So I know you are more on a reanimator strategy however there are a few pieces that I think this deck would benefit from quite a lot while keeping the budget roughly the same.
I highly recommend the landcycling creatures from LOTR. Get you lands, and grow Coram.
Gravebreaker Lamia is entomb and reduced casting costs.
Malignus is gonna be bigger than Y&M.
Titanoth Rex goes to yard from hand for 2 mana, replaces itself with card draw, makes Coram’s power 11 and purs a trample counter on him.
    Kagha gives redundancy.
Lord Windgrace fills yards and returns lands.
Tortured Existence helps with accidental mills and/or tossing a high power creature to yard.
Filth, Brawn and Anger are also amazing with Buried Alive.
Underrealm Lich is crazy value with selection.
Nature’e Will makes it easier to cast stuff from yards post combat by untapping your lands!

The lack of brawn in this list surprises me.
I have a Coram list and one of the strongest starts I've had is going T3 Buried Alive for Anger, Brawn, Yargle, T4 Coram to hit someone for 18 commander damage.

The ideal t3 buried alive is anger, brawn/filth (depending on opponents), and Multani, Maro sorcerer. Instead of 18 commander damaged it’s very very very likely to kill a player. Malignus is the next choice. Both of these get better if Ignoble Heirarch is in play for exalted trigger

Can we get a disclaimer that these decks are just a starting point please, new players are often harmed by top heavy builds like these that can require a lot of mulliganing decisions that new players are just not going to make then have a horrible experiance

I think they mean A new to MTG player who just started and got this precon/builds this deck may not be able to pilot it in the way that experienced players can, or as intended in the video. So on paper and from what they're told, this deck is crazy. But in practice they won't be able to pull it off.

    • @decktechsfordecks
      @decktechsfordecks  Před 14 dny +11

Idk if I agree with that the more play time they put into the deck the more comfortable they will get with it. It’s always good to have a deck that allows the player to grow. It’s also worth noting this isn’t a Precon upgrade guide so I don’t have new players in mind while building this.

Oh one other thing I wanted to clarify because it’s new to me. Coram can see Lord of Extinctions power even when it’s in the graveyard? I thought for sure it counted as a 0/0 creature since it has the *s on it.

**/** are always calculated regardless of what zone the card is in. This is different than 0/0 creatures that say "gets +1/+1 for...", which do count as 0 power for Coram.
This is also different from 'X' in casting costs, which also count as 0 in the grave.
