We didn't even knew how emotionally drained she was. Struggling to get there but all she got was rejection from acting and music, I'm happy that she finally found herself.

She wasn’t necessarily “rejected” by record labels. In 2016, she signed with Big Machine Records (the same label as Taylor Swift), through which she released her debut singles “Boombox” and “La La”. A year later, Big Machine dropped all their pop singers (except for T Swift). Then, in 2017 or 2018 (can’t remember?), she signed with Warner Music group, but left the label because she thought it didn’t suit her preferences on what music she could release. Then, she made her own label called “Flip Phone Records”, through which she is releasing all her songs today.

Laura's new interview got me in tears, I know she likes to separate her professional life with her personal life but there are moments when we, her fans, need explications like this video. I'm glad she finally told us how she feels and express about her experiences. I wish her all the best, now she's an independent artist who is in control of her music, and I'm proud of her for this decision because it's not easy but she's gonna do this for her fans. I love her so much and I'm been waiting for this day and I'm scared for not giving the 100% but I promised I will do my best.

I’m beyond proud, excited, and happy for her. I have read a lot of comments where they say a singer is underrated and they made some real good songs but labels seem to think they have all the answers, and then control what is sent to radio places and played anytime. that is why singers of all genres now i think make videos of new songs, and post to youtube anytime, and find out they under new label or their own label to control what is posted, and when anytime. then u gotta get whole cd from a site they give u link to to get the song anytime.
