Microsoft just sent an email stating that the Dev Channel will be receiving early development builds soon that may be less stable. My recommendation is to choose the Beta channel for Windows 11 if you plan to install the insider previews at this time.

an a gigabyte motherboard it is such a struggle to get the secureboot and if u have it u need to reset your bios to default again once u have 11 so irecomend to stay at windows 10 for a while
Hey, good video but 2 questions! I meet the requirements so I won't be forced to change to Windows 10 after Windows 11's official release but if I want to change back should I do the backup image thing, right? Also does the drive used for backup image need to be empty?
You may be able to revert back to the previous version through the menu but the backup image is a guaranty in case you go too long before trying to do a restore. It's the safer option. Otherwise you may be forced to do a clean install and recover all your data.
Okay, thanks a lot I'm using windows 11 right now!
Great! The backup image can go on a drive with other data too.
Cheers mate
Since the xp64 drivers are available in the site that manufactured for my MB. I would prefer to have the option of installing that OS for a home user. Corporate computers can use all the Win 11 features that I don't need, or want.
Win11 I've also been using for about a month but all the fun stuff from win 10 is not there. It reminds me of win 8 where many things that took 1 click on win 7 now requires 2 clicks. annoying. I miss my tiles and too many features that I use everyday.
I installed Windows 11 last night & i really like it & so far so good i have no issues at the moment i liked Windows 10 as well but i will not be rolling back too Windows 10 only if i have any major problems, I will be keeping Windows 11, I have installed a couple of Windows 11 updates.
Great video....
Great video, I'm going to try to download it on my new gaming/CAD laptop.
Damn so you actually need a graphics card or would a cpu with integrated/discrete graphics be okay ?
As long as the graphics meets the minimum requirements it will work. Needs to be DirectX 12.
For some reason I am not able to turn on optional diagnostic data, it says some of the settings may be changed by your organization. I have a personal msi gf65 laptop. Can anyone help me
You may have a corporate license for Windows. That means the settings are controlled by the admin.
@@SeleTraining I had a genuine copy of windows, but I looked it up and I have fixed it now, I was able to get windows 11
Is there any hope that surface studio can upgrade. I've heard the beta can be downloaded but that when the final version releases returning to 10 will be necessary
The only hope at this point is if Microsoft changes the requirements to allow many older computers to run Windows 11.
Hi. If I install the Windows 11 beta build, will I need to do a fresh installation once the stable one comes out?
You can switch to the final release when it comes out if you meet the requirements. No need for a reinstall. If your PC doesn’t meet the requirements you will be forced back to Windows 10.
Please does the windows 11 Beta version have restriction on some apps? I don't want to upgrade and have issues with some of my Apps.
No restrictions. Everything I am using has been working great!
bruh it doesnt work it says my settings need attention then when i click restart now it just keeps on repeating the same thing and not working
I want to do this... it is safe? I mean i have all my my files and important things on my pc, i know Windows 11 isn't as unstable as windows 10 was in its beta version, but i don't want to have a high risk. Would you still recommend me to do it? My files won't be at risk? Thank you for such useful video!
I’ve been using it for a month. No issues for me. Just do the backup image if you are concerned so that you can restore it if needed.

31 comments but not much for emails. Most people don’t email often relative to videos.
Does all your files and programs get transferred on Windows 11 or do we have to reinstall?
All your files and programs will transfer.
i already have it, yay.
could not do it because the message says "whynotwin11.exe was blocked because it can harm your device", what should i do? any other sites where i can download the said file? thanks for sharing this info.
It should give you the option to install anyway. No issues with that exe file.
Damn bro great video and man you could seriously read books and make audio books lol could put me to sleep
I have been using Windows 11 via the Dev Insider Channel since immediately following June 24th. It is beautiful, extremely impressive and a brilliant design with fantastic performance and functionality. A wonderfully appealing extreme example of form & function in a perfectly harmonious marriage. It is absolutely worth moving to Windows 11. It is just SO capable AND SO enjoyable to use❗
I've found it to be the same. No reason to stick with Windows 10 in my opinion unless your system can't run it.
@@SeleTraining Mine cannot, so... in the Fall it will become my "Spare Box" and become a physical Insider machine and my IB will no longer be a VM. AND, I will build a (new) Win11 machine.
Hi @Sele Training: CPU Compatibility: Not Currently listed as Compatible.. Can you elaborate more on this..
Microsoft requires a certain level of CPU as well as the other requirements. Here is the current list: www.pcguide.com/windows-11/guide/cpu-compatibility-list/
Good show
I did everything as you did but , when i check updates its says that everything updated, and it doesnot downloading windows 11 , HELP

Unless Microsoft changes the requirements you’ll have to stay with Windows 10 or plan to upgrade your computer.
I have a legit copy of Windows 10 pro and I will install the Windows 11 preview. This means that once it arrives officially, my copy will update on its on and I do not need to do anything.

Speaking of windows is there a way to number rename several files at once. I copy several pdf files from email and paste in specific folder. How I can number and put my initial along with the original name of the file. Example 0000120.pdf, 000150.pdf. I want to rename as 1 - 000120.pdf, 2 - 000150.pdf and so forth or (1) or (1) HA - 0000120. Daily it's about 70 files to paste in folder. I think it's unnecessary all these item numbers next to the original name of the file, because we can see how many files are in the folder on the bottom of the screen. But somebody asked me to put 1 - or (1) next to the files. I think it's stupid and time consuming.
I have pc has everything but the tpm 2 thing should i download win 11?
As mentioned in the video you can download but if you don't have TPM 2.0 when Windows 11 is released you will be forced back to Windows 10. That's unless Microsoft drops the requirement. So make a backup image in case.
When I saw Windows 11 I said "Hell this is modern"
Dad: I DONT WANT WINDOWS 11 I WANT WINDOWS 7
Me: I’m Using Windows 11
bruh lol
I lost a lot of (hidden) functionality when Win7 was dropped.
I hate Windows 10. It's a disaster when I try to tweak the settings in the control panel. I can only IMAGINE how convoluted it will be in Win 11.
Ohhh, *joy*. 🙄
what if i want to get windows 11 now and i dont want to be booted back to windows 10 if i have unsupported hardware ?
You can do that only if your PC meets the minimum requirements. If it does then you can load Windows 11 and once the release comes out you can change from the Beta channel back to regular Windows.
🙌🏻
do we lose data?
So my laptop is fully compatible with Windows 11 but how compatible is Windows 11 with games?
It's pretty good based on the comments. Some have said they are getting better FPS with Windows 11 and one of the major improvements in Windows 11 is the focus on gaming.
Hey, i have a question. I really like windows 11, but i have unsupported hardware. I know the workarounds tho, and I'm gonna install it by using the appraiserres.dll workaround. I have a slight worry tho. Will I be able to update Windows 11 if my PC is not supported? You know, i don't want to be stuck with 1 single build of windows for the entire lifespan of my PC 🤣
That's the challenge. If your PC doesn't meet the requirements you will be forced back to Windows 10 once Windows 11 is released. That is one reason I mention in the video to make a backup image so you don't have to do a clean install. Hopefully, Microsoft will continue to relax some of the requirements.
Maybe my laptop haven't TPM chip. How i can inistall windows 11. can you help me
The video explains everything. You can install Windows 11 without TPM but may be forced back to Windows 10 when the final version is released. Otherwise you’ll have to upgrade the hardware.
Does it retain your files or it does a clean install?
It will retain your files.
n my pc 4 boxes are red so should i dowload it or not please tell
If it allows the install it will work but as mentioned in the video you will be forced to reinstall Windows 10 once WIndows 11 is released due to the lack of requirements. Make a backup image as shown so that you can recover it instead of a clean install. It you are missing many of the minimum requirement you'll need to upgrade your computer to run Windows 11 eventually.
My pc only has release preview:C
So with all my computer is up to spec's, do I still need to do the beta one cause that's what I did
You can do Beta but now that Windows 11 is out you can stop the insider program and it will update to the final version once you are eligible.
@@SeleTraining ok thank you

You have to be connected to the Internet and if you have a business or student account the options are controlled by the admin. It may be turned off.
@@SeleTraining i am using Ethernet
I had windows 11 but my dell support assist wouldn't update and I need that so I had to go back to windows 10.
Thanks for the info. Hopefully they will be fixed in a newer update.
And will i lose all my downloads games files if I upgrade/update?
No loss of data or apps.
Will this make it susceptible to viruses because it's before the official release ?
No. In fact Windows 11 is better prepared to handle viruses than Windows 10, even in the beta version. Although, you can install Windows 11 beta without meeting the minimum system requirement of TPM 2.0 and secure boot which is less secure than than when those features are installed.
so how much resource is win 11 going to need?
It appears to be about the same resource utilization as Windows 10 but you can see the minimum requirement is 4GB or RAM.
There up to something with this windows 11 i have trust issues
Hii sir! I'm successfully installed windows 11 in my laptop💖
Great 👍
i installed windows 11 and then went back to windows 10 but still i am getting windows 11 preview builds even though i left insider program. how to stop it
If you know you want to stay with Windows 10 then you can turn off the updates in Windows updates. However, here is some more information about the roll back options: www.tomshardware.com/how-to/uninstall-windows-11
my system meets the requirements, so if i update it now will it reset my data when the official release comes out?
No, you can switch to the final release without losing data.
@@SeleTraining what if i set my insider settings to unenroll my account when the next update comes out
Well i am a lunix user and want to switch to windows is there a way i cant create an ISO?
The iso is available from the insider preview site.
@@SeleTraining ok thanks
Set up 11 on a spare laptop and has none of their hardware requirements and works fine. So why are they imposing these requirements if they are unneeded?
Mainly for added security. They say it reduces hacks by 60% which can be significant for millions of people.
Can we install official windows 11 by leaving from windows insider program (preview builds)
Yes, the best way to do it is go to Settings-Windows Update-Windows Insider Program and select the option to Stop getting preview builds. Turn that setting on and it will switch from the insider preview to the full Windows 11 release as soon as you are eligible for the download.
@@SeleTraining after turning on that setting.how can change the laptop to official windows 11
You just check for new updates. When you have access to Windows 11 it will install automatically.
I tried ti install it, but it says that my cpu is not capble
So, m I able to install windows 11?
You can install the insider preview version but you won't be able to run it in the final release.
I have a question sir can I have window 7 for ryze 3 ??
Windows 7 no problem. Do you mean Windows 11? Windows 11 will intall on just about anything with the beta version but when the final release comes out it's going to have to meet the minimum system requirements. Those are pretty high.
@@SeleTraining .. YES I WANT WINDOW 7 OS FOR RYZE 3 IF I WOULD HAVE WINS 7 ... FOR A FIXED RRFORMAT ..
Thank you for the tutorial! Quick question though, how does it compare to windows 10 in terms of performance?
Mine seams to run about the same. I’ve heard it does use more memory so if you have minimal amount of RAM you may see some slowness.
@@SeleTraining Ah alright, thanks for the help!
if you switch do you keep al your files and games
Installing the insider preview keeps all your data but just be aware that if your computer does not meet the minimum requirements then you could be forced to do a clean install of Windows 10 later. Make a backup image as shown in the video.

my question is does it come with all the bloatware windows 10 has

16GB DDR4 3200
MSI X470 Gaming plus
480GB Corsair xp510 NVME drive
XFX RX5700XT THICC III Ultta
Also that new start menu is horrible to use and the right click menu is bloody horrible.
Lots of things that are easy to do are far from easy to do in windows 11.
I'll try to stay on windoes 10 as long as possible
i dont have tpm green, is that a problem or do i need it
You can install Windows 11 without TPM with the insider preview but Microsoft intends to require TPM in the final release of Windows 11 so far. If you still don't meet those requirements when the final is released you'll be forced to do a clean install of Windows 10. That is one reason you should do the backup image as shown in the video if you don't meet the requirements. Then you can restore Windows 10 later instead of doing a clean install.
Does all your files and programs get deleted when you update to windows 11 ?
No, it keeps all your data.

This is very weird that in my search widget, any items (such as pdfs) are not showing "Open File Location" option. Yet, in Windows 10, this option exists. What happened? What's wrong with my Windows 11?
Mine searches pdf files just fine. It could be your search indexing. On the search page click "..." in the upper right and select Indexing Options. Go to the bottom and select Advanced Indexing Options. Click Advanced and choose Rebuild. If there is an issue with the search index missing files that should correct it.
