  • This video is to demonstrate the build quality of new Honda City .
You can see the sheet metal strength is very weak for this car.
Hence be careful while parking and ensure a safe parking spot as you might see small dents not knowing their source.
The car has 5 star Asean Ncap rating , which means the car is build sturdy frame and chassis wise .
But to save fuel and to make car lighter , Honda has used very thin sheet metal which can be dented by thumb pressure itself.
You can also see how the roof of car handles coconut impact .

Bro, I understand your point on the sheet quality. But rest is assured right? The build qualit in the context of crash is good roght?

Yes , the door is heavy and there are videos of the car performing fine in crashes. Nowadays most cars have poor sheet metal quality.
There are other videos in my channel with few other problems , but I purchased when it was just launched , the models now seem to have fixed the issues.
It’s a great car otherwise , I have fixed most problems under warranty .You can go ahead with VX MT.

@@Francisreviews Thanks for your response brother. Se people tell rear seat experiece is boat like bcoz of soft suspension. Is it true?
And please mention any negatives. GC/?etc?
Your response helps me decide well. Please let me know.

@@johnnybravo9641 Rear seat is comfortable and the car has good suspension. I had steering rack issue and pedal noise , both were changed in warranty( in my other videos).
If you are looking for a sedan , I would prefer this over the Germans . City is reliable and has lesser cost of ownership. The biggest pro is the engine and smooth shifting. The car also feels light and easy to drive in the city.
And VX is the most vfm model , so good choice, if it’s a sedan you want to get , City is a great choice .

@@Francisreviews Yeah, be it CSUV or Sedan in this budget, I feel City VX is the most VFM.
Also, I have planned to upsize the tyres to 195/55/r16 right after buying.
Any GC issue with 5 passengers / full load bro?

Bmw merc volvo and audi has the best sheet quality which no one can match, this is coming from a person who works with these sheet metals, yeah all these 4 companies are having average sheet metal thickness of 2. And american cars like ford has average of 1.5 and Japanese cars like honda has average of 0.9 (toyota is different with 1.7)
