That red bike was advanced for it’s time! I think it was on the expensive side when new! Nice machine!
Thanks for showing us this Dave! Soooo cool!
Awesome 👍😎
Thanks for the T shirt.
You have amazing collection of rare bikes .That Maico is amazing!!
See you again.
Thanks for watching and commenting!! Stop by anytime!
Dave, thanks for posting, I especially liked the Monkey Wards bikes. Had friends that had them new. They were great cheap bikes. I rode Kawasaki. 70's bikes is my era. I seen Moto Guzzi 850 G7 new in 77 in SF CA. Always thought they were advanced. THANKS,
The V7 Sport is still a 750, Guzzi didn't increase the the displacement to 850 until the Le Mans 850. "Swan neck" clip-ons, "shark gill" mufflers, hinged rear fender, and steering lock were all original from the factory. Late one with disc brakes is a good find and worth quite a few $$.
Thank you. I say I know a little about a lot to be dangerous!
When I was in college in the 60s, another guy in my dorm had a Maico typhoon.
Very cool. You should look him up. A very small world of folks who actually drove one of these!
Maico very cool! Good luck with it 👍
Fingers crossed!
Maico Taiphoon amazing
Dave, you have an eye for cool older bikes, and I appreciate that. I notice that you don't seem to encounter Norton's in the wild. If they should pass your radar kindly give them a camera pan. Thank You, Tom.
will do. I assume you're not specifically focusing on Commandos, yes?
@@bullpencycles Well, I did own a Commando in the early 70's. They say that we all want what we had. Still my life has changed, I have grown up and I am not going to live forever. I find that I don't have the need for speed any longer.
Dave I'm interested in the macio ,what money are you looking for the bike ? Karl
Thanks Karl. I replied to your email. Was not really planning to sell it at this time
VH =500cc NH=350cc.
I found that on the timing cover, but its only a cover. Are the bottom ends really different that one can mis-match the timing cover to "fake" it. Mine is correctly a 500. Thank you.
coool shit
Yes
Imagine a distant relative dies and leaves you his house. You're happy but you pull the covers off a Moto Guzzi, but wait, there's more. 😊
