Again... no hate to this woman she was very nice but clearly misinformed about nutrition. The ONLY difference between the two is quick oats are cut into smaller pieces lol

You’re the misinformed one, oats are not good for you
@@elbowman9213🙄 where’s your fitness channel buddy
@@elbowman9213it's better than over processed corn and wheat cereals. What's your idea of something that's good for you?
@@slimrod115bro a better meal would be eggs and some fruits.
The unsolicited poor advice typically comes from overweight, unhealthy individuals unfortunately. At least to me
It's easier than losing the weight 😂
Same my dad would do this
because theyre aware theyre unhealthy and therefore vulnerable to misleading health advice -- desparate people can attach themselves to anything
Are you overweight then? I am not and give proper advice. This influence is just hating on some for being right.
@@yannik1679 you can hear in her voice she is overweight.
Walking up to a jacked dude who is obviously in great shape and then telling them what they should eat is diabolical
That's funny 😁
I had a fat out of shape woman who was in her 20s but looked 50 pull me up for the same thing in a grocery store, I was trying to be kind but I wanted to roast her so bad😭
What if he was fat and the woman was in shape but the conversation went the same way? Her being jacked wouldn't make her any more correct.

"the quick oats have the processed food"
this is how my grandparents talk. they drink wine and eat sweets on a daily bases. BUT OH MY GOD, EGS AND BEEF ARE GONNA GIVE ME COLESTHEROL!!
I don't even sympathize with people who think like this anymore. the information is there, they just refuse to actually learn
Same here, my grandma is always drinking Mountain Dew and eating unhealthy southern food, but I pull out some strawberries “ThOse ARe FiLLeD WiTh ToO MaNY BaD PeSTiCIdeS”
my grandma loves diet coke yet was shocked that i eat 4 eggs daily because “that’s a lot of cholesterol” and she is kind of overweight/ has health issues
News flash bro. We're all like this. Not just old people. The majority of us thinks the rest of the world should live like we do. It's a dangerous mindset, but we're just people.
Some were raised old fashioned. Some are really trying to change. But they come from a different time. Be easy on em either way. They aren't all the way their most of the time.
Maybe actually learn from them. They know more even though they don't follow their own advice
It’s hilarious how someone with a cart full of processed food, who is older, and clearly overweight, can look at this guy in his tank top with them guns out thinking he needs to hear your advice that you’re clearly not following yourself 😂
Just bc someone has muscles does not necessarily mean they’re healthy. But yeah, she had no room to talk tbh.

Oh goodness . Team quick oats represent
Don’t cut up your chicken breast! It’ll make it unhealthy
For anyone wondering, steel-cut and rolled oats havr lower glycemic index, around 55, while quick cook oats are around 83, so they spike ur glucose faster, for some people this is not preferred.
Because its ground my guy, ofc its gonna be more effectively used by the body when its ground 😭
Thanks. I forget about the glycemic index and diabetics. She probably has diabetes.
Yeah and then shits take twice as long to consume because it’s all fiber. You literally have to process the fiber by chewing it. I just take the quick oats and blend that shit and drink it. I ain’t got time to be chewing some grain like livestock. I’m a red blooded American gorsh dang it!

Right?!?! People talk out their arse soooo much nowadays and blab stuff thats blatantly wrong
People are also hung up on the amount of sodium in foods and they will care about that more than macros/overall calories
Micros do matter more than macros
@@masterbaiters1183 micros matter but that doesn’t mean the answer is to hyper fixate on minimizing sodium in an already unhealthy diet
@@nevadahuvenaars true… sodium is just one micronutrient but it seems like people fixate on it because of its perceived connections to certain cancers, blood pressure and other heart issues and because it’s right on the nutrition label

@@RobertHall-ef8yf for overall health… People fixate way too much on the macros and a select few perceived to be problematic micros (like sodium) rather than on their actual health…
The vast majority of people are deficient in at least 1 but most often more micronutrients and that plays a big factor in deteriorating with age, mood, energy and illnesses
Isn’t it crazy that when people perceive you as “in shape” or “fit” they feel they are able to comment on your eating habits or physical appearance as if nothing. Happens to me quite a bit! Glad you stood your ground brother 👏 💪

How about we just read the ingredients on items and do research if we aren’t sure. That’s some food for thought.
this is something I constantly don’t understand. I had a guy in gnc once splitting hair over which milk to use skim or almond. then he was comparing the carbs in one protein to another .. a very overweight guy. I told him genuinely this isn’t the best place to try to get picky over a gram or two of carbs or which milk type is best. it’s the overall diet daily intake what matters.
He’s right about uncooked vs old fashioned being the same
I just read an abstract about the stunting chemicals they use to keep the oats from overgrowing and being easier to harvest, and it looks like high amounts of oats could be bad for you from the residual chemicals in the oats
Which actually means the quick oats are better for you since they’ve been cooked once already
Exactly! My family tells me “that’s too much food for me” or “what you eat is not good” but they will eat snacks for breakfast and lunch. I eat chicken and eggs for breakfast, 3.5 oz. Turkey burner for lunch, a balance dinner and a healthy snack. 💪🙌😊
I dont take health or fitness advice from anyone who doesn't look healthier or more fit than me.
She might’ve just been trying to give u some advice based on something she saw on the internet. Even though she doesn’t live that lifestyle, she might’ve still been trying to share some information she thought u might find useful (:
Sometimes you gotta take the high road let her go bud, good stuff 🤙
tbh I have similar experiences she honestly just wanted to speak with you and get your attention haha. And she got it so she won
I love this. So many people say thing like that but ignore everything else that is a little bit synthetic in their own lives such as food furniture, and even the phone case they touch at least twice every day.
She’s not wrong. Better oats are One degree oats from costco. They are organic, glyphosate free, and much healthier. If she has a bunch of different junk foods in her cart then she shouldn’t be hypocritical though.
She is wrong. How does cutting oats more make them worse
Just because it's organic doesn't mean it's 100% glyphosate free. Keep paying extra to get duped by big brother.
@@Lonewolf_1776 nah bro it’s worth it. These I mentioned are glyphosate free.

Agreed. As long as I can identify each ingredient, it’s good for me. I’m not worried about preservatives or any of that kind of stuff and have had better luck losing weight than any single person I know.
Casey grilled this lady💀💀💀🔥🔥
People have different levels of knowledge she seemed to be genuinely kind tho
Stay away from anything labelled a "detox". Your healthy, functioning liver does all the detoxing for you. Give your liver the nutrition it needs to do its job.
love how relatable this clip is lmao
Casey you are so incredibly knowledgeable and so good at what you do with regards to fitness, working out and a good healthy diet and lifestyle . Such a handsome guy too . Trust your word on everything fitness and healthy lifestyle and healthy living ❤❤😊😊
She's right though lol. Quick oats digest faster and cause a higher insulin spike. She said the old fashioned ones are best... which are better for sustained insulin release.
Cooking your food is processing it. What matters is the added ingredients and preservatives.
The water out of your tap is processed and so are the oats she’s eating. Nearly everything is processed to some extent. It’s the additives that are the problem. He mentioned “it’s one ingredient”. He’s right on point. The less ingredients in one particular product, the better.
I remember when a dude judged me for drinking diet soda while he was smoking a cigarette 😂
The funniest thing is when someone you don’t want to be like gives you advice 😂
Props to dude for being nice
Looking huge Casey 🤑
I peed my pants. You're too funny.
Quick oats do have a higher glycemic index. Similar to how blended fruit is worse than whole fruit.
Next 56 days of some dude on insta tryna sell this poor lady their program and a fad diet 💀 everyone is a Vshred these days unfortunately
All the fear mongering from some influencers has skewed people’s brain. Also, processed is one of those words that encompasses a lot but people treat it as if it’s automatically a bad thing. Peeling something could be considered processed.
Gagged her honestly 😂
Americans, hahaha. I was today years old when I learned oats being healthy is controversial 😂😂
What's important is that your body has all the different colors in the vegetable realm. Are there different colors build up your immune system. If you want to be extremely healthy that's the realm that you want to become extremely focused on plant medicine.
Individually packaged flavored quick oats may not be too healthy. Rolled vs old fashioned vs steel cut are not bad at all imo
The only time you have to worry about going into a detox is if your kidneys or liver have failed. Or for rehab.
Bro processed just means it’s less from its natural form. Cutting an apple is processing it be definition. So she’s making a big deal cuz quick oats are labeled as processed cuz they’re cut so they cook faster
The ending made me laugh 😂😂😂
As a brother In Christ this isn’t how we should act brother. I say this in love not hate ✝️🙏🏻💪🏻
I know exactly what quick oats are but I was so confused by what this lady meant like which I knew was wrong. Even google searched to find it still just oats "processed" doesn't always mean it has added junk to it
The whole oats are better and better tasting in my opinion. As I eat them for a breakfast meal for health thats important. Not stressing just being careful to make it all count

I don’t know about you guys but the first thing I thought about was that clip of one of the Tren twins saying, “Have you seen my f*cking bicep” 😂
Not sure why hate on quick oats. Although I prefer normal old fashioned oats.
Quick oats have lower levels of micronutrients that occur due to the processing
@@masterbaiters1183the only processed thing about them is that they are extra refined than normal old fashioned oats

I do the old fashioned rolled oats… but only because they taste better imo. I keep quick oats packets around though in a pinch.
She’s not wrong
I’d like to see what some of y’all eat if you think quick oats are really that bad for you
Bro can talk big alone in front of the camera, but talking to someone irl he is a scared little boy 😂
Are quick oats actually better for you because when they stem then it removes the toxic outer shell on the oats? Better for you and your stomach
she’s not wrong… organic whole versions of anything is better than the processed versions
Shes right.
Technically even apples that have been washed are “processed” 😆🤷♂️
I’m actually trying a organic/ all natural small ingredient list diet. It’s harddd
Go animal based. Meat fruit milk and honey
Preach!
She’s right, quick oats are not a health food
But I don't have a whole cart of processed foods. So I would still recommend you to eat the less processed oats. Also why are you cooking them? You don't have to worry about the cooking time if you don't cook them in the first place.
I mean she has a point. Being fit and healthy are two completely different things.
Oats been giving 50 years ago only to horses as food.
They are so cheap in production and are mostly damaged in the quality pesticides and so on.
Don’t get me wrong. There are way worse food like complete processed food. But the old lady is quite right. Oats are also processed and not that healthy like everyone thinks
U guys don't need to hate on her, much less bodyshame her when u didnt even see her. Like casy said she was just misinformed and like someone else commented she probably just wanted to make conversation and wasnt trying to be as condescending as she came off
It happens to me ALL the time when I go to Sam’s Club (here in PR🇵🇷 a single Costco all over the island and it looks good far from my house) 🏠 and it always happens to me that elderly people with morbid obesity go crazy when they see me with two boxes 📦 big eggs 🥚
"more processed" yeah they're just steamed longer and rolled thinner. that's it. they're still real oats just like the old fashioned ones. they're just broken up into smaller pieces that cook faster.
It’s always the ones with boxed and packaged items with a million processed ingredients that talk 😅
I don't think I would dare try and give nutrition information to someone who looks like you. I'd be afraid to even say hi.

I have this problem happen to me all the time, I'm not as big as the guy in the video, but I have folks who are overweight, eat junk foods, don't watch what they eat, or all of the above, always try to tell me what I should do with my body. I wonder how they think like this, can someone please explain it because it's been going on for a while and it aches my head everytime.
Quick oats or old fashioned oats it doesn’t matter as far as nutrition goes, it’s more of a preference.
It doesn't help that everyone says conflicting things on whats good and bad which makes it so difficult on finding what really works.
I thought she was going to say steel cut are better, old fashioned are virtually the same thing. I really wonder what was in her cart🤔
This video reminded me of the same style of Brian Tyler cohen

It's not "unhealthy" or "healthy" in binary fashion. It's more like "less healthy" and "healthier." It's a scale. Quick oats is healthier than Eggos for breakfast. It's more accurate to say they are of lesser quality than a top brand steel cut oat.
Only thing that matters is cal on vs cal out
i dont even acknowledge those type of people as humans in my life
