Appreciate you and "the God" sharing this. Im a south kid and back in the day there were two moves you learned, the AI crossover and the Shammgod move lol. Made it all the way down to Louisiana. Now as I set up hoop camps for kids I can appreciate getting some drills from a legend. Much love.
I've been doing his cone drills for 5 months now. I lost some weight, gained some hops, friends seem to wanna give me the ball all the time, the girls mirin me.

Usually not too impressed with most camps, but Sham and his crew does a good job. Hope they are teaching the kids about processing the educational aspects of the game after learning the skills....cause is our big problem in New York among the guards.

Great drills. Lots of carry-balls and travelling but in the US (NBA) that's not called. Regardless, the skill-set taught is superb.

This video is great! I'm an old school coach so its hard for me to teach these young men to handle the ball like that. How can I purchase an instruction video to use with my kids (my guards need a lot of work)

can someone tell me what that move is called? at 3:08. Kid jumps over the set of cones into another 2 steps. Looks like a jump stop variation? Not sure.

3:52 is a travel though. can hop and land off the same foot..
It's not a travel. When you do a jump stop you can chose which foot you want to be the pivot by landing it first.
however i don't see the advantage of jumping off the same foot. It forces you to jump off the wrong foot for the layup. no reason to complicate your footwork
I've seen it done in games without being called. if you can get away with it then I say do it
@@Kevinschart Can't land on the same foot unfortunately. It's a travel in Fiba and Nba. Curry got called, Kemba too.
