A lot of these tips have not been revealed before including maps for spawns, hidden weapon cache's, with tips how to get a FREE LTV and more to help you in DMZ from beginners to expert operators within Call of Duty DMZ this guide should help.

More fun tips: dropping plates on the ground before interacting with an armor box gets you 6 plates.[EDIT:it is confirmed that six plates are given regardless] In an addition to cars and trucks, you can also use a heli to make a speedy get-a-way with a hostage. You can join another squad after being downed. You can also revive your squad mates if they died before you joined another squad. A raid stash can be looted by you and your whole squad if you access it at the same time, each getting a full stash of loot. Tires can be repaired. Carrying smokes in your bag are very useful for clutch rezzes hail mary's to the exfil chopper and for general cover. Carrying recon drones in your bag can get you the drop on exfil and roof campers. Always bring one to an exfil. You can stow your weapon to run faster. Carrying extra stims can save your life.
Even more fun tips (you did a great job covering most): You can drop ammo from guns or even the recon drone to have multiple with ammo boxes for the same effect. Car batteries fill up the electric hummer. The last mission for Legion Tier 4 'Poisoned Well' (Gas Grenades in Zarqwa) has linked water pockets, so you can complete it all underwater without versing the heavies/jugg. Pathfinder mission is free $3000 for everyone by visiting the dumpster, Perfection (Raid weapon stash with no body dmg) only applies to the person with the quest so the teammates can take as much body damage. Same thing can be applied to Hunting Party (5 PMC hunt contracts without dying). Still many walking through wall glitches including; Fortress, Quarry and docks. Airport has some of the best loot that isn't behind locked doors. You can exfil successfully if you are in the revive state on the hele. You can exfil on the sides or roof. You can exfil with enemy squads. You can plea for help after dying then rejoin your team. When downed, you can use the majority of your self-revive then cancel it, so the revive only takes a fraction of the time without using the self-revive (doesnt work with pistol as you can't cancel it). Also when downed, you can drive at your teammate to push them away to safety. Max squad size is 6. You can place trophy systems on cars to destroy incoming semtex's. In Building21, you can exfil the RLG Grenade launcher which you can take into DMZ.
I dont understand the tip about the armor box. You mean you drop the armor box, then drop ALL your plates, and only then interact with it and get 6 plates instead of 3?
Basically, if you interact with an armor box without any armor plates on you, you get 6?

You mean i should hold the button until the circle is almost full and then let go and get self-revived without using the kit??
@@adarwinterdror7245 yep. You can only get six plates from an armor box if you have no plates in your carrier and you dont have any plates on your person. Edit: they changed it. Now you get six plates regardless. FYI

Question: how can you call for help after you are liked?
Neat trick with hostages. If you use a recon drone you can see the hostage location in the building as well as the enemies inside. You can't mark them since they are inside, but you can figure out the best point of entry for the contract. Only had to kill one guard earlier and never alerted the rest of the building and just jumped off the balcony where the hostage was on the third floor. Quickest rescue I've ever done.
Snap shots works great too
If u go round the buildings near the mission launcher you will see doors that are locked.... One or the doors will be open, 1 waits by hostage while others start it and instant defuse
I like the action and heat.
Still beating them in 2 mins is difficult for some houses. Hard to find the house before.
If a stronghold or hostage building has windows you can see through, even if they have bars on them, you can shoot the bots and they won't shoot you back. It's a good way to get rid of the pesky shield bots. Do this before you unlock the door.
Easy tiers. Wait till u get tier 5 you will stop playing dmz. Those bots are annoying af! I stop playing dmz after I hit tiers 5. Those bots match your level when you reach that tier. Those who suck at battle royal enjoy dmz just killing bots all day. Lol

You don't need the 302 key, go to the roof and jump through the ceiling window. So long as it's not a stronghold, it's open. Great place to gear early if you're coming in naked and you have the close spawn.
I just included it because 'technically' you need it, but I have another video on this trick, I have a feeling they MAY patch it as I don't think getting in through the roof was intended
Just for a reminder, you don’t need the key for room 302, you can access the building from the roof. Also they patched dropping guns to teammates, if you drop your gun and don’t exfil with it, it goes on cooldown.
Yeah but you can still stock up some contrabands for later, I have two insured slots at the moment so can do 2 at a time and can get guns back quick doing Dead Drop method, not as good as it was previous but still easy enough to stack up on some contrabands for later.

Its not about your insured gun, its anout giving our teammate contraband
You will still need a key if they make it a stronghold or contract building. My guess is it will be patched soon or later as it is a mission area.
@@HyperXgamingadda i think a lot people already have stop playing dmz those who hit tier 5. Those bots gets annoying after you reach that level.
I found the cave being a great place to farm keys, I normally find 3-7 keys in there and it's open without needing any keys, I just bring a sniper with me and pick off the guards methodically. If I have time I'll do a hvt or commander helo mixed in with checking the buy stations

You can self res yourself too 99% if in a safe location being one tap of a button away from a revive for your buddy and you keep your self res.
The 1 minute contracts can also very easily be done by going for a hvt in downtown. You can just run him over with a car or rush the building he's in, the guards are usually near but not in the same room
I haven't seen anyone say this one, there is a tower in-between the locked hotel and the cemetery, you can jump from the top to the roof of the hotel with out fighting anyone surrounding it.
You can use snapshot grenades too on any building stronghold or hostage and shoot majority enemies through the walls. I do it alot on small strongholds and hostage contracts.
Contracts under a min, if you randomly come across HVT don't kill, check for contract on map, have a buddy go start then kill right after start. I did in 10 seconds.
You can also turn your own insured weapon into contraband if you have med/lrg backpack. Kill AI with insured, stow your insured, swap the weapon ai dropped with your insured(stow) 4x, kill at least 1 ai after doing that with insured weapon. When you exfil it will be contraband. You can use as much as you want after stow/swapping but you must use at least once.

I've been trying to figure out how to do this for so long because there are times when I exfil and my insurance gun becomes contraband and other times where it doesn't and he used to be able to just exfil with it in your backpack which doesn't work anymore. Thanks for the tips the only way I found it working is if you let AI kill you completely and then your partner comes in clears out the AI revives you and you pick your gun back up
@@dubzy8334 when dmz first came out if you dropped insured and picked back up it became contraband. After that stopped I had been dropping my guns to a mule account and dropping them back to myself next game. As of today I saw you can just str8 up dupe your insured and not have to lose your insured slot. I haven't tested yet but requires 2 ppl. Loadout: ONLY bring insured gun in primary slot(MUST BE PRIMARY) lethal:anything you can kill yourself with. Ammo box.
Spawn in throw lethal/tactical drop ammo
Use box kill self with regained lethals.
You must bleed out.
Have buddy check your backpack(if you have ammo box in there still ur good to go, buddy doesn't need to take anything from. You but ammo box in bag means it should be working) have buddy revive you. Notice your insured should have moved to your secondary slot from primary without you moving it. If so, DO NOT pick up any other weapons in dmz. Exfil. When you load back at menu you will have insured weapon in primary and contraband dupe in 2ndary. Still have insured slot.
Edit: I did this 5x today just like stated, can confirm this works.
Ah I forgot to add. Shoot your first ammo box b4 using 2nd. Shoot 2nd before you kill self.
Edit: you can skip ammo box after sum testing. Simply have insured in primary slot, down self, bleed out, get revived, weapon goes to slot 2, exfil. You *can* take another weapon(stow it in menus, pull out in game) just remember to stow it and put one to be duped in primary before death. This 2 weapon way is a lil wonky and you may dupe the other weapon on accident.
There is also another solo way to dupe without losing insuredbut it has more steps and is a bit risky and possibly disappointing if don't get timing down.
After you hit tier 5 you will likely stop playing dmz. Unless you like bots that much and get owned by operators randomly.

Map issues: Left most Port spawn is wrong, they moved it closer to the ship in-between the containers, have never seen the spawn right of the 'marshlands' word, theirs also a new spawn north of port along the waterfront.
Key issues: You don't need 302 Room key, there are skylights on the roof as long as it isn't a stronghold. It's also called 'CH7 Editorial Department Key' not TV Station, as there is a CH7 Secure Records Room as well.
You know Fish's have terrible memories right lol? I know the 302 room key have another video on it, should have put a '*' on it as technically you need it but if they patch the roof you'll definitely need it. The map I've been told there's been a few changes. The marshlands spawn is deffo legit I've had it, but only a few times.
@@MrFishyMcFish I've been looking for the updated spawn map, but haven't yet found that anyone fixed it yet. It was changed several weeks ago. The Port spawns were awful before for instance.

I’ll be honest I’ve watched a lot of “DMZ Tips & Tricks videos” and they all repeat the same garbage but this is the first one I’ve seen in a while that gave me 3 tips in 1 video I didn’t know, thank you. I’ll have to hit up the Mr Fishy page when I get home as I DID burn my Poppy key without knowing I needed it lol. 👍🏻

You can get in the Sa'id City Mall without a key. Go to the multi-storey car park beside it, go to the top floor where there is a bridge over to the mall, climb onto the roof of the mall, drop down into the mall.
I believe you can also enter the Control Tower without a key as well but you need to parachute into the corrugated metal covering the windows at the very top.

3:39 - There’s also a SUPER easy way to make your Insured weapons contraband.. All you need is a medium backpack.. Load into the game with your insured weapon and also a contraband weapon, Drop the contraband weapon, Put your insured weapon into your backpack, Hit Stow 4 times. That’s it. You can use your “insured” weapon before and after doing this.
I ONLY say this because my thought is, eventually we all lose our Insured slot. So why not just restart the timer instantly? This allowing you to have a Contraband stash of your OWN weapons! So if you do lose your insured slot, well you have a stash of weapons you built / tuned and enjoy using!
Personally I like doing this because unless your going around killing real players, the Contraband weapons aren’t that great.. IMO.
Some may OR may not not think this is useful… but I just wanted to throw this out there. I assume I can’t be the only one who would enjoy this.
You can hit stow 2 times instead of 4 just FYI. I just always do it 4 times to make sure. But it does work with hitting stow twice.
That defeats the whole challenge of having an insured slot
@@ReBoRnXGolden Well kinda, yeah. Since I have 2 insured slots I just keep few extra of my personal Sniper builds in there. I only have 10 slots for contraband weapons since most will say I’m a “loser” for not buying MW2 since I only downloaded it to play Warzone 2.0 with a friend and ended up liking DMZ over Warzone.
I didn’t even know you could make your insured weapon a contraband until a week or two after the game came out, I did it by mistake one game and when I got my insured slot back I tried to figure out what I did since at the time, I had 1 insured slot.

I use the basic 762 without atachments to kill trio and then i teabag on them.. the gun is powerfull enough and spray pattern is soo easy
I also do this but the problem is it keeps deleting 1 attachment everytime I finish stowing 4 times. So my original 5 attachment weapons will only have 4 after doing the method, I've already tried it more than 10 times and the only weapons that won't lose their attachments are the blueprint weapons like 'Mortals Bane'.
3:01 - So Today… I tried to put plates on while carrying the hostage to the exfil I was running for a good 60-70 seconds without seeing the “Drop Hostage” and I tried to apply plates. It worked. Then it pulled my AR out with one hand after applying all of my plates!
I tried it a 2nd time and no such luck.. but I tried to apply the plates the second I picked up the hostage. I dropped him back down, picked him up, started going outside from a 3 story building and once I was outside , not seeing “Drop Hostage” for that time period, it allowed me to once again apply plates then pulled my AR out one handed.
I did this about 5 times today. So I’m not 100 percent sure how I managed to pull this off.. I am working on it tonight to narrow it down and figure out exactly what needs to happen for this to work. I just wanted to tell you/ anyone else seeing this comment so y’all can try it and see what happens.
I love running a pistol but I havnt been recently since I leveled up all of them so now I’m trying to max out others.
Once I know exactly what to do, I’ll come back here and up date my comment!

Swap weapons as u pickup the hostage usually allows u to use any gun while carrying hosyagr

For me it pulled out my rifle while I was being shot by AI. Not sure about the plate trick or swapping weapons. But I do know at least for me while I was being shot by the AI while carrying the hostage it had let me use my AR
I didn't know doing 2 of the Secure Intel contracts caused the heli to spawn.
I was doing the mission where you needed to Secure Intel and kill a Commander, and got super confused when one didn't spawn. Ended up killing a Juggernaut to complete it but still nice to know considering they drop Building 21 cards.

Also the Poppy Farm,Crane Control, and Cave mission you cant do those missions in pieces like some. If you don't do it all in one run majority time it's gonna say its complete then when you get to main menu show its in complete because you done the missions in pieces. I had to redo cave one even though I done it 2 rounds all the steps it said complete I done all 3 objectives 2 rounds exfilled yet the piece I did first round when exfilling round 2 showed unchecked even though I done it already. Some these missions will bug if you don't do them all one deployment.
Another tip with the hostage: if you have a hostage mission, remember to plate up instatnly with the desired primary weapon. It will let you equip whatever weapon you wanted. (Also reloads at the same pace of it)
I always do this and shoot down the bots, if you have a sidearm it is enabled by default.
Right off the bat, your spawn map is out of date, they moved several of the ones that were close together and had line of sight on each other, back in the season 1 reloaded patch 3 weeks ago.
Second - just a small detail, but the LTV you get from the delivery missions is slower than the ones you get from a buy station.
I actually appreciate the feedback on this and wasn't aware they'd moved any spawns, does anyone have an updated version I could link to? I also didn't know the LTV was slower than one you buy (although the advantage of having one right off the rip of a match is a pretty good benefit IMO)
I don't think this is entirely true. The west spawn by the water you can immediately spawn snipe to the south at Port. literally just did it lol
@@lordfinesse2806 They 100% moved a couple of them, the ones over at Hafid Port they moved from out on the jetty to in between the shipping crates, and the one you could see immediately from there is now further north on the coast. Couple of the others it seems like they no longer spawn people at both spots every match like they used to.
Faction Mussion wise these keys are important to save for all tier levels Al Bagra Underground(Recommend getting alot ) its harder to do then it use to be,Poppy Farm,Crane Control Room, Post Office,Embassy, and Kushack Construction. I might missed one or two but should be majority them. I'm still trying to solo Breaking And Entering almost done it other night lol didn't realize security locks have to be done in certain order and have to be done to open box lol.
Yeah i missed off some on my list I realized, but I know the Poppy Farm, Crane Control Room + TV Station are the rarest to find if you burn them lol
Yesterday, we startet a game with two duos at the same time over the same network and we ended up at the same map, really nice ! :D :D

Seems like sniper is a must because the AI rarely drops em.
It's done this to me as well and it's only the white lotus mission have then active and exfiled 3 different and didn't get the white lotus mission but it's showing mission completed I didn't even have active
White lotus seems bugged, very rarely droos

We tried the bring your freinds gun in and drop it method last night, we got a contraband version but lost our indured weapon.

Yeah you have to do it a few times to get a library of guns, I would recommend doing the dead drop method next game to get you insured weapon back quick

Very useful tips. But we do need to find (or create) an updated map showing the DMZ spawn locations. They had patched several of them (including Port) several weeks before this video.

I LIVE in al Mazrah and didn't even know some of these things!
When you get to the Tier 4 Faction which i think is White Lotus you'll have to choose between the Bryson or 556 Iccarus one. Do Bryson not only is reward better its easier. The 556 100+ kills are hard to do and when I done them they weren't counting. You can take the Bryson with Vulture Claw and 8 Inch Barrel into Building 21 get it done easy. You can down players with any gun then melee the players and each one will count as a kill and towards 3 melee kills. You just have to melee them with Bryson. I realized meleeing a down player does count you don't have to down the player with the Bryson just after there down. Yet shotguns are nerfed and weak no matter the attachments in building 21 there useless your gonna waste time so its best getting kills that way.I got alot last night doing it this way. Just melee them with shotgun for the 30 kills with barrel portion too. I put 8 rounds in some people when they were down it didn't kill them using explosive ammo even the melee is guaranteed quick kill when there down.
Another goood tip imo (currently a glitch that has been working for a while now): When you drop any field upgrade (e. g. AMMO BOX) in DMZ, then go to your inventory and "drop" the non existent field upgrade you drop a 2nd field upgrade on the floor which you then can pick up and have a 2nd AMMO BOX for example. I believe this works with any field upgrade at the moment. 🙂

The Sawah Hotel key you can bypass by get on the roof and jump tru the roof window and open the door from the inside.
Yep, just included it in case they ever patch it.
I believe all keys can drop from HVTs. You have to farm them, a lot, but it's an option. I don't think the game is designed in a way so that if you die with your key accidentally you're just screwed.
The only key that doesent drop in Al Mazarah is the black keycard for building 21 unless you find it on player. I see people bringing Al Maharah keys into building 21. As far as the Poppy and Crane mission keys they drop and spawn everywhere. I kept 2 keys of all mission keys in case friends ever needed help on them.
If you're trying to shoot down the commander helo and can turn on a SAM site, it will shoot it down for you.

Sometimes the deliver cargo contract LTV is slower and doesn’t have a gun.
There's two cargo contracts, I wonder if that's the difference, will have a look.

A useful tip me and a friend found out was that you can instakill the juggernaut with a proximity mine. Happened to us just yesterday so should still work??

We can squad up later if you want
Go for the Hostage contract, it's guaranteed. Or pick an exfill far away (this one depends on luck) and make sure to take a vehicle. Stay in the vehicle till the last second then get on the chopper.
If you see a green flare above the smoke do not approach. The flare shows a team is already there.
Really useful tip: if you have a building 21 access card, as of last time I tried do not put it in your inventory, keep it in key stash and you can go into building 21 without it taking your key. Could be patched.

Its never taken mine away. I've never needed the card inside building 21. All the doors can be opened without it. I've opened every single door without it. Even the DRC 21 marked doors none my teammates had it either. It might be a bug they didn't fix im assuming originally the card was suppose to be required to access the DRC 21 doors. Yet you can open them without it. Unless its allowing you to do this just having one in inventory outside game and not suppose to be.

that is NOT all of the spawn points, I know of at least one thats not listed.. think about it... if you play DMZ surely you remember sometimes you spawn and the train is passing by right as youre preparing to move, and if you run as fast as you can you cannot catch the train by about 10 yards.. it passes you by, but you can keep running to the ammo depot so its still a good move.. so it cant be the one at the edge over there because the buidings are in front of you, but when you spawn and see the train you are about halfway to the closest green mark which I think may also be accurate sometimes because it seems like I remember at least back in the beginning when the game first came out that you would spawn around where that mark is... which begs the question do they move around in the smaller areas as well......
They have adjusted a few since the map was made (map is a bit old) but there aren't many new ones / adjustments. I'm working on sourcing a more up to date map.

I actually have it too, I might not have time at the moment but could probably run you through it at somepoint.
I have to comment on your t5 mission in under 1 min. It’s not that complicated once you do enough of the same contract to understand where the game will send you. See a destroy supplies contract in Rohan? 1 of the supplies will ALWAYS be on the tracks, either right by the train station or further down towards the outskirts of Rohan. You can clear out the enemies defending the supplies, then start the contract once all the AI are dead. With two people, you can easily start and complete that contract in 30 seconds. Nearly every single zone has at most 5 locations where the supplies can spawn, so it’s pretty easy to fly through these missions once you learn the supplies spawns. It’s also worth noting that the safes that it reveals also work this way. Safe spawns aren’t random. So if you find a safe, make sure you take a mental note of its location so you can check the area next game. I always check the warehouse next to the Rohan Oil outskirts deaddrop, and the tent base south of Rohan that’s split in two by the train tracks is a place that can spawn two safes.
You can also just roam around looking for HVTs in the wild and kill them. It completes the contract without having to start it at all.

@@MrFishyMcFish safe spawns aren’t guarenteed, but they aren’t random. I kinda suspect it’s a seed based algorithm, and you can probably determine which safes are in your game based on exfil location. I haven’t tested this theory, but I have a feeling there’s an easy way to tell
Somebody already calculated last exfill so I'm sure you could calculate it
dmz trick: u can pick up riot shields off bots if u kill them with thermites but it has to be an instant pick up

Just wanted to put this somewhere I'm pretty sure the golden gs is cursed I've done it 5 times, 1st my teammates let me die and took it, 2nd time my teammate went afk and died the other died trying to get on the train (not shot like fell off the side), 3rd time I lagged out in front of the exfil, then solo I died to a shotgun AI across the field waiting to exfil, 5th time I got to the exfil killed everyone and the helicopter landed on me while trying to grab a plate....!!!!!!!!!!
One thing to note on the golden deagle mission. DO NOT stow the deagle in a medium or large backpack. People have stated that the mission is glitched and they have not gotten credit for it even when exfilling with it. The gun must be picked up as a primary or secondary and exfilled without it being stowed for credit. Would hate to see ya finally exfill with it and not get the credit for doing so.

Yeah it's tough I found mine in a garage believe it or not just lying on a work bench. Building 21 has a lot of rare loot, I would hunt there and always do supply crates, shoot down the commander etc

I think you can make your own duplicates as long as you have a medium or large backpack. Simply exfil with your build in the backpack slot.
This may prove easier than convincing your friend to waste his insured slot on building your weapon.
Also, 1 self revive in the dead drop = 20 minutes.
6 self revives per weapon slot if all are at the maximum time until being usable again.
Does anybody know of an app that lets you message friends that you have on Activision that play on different systems? I play on PS4 and a few of my friends are on Xbox and PC. I would like to be able to send them instant messages so I can send them links to videos like this to learn from so we can all be on the same page the next time we play

I think that North port spawn has been moved to just across the water near Quarry now. You could be instantly sniped by people at the spawn to the right, and I've noticed the last couple of weeks I've been spawning on the shoreline just north of that pier instead.
The only thing I learned is how to do the 5 missions for Legion tier 5. Good tips tho. I just play too much.
Hey I promised at least learning one thing lol, and yeah people who have powered their way through might not find as many tips useful that's for sure.

Why carry a pistol when you can just pick up the hostage with your main weapon in your hands and then once the hostage is picked up plate up and pull out your gun at the same time you’ll be able to carry hostage and use any gun

that spawn maps pretty outdatted. theyve moved the spawns a few times since launch so that you cant just immediately shit on another team without ever moving like you could at port.
I heard this, but haven't seen anything official on it, if you have an updated map would be great to share, if not will see if I can find one for a future video!
They moved the north port spawn behind cargo crates a lil to west. If you move like 2 inches forward or just peek left side of crate you can still spawn snipe the exact same spawn. Also the 2 spawns near shipwreck southeast of saweh are cancer. The one closer to villa has a huge advantage over one by saweh as there is literally no cover unless can make to tents filled with bots b4 being spawn sniper. Also the spawn above Tariq can easily be spawn sniper from spawn just east of river above fire station. They may have moved the spawns a lil but it changed nothing.

They added a few spawns too, but there are still alot of them that are very easy to get sniped in by others that barely have to move to see you. They one above hospital by quarry/Rohan can be seen very quickly from spawn by sattiq caves. There's more but those instantly come to mind. Also the middlish spawn of the al mazrah spawns(far northeast) spawns with 2-3 bots literally 2 feet from you nd a big ol mob a house or 2 towards freeway...and it has been getting heavily rushed by spawns from police academy in games I've been in recently.
They changed some of the spawn point from the ones on your map

You need to switch to tap to reload, I play on prioritise interact and have to change settings to loot any drop or a player pleading for help.

You will be able to get them from random drops but it might take a while might be easiesr to find people who still have them and squad up

@@atomgrav6861 i mean to be honest i would absolutely love a co-op DMZ without PVP to do some of the missions coz they are way to hard for solo players and the fact that so many players can ruin your progress over and over again kind of sucks... the bots are already a pain in the ass for casual players...

so wrong about the safes being the only thing possible to do under a minute. HVT is actually the easiest by far. you just rush the building and take him down ignoring everyone else. can be done in 20 seconds. sure, if you muck around and try to kill all the bots it will take longer but usually just rush him with a squad of 3 and its all over WELL under a minute

Dude, the very first thing you show is a Spawn Map that hasn’t been active for over 7 days… this Vid is only 1 day old?
*this was the only bit that was inaccurate, the rest does favours!
So from what I'm told they adjusted the spawn points millimeters, approx location is the same for pretty much all of them. Still waiting to see if there is an updated one I can show and if there is I'll post it on the community tab.
