It's a comedy and it's a joke but still... too much. Absurd humor demands good execution to work.
I hooked up with a girl for a few months in Atlanta. She said she went to burning man or one of those other festivals similar to it. Said she brought plenty of food, alcohol, water, etc. for her and her friends for more than just a couple of days. Said people asked for stuff, she was nice enough to give away stuff to people, and said they never even said thank you or were grateful for getting free shit. Said she ran out of stuff in the first day. This is why communes don't work with free loaders, everyone has to put in work. This is why these types of people will always die off in a world-ending situation.
I am really suprised that it lasted for a day. I won't ask if she had drugs, is pretty obvious the answer. 😅

It’s so amusing how Little Rock grew up into a chain smoking waitress from Little Rock.
I like that these guys also call her Little Rock. Even though they probably don't follow the same naming scheme as Tallahasee, she still chose not to tell them her real name.
Little rock become such an insufferable character in the sequel.
2:13 The one problem I have with this movie is how the narration is used to explain how the characters are feeling all of the time. A little bit of this in certain places is okay when it's just the narrators feelings being given a little more depth, they did this just right in the first movie. However there are two moments in Double Tap where (in my opinion) they go too far, this is the first one. They could have just kept that little smile, no narration, and then skipped to Tallahassee deciding to leave. Maybe a short, heartfelt scene with him and Columbus, where they could put the 'call of the buffalo' line. That would have perfectly shown what was happening. The second moment was the ending narration, where Columbus explains the movie's main them, home. I thought that the theme of the movie was shown of perfectly through the character arcs. I'm not sure why this is where I draw the line, but this really bothered me when I first watched the movie. Sorry, this turned into more of a rant then I intended.

Parts of this act were filmed in Embry Hills GA just north of Mercer University. I went and picked up some equipment after they did some filming there. I've also seen the "Beast" and "Big Fat Death" monster truck while they were about to get ready for the "Graceland" scenes.
Unfortunately I was a few days before they shot the scenes and didn't get to see anything, about like with every location I've been to.
