Cool but since the update you can easily find weapons on the train or by looting (if you find the keys). I play solo most the time and the only reason I lose my insured weapon is getting killed by the other team of 3 that like to camp at exfils. D bag move but unfortunately it happens. Though a couple times I got lucky and when a team of 3 tried to ambush me it back fired and I killed all 3 by myself took their loot and exfil'd. So gratifying and not to mention taking their insured weapons lol
I wish people were a bit more friendly these days.

Found this out this morning by accident. Was running to Exfil helo and somehow my gun dropped while running. Went back and picked it up, extracted and saw that the insured weapon was duped and had no idea why. So it still works, apparently.
Been doing this for about a week, I did it on accident a few times at first then figured out what I did to make it happen. Good vid.

Just place it in slot 2 all the time and if you die there is no cool down. Just make sure you only go into the game with one weapon in slot two.
Who wants to go in with only one weapon? You need a sniper and a secondary to have a fighting chance.
Do a video on being stuck in the buy station. If they drive a four-wheeler near it they can enter the vehicle n get out

Also by doing that when you die you're insured doesn't go on cooldown. So you can go right back in with your insured as long as you keep it in the second slot.

Put in second slot, spawn in and drop it straight away and pick back up, no need to wait till you're about to exfil
I found out that with the cool down time on 1 hr, i play with my favorite gun non stop. Whats also great is, if you exfil with success, you get one extra ex M13B.

@@flipmemax When i exfil with success, and startet the match with a M13B, i have two in my arsenal. Then if i lose a game, i still can load out with my second M13B.
I’ve duped a lot of weapons this way. But I found that they always lose one attachment when you bring the contraband version back in. My SPX loses the suppressor, my hemlock loses the barrel. My friends all experience the same thing.
Also if you die all the way it turns into contraband weapon to been doing it since s2
before season 2 you could just dropp the gun on the ground and pick it up and it would become contraband without waiting or anything not sure if it still works

So if you equip an insured to the second slot and nothing at all in the first slot, you keep your insured weapon even if you die or drop it

I’m trying to tag 3 enemy choppers with trackers and people are so toxic they don’t help and even if you down one and tell them they can get a revive once they get up they shoot at you
Haha, yeah. Didn't know exactly how it worked but I had figured out to equip my insured into my second slot. My contraband is full of converted contraband weapons.

All the people telling us we just need to put insured weapons in secondary slot because we never lose it are missing the point. You can now duplicate other weapons to use as your primary and it won’t bother you because you know how to regain them. Now we can all go in with a decent load out! Thanks for the video 🙏

I was messing around today and found that you can do the same thing but infil with a contraband gun in your backpack. That way you can bring 2 guns in and still duplicate your insured weapon.
And also keep your insured if you die
You can even do it if you put a second weapon but in your backpack stowed and it should work
So how did you come in with it in your secondary slot and it magically spawn in your primary
Its bugged, its not actually in primary
Most duplicates drop an attachment ive found. Always thebmag in the case of my AR, barrel on my sniper etc. Its annoying. Plus with a max of 3 hours to cool down and wait for all 3 slots, id rather just wait. But can be handy for the likes of jokr's and riot shields etc..

U can allso equip your insured weapon to your second slot and if u die, you will still have your insured slot/weapon, no cool down. With those 2 glitches you will allways have your weapon.

As long as you drop your weapon you’re good! You can play the game and pick up other guns and exfil with contrabands you will still duplicate..

I have done this and now have 4 insure weapons in my contraband. They will probably patch this but I'm going to try and do thus 4-5 more times to have like 9. Cause it sucks when you die and loose your insured weapon.
How do you have the revive pistol from the start to take in with you?
You can infil with it if you exfil with it😜

Lol I accidentally did this some how and realized it if this bug was that easy to do that an idiot like me could accidentally do this the dev team is surely in alpha mode even though at times I would lose my secondary if it is my insured weapon so in that case I only had to exfil with full backpack (weapon wise)

Problem I have is the game is glitched to where if I have a weapon in my second slot, I don’t load in with it. Also, any blueprints I save get locked and I can’t select them.
Can you customise your weapons and bring them out to your insured slot? I had these issues in S1 what I did was I had to master reset my playstation to default and download the game again it was the only way I could fix it tried everything

Pretty sure you only have to load in with it in your second slot then drop it when you get in game. Afterwards it doesn’t matter (based on the video I haven’t done it yet myself)
Yeah just equip it in 2ndary, drop it, pick it up and exfil. Doesnt matter if its in primary or 2ndary after u dropped it

Bro I have been doing this for at least 2 weeks!!! My contraband weapons are all my manes,AR,LMG SNIPER, AND PISTOLS.
u can keep your principal weapon if put in secondary slot. Even if you die. Not necesary exfil 🙂 its cool

One thing I don't understand about this video, you equipped your insured weapon in the secondary slot, but when you tossed it, you tossed it from the primary slot, when did it go from secondary to primary? I ask because when I equip the secondary slot, that is where I toss it from, and that is where it goes back to, I just find it rather peculiar the way it plays out in your video.
It was bugged, happened to insured weapons all the time when they were equipped to secondary but primary was empty. This glitch has been patched btw

When I run a duplicated sniper contraband and any other contraband I lose 1 attachment on each weapon ?

Yep it’s been happening since the beginning of season two that’s why I can’t do this trick because every time I drop it I lose an attachment. Sometimes when I switch weapons it drops the attachment. I love this game but it’s bug city. I mean I could still do the trick and I just have one less attachment but still it’s annoying.

Do u use any special skin or emblem for gun? Because before i used special skins and later guns appear without 1 attachment, so now i only use standard skin like black colour and nothing lose from my weapon.
@@realsmash5043 I put a gun screen and I did what you said with the sniper in the backpack and I kept all the attachments. The gun screen is not working I don't know if that had anything to do with it working or not
If you put your insured weapon in the second weapon slot,when you die you don't lose it at the moment,don't know how long it will last till its patched though
You have to leave slot 1 empty for this to work

I’m confused. You placed the weapon in the second slot but when you opened your load out in game to drop the weapon it was in the first slot? You didn’t drop it from your second so what happened between the infil and you being in the water. What did you cut from the vid?
Mine does that sometimes to. It will still work. Most of the time it is in the second slot when you load in.
I cut nothing from the video, only the loading screen. It's bugged
Any weapon you pick up when you have none goes into the primary spot. Easy as that.
@@flipmemax did what you did and all it did was make the weapon contraband. It didn’t duplicate but hey it’s still a 5 dot ISO hemlock for the stash. Today I will mostly be filling my contraband with KVs and ISOs lol

When I try to enter with my insured weapon it despawns at the start of the game and I don't get it and it puts my insured slot on cooldown
Put it in the 2nd slot (secondary) and carry no other weapon in with you. It will always be there.

Yes i had it too, have a big backpack, spawned in and only fist with no backpack or lvl 3 chestplate, next round i have the big backpack and the lvl 3 chestplate back.

Yeah, there is a bug where it does not spawn blueprints. One way around is to put the same attachments on the base version of the gun and then equip it.
Top Tip: If you go out with your insured weapon in slot 2, and leave slot 1 empty, you will never lose your insured weapon even if you die.
I tried that didn’t work for me. Do you need to never pick up a weapon during the game for that to work?

All of my “cloned” weapons seem to come back with only 4 out of 5 parts on the gun. All seem to be missing the magazine on my taq56. Anyone else experience that? This is when I go in with just the taq56 in 2nd slot. Very weird

Yeah noticed the same thing yesterday, my mcpr300 was missing an attachment + the tuning was gone too I think
What makes dmz fun amd playable is the insured slot. Fun trying out different weapons and customizing them. Enjoyed season 2 a lot more because of the shorter cooldowns and already had 3 slots b4 the start of season 2. This glitch has been well known for quite a while now and noticed teams / players have been getting more aggressive as there is less risk of losing everything.

Make sure your first slot is empty when you start the game. Equip your insured weapon in second slot. Works this way.

Actually many people think its killable but you can still self revive for that to be on top of exfil chopper especially the front one, do kill inside although im getting down and drop myself to the ground to get revived
Yeah, if you jump on the nose of the heli to shoot through the cockpit window now you also get thrown off when the heli moves forward.

I think I have done that by accident because sometimes my insured weapon comes out as contraband and I still have my sniper ready to go even if I loose the match. Not that I care to duplicate. To me it defeats the purpose of going into the game and winning guns the hard way 💀

well it's not useless iff you have 3 insured slots from season one and rock 3 weapons for most versatility (chimera/raal/victus)
@@Beebo2311 Well if you like playing solo it's probably impossible to open the 3 insured slots. Many players are useless or get you killed so I prefer playing solo.

Of course it works it was one of my ideas to keep your insured slot make sure you put it in your secondary slot dropping in the game and if you die you will not lose your insured slot you have unlimited insured slot you got to make sure you put your insured slot in your secondary slot which is closest to your smoke grenades which is your tacticals if you do it that way and you died in DMZ you will not lose your insured spot but like I said you have to drop it from your secondary slide soon as you get into the game drop your weapon pick it back up and then go pick up another weapon and then you will not lose your insured slot
