Thanks for posting this one! I have a 1971 500 with the 126/650 engine. Any trick to pulling the oil filter without taking off the back cross member? Also, a video on adjusting the valves would be greatly appreciated!
Hi mate thanks for comments. Unfortunately to it right it’s best to remove the rear cross member. You’ll be able to clean it out properly. It’s not that hard I did it on both 500 and my 126 niki. I’ll look into posting valve adjusting. Regards Xavier
I've taken delivery of a vintage 500D. I'm easing myself into it with basic maintenance. I have found no posts on gearbox oil flush and chance. I have the 500 Manual but I see no reference to a gearbox oil chance. Can you help me? Thank you. Marc
