I have a 2013 legend 2 burner with original burners. after 11 years I decided it was time to change out burners. Much to my surprise only one seemed to be damaged but did the change out anyway. At the same time gave it a through cleaning and the Grill work jus like the day I purchased it. Bought the burners directly from Napoleon and the sear plats came with the burners. For 100$ I got a new Grill. Your video made it look very simple and I followed your instructions. Screws were a little rusted but worked fine. By the way Napoleon included new screws with the purchase. Awsome service very pleased. Canada.
Thanks for the video. Any idea how to get the burner to light up when turning the knob doesn't work right? I hear it click like it's trying to ignite but nothing happens. I usually just use a lighter but know that's not the optimal way to light my grill.
Nice video, I was looking at a new Napoleon Grill and now they come with lifetime warranty on the tube burners. The problem that I see is exactly what you are showing in your video which is that the burners are held on with fasteners which rust. Also the new Napoleons have an aluminum pan so I might not be able to just drill a larger hole. I'm guessing your pan is stainless since it looks like it uses sheet metal screws.
No matter what, you can always hold the burner with a small bolt and if needed a couple of washers. Buy all stainless from your local hardware store so as to ease removal next time.
If they just keep spinning they are probably stripped…..hopefully you can get a pair of vice grips on the bolts and pull them out. Worst case a grinder to cut the heads off and red till the holes. Good luck and thanks for watching.
The head just broke off the screw when I took my burner tube off. Called Napoleon, and they're sending me a few new screws. I tried and tried to explain that the body of the screw is sticking out, won't turn with pliers, and I can't push it through the hole to get it out of the way. They kept insisting that once I get the new screw, it'll push the old one out. Which makes absolutely zero sense. If it's so corroded that I can't turn it or push it, how on earth is turning a new screw (which has no accessible threads to grab) going to push out a corroded screw? Very frustrated.
I'd drill the old screw out. I'm not sure what's on the other side, but if it's possible to get a knot on a bolt from the other side, that's what I would do.

You should be able to just pull it out with a set of pliers and then just use a bigger screw for the new burner. Thanks for watching!

Any suggestion , I see flames at the burner end when i ignite. and then goes away after a while and burner works normal. thanks
It sounds like a normal start up with the flame. Just inspect the burner for any cracks. Thanks for watching!
Hello Mr fix - what tool is that you are using to unscrew the burner ?
I believe it was a phillips head but sometimes they could be hex.

Have you tried using pliers? Saw it off then drill?
@@69ztang Yes to the pliers. If I saw it off then drill, which is likely what it'll take, it'll probably destroy the inner threads.

you shouldn't have to buy any new burners as Napoleon are guaranteed for life. Just call them and they will send you out a new burner
You should check with Napoleon for warranty information but be warned the burners are not 100% covered for life. Thanks for watching!
