- Discover the top 15 attractions inside Wizarding World of Harry Potter Japan, one of the best themed areas at Universal Studios Osaka. If you're travelling to Osaka with kids (or without), this is undoubtedly, one of the park's most exciting highlights.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios deserves a video within itself because there is SO much magical stuff to do that'll make you never want to leave. Be prepared to have your childhood dreams fulfilled at USJ and enter the Hogwarts Castle on the 4D Forbidden Journey ride - fly on broomsticks, play quidditch and escape dementors.
A somewhat more family-friendly ride if you're visiting Universal Studios Japan with kids is the Flight of the Hippogriff where you'll be taken around the Forbidden Forest and Hagrid's Hut.
But, of course, a visit to the Universal Studios Japan Harry Potter wouldn't be complete without gulping down some butterbeer on the streets of Hogsmeade or inside the Three Broomsticks. Be sure to head out to the back for enchanting views of the Hogwarts Castle and the Black Lake.
Don't forget to pop into Zonko's for some magical sweet treats and Ollivander's to pick one of the many Wizarding World of Harry Potter wands for yourself.
In this video, we also dish out our best Wizarding World of Harry Potter tips to make the most out of your visit, the busiest times, and how to get on rides quickly.

Awesome video, providing insightful information where to make the most of the Wizarding World. Thanks for the tips.
Very useful vdo. Thanks a lot.
I think what we missed from our last visit to this Harry Potter - USJ is the Flight of the Hippogriff and the light show. The light show looks amazinggggg! 😍
Thanks for sharing the tips guys 👍🏻
The 4D ride looks really cool though!!
Does Sue like rides?
@@HangryByNature yup I do, or should I say I used to 😂 I'm a little more "chicken" these days as I age 😂 -Sue
is the general admission ticket for Universal studio enough to enter Wizarding World of Harry potter or we need to avail separate ticket ?
Love the Hogwarts castle 😍 and the night lights!
The detail is amazing and they made it so big. Couldn't believe it when we got there lol
I was just there in March the only area require area time entry was super Nintendo world.
I think both Universal Studios Orlando and Japan are good theme parks because I love Florida and Japan
We have never been to the one in Florida but would love to!
@@HangryByNature Yeah I’ve been to Florida
Omg buck list location! Looks like a blast!!
Lol like the swish and flick transition 😆🌟✨
Well if you ever find yourself In Florida you can probably check out universal Florida
The Forbidden Journey 4D ride is the best!!!!!! 😍😍😍
Wish we could ride more than once haha if the queue wasn’t crazy
We used fast pass for that 😁
I know what you mean, the queues grew so fast when we were there. Luckily we went straight there as soon as we entered. lol
This looks so fun and much different than the Universal in FL. We visited Diagon Alley at Universal studios. We made sure we had the Butterbeer also. This makes place makes it look that you are the Asian Harry Potter.
I think I’ll skip the vomit flavor. Gift shops is the favorite part of our oldest. So family friendly. We did miss out riding the Hogwarts Express. The Hogwart Castle is amazing. Love all the special effects that you incorporated within this video. Thanks for taking us along. Great tips.
its so immersive in there, it feels like your really are in the HP universe
How did u sneak that camera on the ride haha
😜
They have those chocolate frog at Ross for $5.99
Damm those wands are pricey! Never been into Harry Potter myself but this still looks like a pretty cool place to check out.
Is the the 4D ride like a roller coaster?😢 I’m scared
Not sure if you've been there already and this is a late reply, but nope, it's not exactly a roller coaster ride. You're strapped in to your seat, and the seat moves back and forth, up and down, with the views and scenes in front of you, complete with animatronics, and some cool effects like blowing air.
"Let's Wingardium leviosa out of here" 😆
Going next month!!
Quick question, is it scary? The rides
Harry Potter world is a happy place... would love to try some butter beer. Yo by the way what house are you guys? After doing the test twice each I'm ravenclaw. Yen is gryffindor. The wand selection place is soo cool. 5000 yen is friggin insane though imma cop a wand off the tree 😂
Andy here - I literally just did the test and I am GRYFFINDOR! follow in the footsteps of Harry Potter lol Tina says she is Gryffindor too but I really think she got Slytherin (hope she doesn't read this) 😂😂😂 It is pretty pricey lol both boys and Tina wanted it but it was too much 15k yen 🤑🤑🤑 ouch!
Butter beer is the best!! Also hahha where did u do the test lol
@@nickandhelmi I'll send you the link on WhatsApp ✌
is it okay to only experience but not buy the wand that chooses you?
Only 1 person from the group gets chosen at random for the chosen wand with olivander and they don't need to buy the wand. hope that helps. oh yeah and experience is free too.
Wait did u say hogsmead or was it supposed to be hogswart? 🧐 hmm maybe i need to brush up my harry pothead series
Hogsmead is the small town from the movies. lol Hogwarts is the school. Harry Potter movie marathon time!
Lmao! I legit just commented on your last video with "say it with me 'Wingardium leviosa'"😂😅. Did they have any fun effects happen when you held the wand? There are so many inappropriate joke moments in this video that made me chuckle quite a bit. I once got a small pack of the beans once...I was too afraid to eat em because of the vomit flavour 😂
hahaha you did too *high five*! Not when you held the wands, I wish it did though lol No way! me too with the pack of beans, or some other wierd flavors. 😂😂😂
I like low intensity rides.... my heart can't take so much surprises these days!
Andy can't go so hard as well lol heart is ok, it's his stomach 😷
@@HangryByNature ah ok, maybe no food before the rides!
if you do the single rider queue do you miss out on the room with paintings and the greenhouse
I think I did (not 100% sure what you're talking about) lol I ended up walking stright into the ride and off I went! lol
@@HangryByNature When i was typing i was thinking this makes no sense. the theming in the park looks so good that even when you are queuing it becomes part of the ride. here's a link czcams.com/video/4QhTvN9ngm0/video.html
What ride should I go to straight away when the gates open in the morning ???
Depends on what your into, but it would be between these one as they have some of the worst queues throughout the day; Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, The The Flying Dinosaur or Hollywood Dream Backdrop. Also check out the single rider queues as they are often shorter when it starts to get busier.
@@HangryByNature thanks and I read online about the timed entry to the wizarding World of Harry Potter area , what does that mean??
That is dependant on how busy it is when you go. It's to help regulate the flow of park visitors to the Harry Potter area due to its high popularity. You need to grab a ticket which i think is near the front of the HP area and that advices the time of your entry. You'll need to double check the location of the ticket distributor on the USJ website or google BUT like I said, if you go during a quieter time then they don't have the timed entry. Quiter time would be during weekday and not on holiday times.
At the end of this vid below has some tips you might find useful on USJ.

@@HangryByNature thanks so much 😍😍
Ok so the cheapo wand store is better for no queue haha
like peter said, grab a stick from the bush 😂😂
Dude i cannot handle all the 4d rides there, i get motion sickness and i wanna puke 🤢 , helmi is fine though
Andy is the same haha you guys can sit out while Helmi and I take on the rides! Looks after the kids 😂😂
First!!!!! 😆😆😆
hahaha congrats! you beat nick!!
😅
But if you don't speak Japanese why go?
