Resurrecting the 335i with Cleaned Injectors! Will this fix the misfire??

In this video I install my cleaned and serviced BMW N54 Index 1 injectors. I had my injectors cleaned by Precisionline Fuel Injection in Kelowna B.C. This was the next step in attempting to resolve the misfire in my 2007 BMW 335i. I have already cleaned the intake valves and installed new spark plugs and coil packs.

I also have a 2007 335i E93 6 speed manual with red interior and grey exterior. Owned for only a year now and it has Index 1 injectors. Liked how your injectors worked out so will probably look at getting mine cleaned and tested in near future somewhere around here in Southeast United States. Thanks for your videos and channel! I will be looking for more 335i content.

It seems the index 1’s are decently constructed when compared to index 2-10. Hopefully yours clean up well!

You took a chance, glad it worked out! Most would of just replaced the faulty injector.$50 cleaned injector vs. $400 for a new one right?

It ended up being about $350 for the injector cleaning and shipping. The cleaning did help my problem but I had a persistent issue with cylinder five in particular. So I ended up buying a used index one injector off eBay and having a local shop code it after I installed it with fresh seals. Since then the car hasn’t had any misfires even after abusing it at a track day. I would still recommend cleaning injectors before replacing them because it improved the flow rates of the injectors overall but some problems (like mine) can’t be fixed just by cleaning.

You sure about those fuel lines? I was told 1-5 are the same and 6 is different?

See, I didn’t try and fit fuel lines to different ports. But I recall them looking unique in small ways. I wouldn’t want to mix them up just to find out the hard way
