The Baltimore Ravens Keep Winning and Lamar Jackson Still Can't Catch A Break

What gives? Does he not fit the mold of a championship quarterback like the greats before him and the ones he plays with now?

Proud to love Lamar Jackson. I'm from Baltimore and no matter what the talking heads say Lamar is the best quarterback playing today.
Ravens fan here. Love the vibe and the message. Earlier today I watched a video that I think hit the nail on the head about why there's been outright collusion against Lamar in particular. It goes beyond the tone of his skin or his demeanor. It goes to the core of the NFL -- their pocketbooks.
Lamar didn't just not have an agent to negotiate his first big NFL contract. He didn't have an agent coming out of college! And the last thing the NFL wanted was for a trend to start where more and more players opted out of agents, who chew up their contracts. THAT'S why it's been imperative from the NFL's perspective to try to smear Lamar, and they've done nothing BUT smear him from day one.
Personally, I think Lamar derives a ton of strength from his mom and their great relationship. He's a strong man.
Baltimore is with Lamar. That's what matters. Family.

He’s going to always receive the hate because there’s a lot of type of people who live to hate, who will hate on players cause of how they look versus what they actually do. Peyton Manning got a pass every year until he finally got a chip and he never was called a regular season QB only. The funniest thing is I told people that when you compare Lamar with all the top QB’s his ceiling to grow is higher than any of them and the dude is about to get his 2nd mvp. He also was out there carrying squads like few until this yr they finally got him some weapons on the outside and some D.
They’ll say it was the D if they win it like someone on here already hinted. There’s people that even blamed him for being tackled on a safety by the referee.
Too many people (especially a certain type) make it about color and race trying to pretend they don’t see it. Well, if you (in general) don’t see color, race then how can you see racism and prejudice when it involves color, race.
I think Josh Allen is a baller but just using this as an example. You hear all these people defending Josh Allen who had some drops but also missed some plays but if you switched Lamar and Allen with them having the other’s same exact career with Allen 2-time mvp in Baltimore (presumably 2-time mvp) same exact playoff history he gets praised even more while Lamar in buffalo gets more disrespected by some of the same people that speak up for Allen.
The craziest thing is people still haven’t truly figured out why they stopped QB’s who could throw and run when they were allowing blacks to play. They used the excuse of decision-making etc when of course that wasn’t it, if so there would be no Fran Tarketon(?)

Does anyone realize how much garbage would have been avoided had the Browns drafted him instead of Mayfield? No 3 years of watching Greg Roman waste his talent, avoidance of the whole Deshaun Watson mess, the Browns killing it in every regular season game, Baker has success but elsewhere, possibly Baltimore.
The Ravens don't appreciate him & probably are working to lose to spite him. Meanwhile the Browns are one of the most QB-desperate teams still. After killing Hitler, that's the 2nd thing I'm using my time machine for, getting to Browns HQ & averting that disaster.
Well, I don't have already said that he's the greatest player I've seen. I don't need the white people to tell me that I don't need to wait for the answer in my heart, he is the best quarterback. That's why I became a ravens fan because a lot more jacks and what I saw what I saw in him. The first time I laid eyes on him. And he was playing to say he's he's gonna. It was said that he was immature (Gotttlieb) for including his mother in his decisionmaking team in his contract negotiations (Record breaking NFL contract).

How’s he on his way to his 2nd mvp and all he’s doing is getting better and better. He’s had success when they surrounded him with nothing and they didn’t have D. This is their first year he has outside weapons and defense not like some other qb’s who’ve had those things year in year out. A dude who isn’t “anything spectacular” is about to have his 2nd mvp which says a lot for not being anything spectacular yet he also makes throws at times that only the best can make. It has nothing to do with his game cause there’s no way you’re actually watching this dude or don’t know what you’re watching. There’s not really anyone that can control a game in the way he does and you can’t name any even if they’re better. Every Qb and football player is a play away but who talks like that if it’s just about football? You say that about Josh Allen too? Qb’s that can run and I guess you don’t realize there’s more and more coming have done their thing. Don’t you understand the real reason why they stopped black qb’s who could run and throw in a league black players were playing in? A QB who can do both, who can extend plays will always be more dangerous especially if the O-line is weak. Why would I bring this up?
