Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) and Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) meet Wichita (Emma Stone) and her little sister Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) in a grocery store. The younger sister has been bitten and Wichita asks if she can take Tallahassee’s gun to kill her sister before she turns into a zombie.

I never realized until now that him propping the door open was not only completely pointless, since the door was unlocked and wont lock them in, but also would make it easier for zombies to get in in the first place.

Well it is quicker and easier to run through a door that is propped open, than a door that is completely closed, and might even be locked. Especially when being chased by zombies. That extra few seconds grabbing and turning the door handle and opening the door could be the difference between life and death. So without checking whether it was locked or not, they could've ran straight into a locked door. Also its just as bad leaving the door closed and then just blindly charging through it when being chased, there could be a 100 zombie the other side. At least if the doors open you can see what's on the other side and whether its safe to run through. Actually makes perfect sense. Plus its just giving you an example of rule 22, nothing to take too serious. It is a comedy after all.

And they continued the whole movie with emma now part of the crew holding that secret in, for some really good twist later in the movie

@@AffluentTales Well she better stab herself too, because it was her and her sister who came up with the stupid plan, as far as blame goes it would go her, then her sister, then Tallahassee comes in way way way later for actually being the trigger man, even though he is basically innocent too, Wichita is completely blameless.

Am I the only one that was bothered with him throwing away reusable weapons like a bat or a hedge clippers? They still work and lots of zombies are still out there. How could he have survived this long by doing such stupid things?…..

This movie was funnier than it had any right to be, Zombies and comedy....GOLD
The only zombie-comedy movie I like more is Shaun of the Dead, which Ruben Fleischer said inspired him to make this one. But the way Tal waved off the shotgun and pulled out the sheers is one of my favorite moments in the whole flick.
It had every right to be funny and it had a great cast. Namely Woody, he owned this.

My first time watching this I was about ready to break down into tears, they fully convinced me that this zombie comedy turned real dark real quick

0:13 when i first watched this movie, i thought "there's no way a banjo could do this much damage"
then i became a music nerd and tried out a banjo. thing weighed like 9 pounds had metal on it and felt surprisingly durable.

It may be in this scenario it has to be blood contact from a bite or cut. Ammo is limited so you have to save it for when you need it.

@@hardwirecars It's somewhat only. There is a limitation into it. Some are safe, some do after years. Also not all can packings are made to last forever. I can see there are ample foods in there without this packaging..
@@meettheravi ive seen a guy on youtube that eats old ww2 maybe (im probably wrong) ww1 mre's or c rations they are over 70 years old and he does it all the time im fairly sure as long as the cans are not bulged out indicating air has gotten in they are safe to eat.

I actually preffer how they treat the kid situation here.
Usually in zombie movies it's a big freak out, and I'm guessing most people, like me, find those annoying by now.
The way Tallahassee just quickly says what's happening and not to freakout the kid is way more believeable than the freakouts and break downs you'd see in zombie series.
Thank god she's saved in the matter of nanoseconds cuz talahasi pull the trigger much faster than bullet leave the barrel😂😂

The first things that people look for in any kind of crisis, tsunamis, earthquakes, wars, pandemia, etc, it's products! In reality, this store should be empty, specially in a theorycall zombie apocalypse where everybody fight for survive and there is no police, no army, just a lawless state, so everybody will rob to survive.
And these guys wouldn't trust anybody, if they are experienced, they would think twice about the story of these people.
