainer and I love it. I always hated the medal one cuz it gets so yukky looking, but the silicone one is so easy to clean and the metal you have to keep messing with it so it doesn't plug the sink and the water won't drain. It definitely gets a 10/10 for me.
Love all of your tips. I wish we had a Dollar Tree with a $5 section, though. Super jealous of all your great finds that I can't get!
Thanks for sharing. I am a firm believer that sometimes a hack can be shared by someone else, and be explained so much more simply without the extra chatter.
Your videos are so fun! And the bonus footage at the ends of your videos is great! You are a joy to watch! Even without your "on-air bubbliness", you are enough! 💜 🙂💜
The kitchen scissors are amazing! 🤩 Fun fact, there's also a bottle opener on them in between the handles.
And I just recently learned about the herb shaver in the middle. I've learned so much about scissors here 🤗
Wow, super fun and innovative ideas Kathryn and your energy is always so uplifting...you are a blessing!
Kathrynn, you are so amazing. Your positivity is contagious. I still love your lashes and nails! I remember when you first started YT....and you are still the best! Love you! Jeanie xxoo
I am home scrapbooking and playing YT on automatic. When this video came up, I literally stopped scrapbooking and watched the entire thing!! I love that you do so many Dollar Tree hacks. We have used so many. Todays video, I want to do the napkin holder towel rack. We do not have the pump lotion bottles here yet. :( Oh, and that paper towel hack….going to use that since we are in a rental at this moment and I don’t want to put holes in the cabinets like I did in my old home, to hand the paper towel hangers. Now the paper towels just reside on the counter, taking up space!! THANK YOU!!!!
KATHERINE, HOW DO YOU KEEP MAKING THE BEST VIDEOS? I am so impressed and blessed by what you share.
*THANK YOU SO MUCH!*
This video is so helpful! Even your personality and editing is amazing.
God bless you and your family.
Peace, Lynne 🍃💜✝️💜🍃
Fantastic video with so many usable ideas! Thank you so much for making all of our lives easier, one tip at a time! But even better than your creativity and ingenuity is your positive, upbeat personality; and clear love for others...you always make my day, dear one. Praying God's greatest blessings on you and your family! Pam xo
Nice smart women and i love how happy you are sharing your tricks with us 😊
You shared so many great hacks today, Kathryn! I love the new spring colors for the organizing baskets. Great video! ❤
I love your positive energy. You’re such an inspiration to so many. Please keep doing what you do. You shine the joy and love of God so brilliantly!!
I love the wash cloth idea, just a good idea for storage. You may not have everything in your store, but your store is beautifully organized, the ones I go into, are a mess all the time.
Those pump bottles you used for lotion are great for nail polish remover! Alcohol, too.
I wish I would have known that paper towel hack a month ago 🤦🏻♀️ such a good idea! I want to find those lids for the baking soda idea and yes the Jumex guava juice is so good! 🤤
It's so good!
Great hacks thanks. Prayers & blessings to you & your family. 😊
but way too much sugar...
I love Charlie's appearances in this video. He looks like he is enjoying himself while benefiting from the food hacks. Definitely love your videos and look forward to them every week😊
me to👍
My German Shepherds love their backs massaged too. The brush holds their loosened fur and so gentle that they sit still for this treat.
That facial pump scrubber looks like it would work fantastically with liquid foundation. I will be looking for them at my DTs. I love the hand towel organizer made from napin holders, too! Great video. TFS!
What was the hand towel organizer? Missed that one
@@lisamiller2439 me too I use the paper towel holder from dt. For my toliet-paper and paper towels.
@@lisamiller2439 I think it was the napkin holders zipped tied together
The plastic dispenser that you use for lotion works beautifully to keep vinegar in if you can food. That way you can clean the tops of your jars with minimal vinegar.
What a delightful and creative channel!🌞Fl.
Love the mason jar tip that the parmesean cheese lids fit them! Kicking myself that I threw one away last week.
A couple of other tips...My DT has the individual serving bags of cashews, almonds and pistachios, those make for great in between meal snacks that I've kept in my desk and in a basket on my kitchen counter. The little press top nail polish remover bottles are great for liquid face wash and toners as well. It dispenses just the right amount.
My husbands diabetic and i found
These good snacks before lunch or dinner. Depending on our day..
We keep a black snack bag under his sear...so its easy and handie for him... hugs
This woman is incredible! So many money savings ideas, recipes, home decorating.....If Dollar Tree was smart, they would hire her as their National Spokesperson....! She is so likable, enthusiastic, attractive and super talented....!
Katherine, YOU are enough! I really appreciate all of your hacks and videos. You are the best!!
Watching from Australia and enjoying the novel ideas for everyday items. We don’t have Dollar Tree stores and the brand names but many similar items. Thanks so much!
I wonder if they ship overseas? However u have to buy many of the same things. Like 10 of this or 12 of that, not mix or match.
I like the new colors of bins! I’ll have to get some. Thanks for all the tips too!!!!💖✨👍
I will try the laundry pod to clean my sofas, brilliant, thank you🙏🏽🌺
Paper towel holder! That's genius
I've been buying the scissors and several of the other products for years. They were originally Betty Crocker brand and they recently changed to McCormick. Loving your life hacks.
I have a cutting board that slips, so I use a wet wash cloth underneath.😁 Great hacks & ideas, Kathryn! As always, thank you for sharing! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
I can’t get enough of these videos. You are amazing and I’m praying for your husband.
Yes, when eating Bugles they always had to go on the fingertips! "Look mom, I have long nails!" ;-)
Your videos make my day ☺️ thanks for being such a ray of sunshine!
I got the pump you used for lotion months ago and I love it! I use mine for face toner and want to get another for nail polish remover. 😊
If no one has told you today, “you are awesome!” Great video! Thank you!
THANK YOU for the ONION HACK!!! And the cute trash bag holder , etc!
Love watching your videos and hacks! I never thought about using a peeler on an onion. Great idea! Two of my favorite DT snack buys are Flipz and Craisins. I think I need some of those mint green baskets, too. 🤗
Obsessed as always!
You are Miss PERSONALITY !!!!!...love, love your ideas 😁
Love 💗 these! Thank you! Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️
Been buying the bread there along time, the pasta packets and rice are fabulous. My favorite are their kettle cooked chips.
The kids love the frozen pretzels in the air fryer and dipped into the Velveeta cheese sauce. The frozen cheese ravioli, vegetable spring rolls, and potato gnocchi are staples in our home.
We are being more mindful of purchases this year and doing a no buy, but I still had fun watching these. I have done the parmesan cheese lid on Mason jars for years! I tried one of those scalp scratchers, but they didn't work as well as some I got on Amazon for $3-4. Win some and lose some I guess! I did go into dollar tree the other day, even had stuff in my hands, then put them back and walked out with nothing. Such an amazing feat, so I'm super proud of myself! I guess I will just watch these videos sometimes to break up my minimalism and that will give me my DT fix without actually buying anything. 😅
