One more thing I would like to add..if you take emergency contraceptive pill while your ovulation has just occurred and you have had an unprotected intercourse then you can get pregnant..And chances are that it can be an ectopic pregnancy..There are doctors who wouldn't check this second possibility so please do proper tests to check that out or you can get into a serious life threatening situation..Telling from personal experience...And also try to avoid progesterone only birth control pills..
Thanks for sharing! The emergency contraception is less effective if it is taken while someone had unprotected intercourse while ovulating because it is designed to stop ovulation. If a person thinks they might be pregnant, they can take a home pregnancy test or go to a medical provider for a pregnancy test. Birth control is a method to prevent pregnancy and the type of birth control someone chooses depends on what works best for them.

This is going to sound like i'm victim blaming...but im not, its an actual serious question.. why are pro choice people fighting for abortion rights for rape and incest if the pregnancy can be avoided all together with the morning after pill ?
It’s could be hard for them to get it and it’s sadly not a 100% going to work so it may not work some also may not even be able for example they were kidnapped and can’t escape the only choice left if they don’t want a kid in the future would be abortion sadly this wouldn’t even be an issue if people were not monsters but we just can’t have decent people also they may not be able to take it due to drug interactions or a drug allergy hope this helped
Because it's not 100 percent. That's the whole point of being pro choice. It's never 100 percent and some women DO still get pregnant. Meaning that abortion should still be an option just in case
