Of George's post-Beatles releases I'm most fond of Blow Away. It kind of sums him up in terms of sound, feel, and his attitude of all being a part of the whole. It's very sweet, and I don't think angst is always necessary.

Great choice! Blow Away is one of those songs that always puts me in a positive mood and reminds me of what really matters. Thanks for sharing Frank, and thanks for watching!

Here I was thinking I was alone in this, until I saw the comment below. My favorite Harrisson tune period is Blow Away. It is one of the few songs that still brings back the sweetness of youth that is otherwise lost to me.

It's great to see that people appreciate "Blow Away." I feel it sometimes gets overlooked but it is still one of my all time favorites. Thanks for watching!

Lots of love for Blow Away here, I’ll throw my hat in the ring as well. Best single of the yacht rock era!

Yes, one of the great songs off of "All Things Must Pass." I really enjoyed the alternate take that was recently released too. Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing!

An anemic list, at best. George had a number of very good songs, not as many as John, and far fewer than Paul, but a fair number, considering he helped change music from the bathos of the early '60s, to the Rock 'n' Roll that replaced it, in the later 'Sixties, and in the 'Seventies. You skipped his best, completely (look at my Top Ten), and celebrated some lesser lights. Beware of Darkness is his best composition, post-Beatles, and the version on Concert for Bangla-Desh the best of all.

Great list, thanks for sharing your Top 50! The list in the video are not my favorite George songs, they are the singles that reached the highest positions in the Billboard Hot 100. Thanks for watching and sharing!

@@7bestthings I figured it was something like that, when I saw the songs. George was never a Top 40 artist, even as a Beatle. His stuff was too brooding, too introspective, to fit in with the spun sugar confections that captured the attentions of record buyers in the 'Sixties (and, today).
