Year late, but I felt I'd pitch in. I like that I had to restart because then my choice wasn't undermined. I could say that was my legitimate ending instead of some non-canon joke because the game actually ended with my choice here. That said, I didn't know what the later endings were like and now would choose the (spoilers) "good" ending where you fight the Star, but still, this ending felt great at the time because to me it was my one chance at being the hero (again, at the time).

the thing is... while this is a 'peaceful' ending, you a. don't let the Voice out to see his daughter and b. don't stop the mothership. How long before she sends another Rider to take your place? you didn't save anybody. Just delayed the end a little longer and denied yourself the opportunity to prevent it.

@@Mczprosvids Keep in mind the rider was probably more skilled than the rest because of his fights with the jailers. He probably could have taken on at least a few of the other riders himself.

made it to this boss on furier and before getting on the platform I stopped in front of her and went to get a drink, when I came back a cutscene triggered where I stayed with her and I got a peaceful ending that I didn't know of so I was happy..... until I realized I had to start over from the beginning...
Glad I haven't done the same ;D i was curious though if it was possible to stay there.
I waited on purpose cause I thought something will happen, after a minute or so I just kept going cause I thought nothing would happen.

my fave is what we fight for. the buildup is really epic and the payoff is so worth it
I got stuck on a rock trying to walk around before triggering the fight. Didn't know it was an ending, but it saved me from having to restart. 10/10 best ending.

When I listen to the original mix and the remix...I could hardly tell this IS a remix. You're listening to a nine minute piece of two synthwave "movements" that flows and builds up the tension of boss fight (or action scenes in general) excellently.

"Coda" would be more appropriate than "remix". Because that's what it essentially is.
u know games can have the best graphics gameplay and all that but what rlly makes or breaks a game imo is the music and this game has amazing soundtracks

I HATED this fight, The Song only wanted you to stay with her, to talk and find out more about The Stranger, but because you turned your back on her to leave her prison she had no choice but to fight, AND to make matters worse The Stranger hesitated in killing her, ever since The Line I've started to feel sorry for the Jailers.
You could've just given up, you know? It's a different ending if you stay there with her.
I hated the fight for entirely different reason. I hated it because she's the one boss that I kept losing on over and over and over. lol

easiest boss to me, just if you are not organized, her last life can be a pain in the ass
haha all the bosses with tough bullet hell sections were the hard ones for me. Song and Line were the only bosses I died on. the melee bosses were no match for me though!

XD it goes to show you there are some that are good at melee and some good at bullet hells and there are a very few who are good at both that's what makes these bosses unique the bosses you struggled on some one else had an easy time on and vise versa.
