Video shows Colorado storage facility fire, smoke blowing onto Interstate 70

- A fire started at a storage facility along Interstate 70 in the western part of the Denver metro area. It's called StorQuest Self Storage and it is located in Arvada, just west of Wadsworth Boulevard. See video from CBS Colorado's news helicopter.
Kind of surprised there aren’t more resources assisting
Never seen a master stream used like that when firefighters are in the building.
I'm kind of surprised they didn't get a Ladder Tower in operation. Positioned correctly, a tower like that would be able to knock down this kind of fire. My hunch is that the access for fire trucks was EXTREMELY limited.
I do wonder why there are no ladder or tower units deployed already? Or ventilation holes made? Is the roof structure unsafe? (It took nearly 15 minutes to get one going).

Lived in wheat ridge Arvada for 17 yrs.i know where this at .hope no one was hurt
I used to meet a truck on Fridays right at I 70 and buy bulk potatoes and pinto beans to live on back in the late 70's. I can't remember the interchange but it was in Arvada

Don't get that copter in the lithium smoke or the pilot will drowse out and crash.
Why aren't the residents jumping out windows?
No need to rush. Everything in that strip of units will be total loss when all said and done. Just protect other units around

I am no expert but was is the guy on ground shooting water in the air hitting nothing. Why isn’t there a second ladder tower.
