This 30-minute standing pilates stretch workout is great for when you are feeling tight but don’t want to come down to the mat! This would be perfect first thing in the morning to open up and wake up those muscles, after a workout, or in the evening to wind down and stretch tight muscles.
Incorporating a regular stretching and flexibility routine will reduce your risk of injuries and help you move through your everyday activities with greater ease. Have your muscles ever been so tight that you are in physical pain? You shouldn’t feel that way! Improving your mobility is the key to pain-free ease of movement.
Do you include stretching and flexibility regularly throughout your week? How do you stay mobile? I’d love to hear - comment below!

This was a fabulous standing stretch and mobility. Thank you. Have a great day!
Greetings Caitlin😊! I want you to know I have been working out with you for a few years and am so happy to have found YOU!! I really enjoy your standing classes as I am of a certain age and they work best for me. Keep up what you are doing your instruction is on point!!👏🏾♥️🙌🏾
This whole session is literally my OG go to. It’s through and you move slow and effectively through all the stretches in every part of your body. I’ve been able to gain so much to this healing body because of this. Thank you for taking the time to make this wonderful video.
I loved the music! This was so needed for my body today!
Sometimes a good stretch is exactly what the body needs! Glad you liked it!
This is my new favourite stretching routine and has really helped with back tightness from working from home, thank you!
You're so welcome, Lucy! Glad it's helped to stretch you out and loosen your back!
this helps so much with tight muscles, thank you!!!
Thanks so much!!
Every body is 100% unique but for me, this did the trick. I'm 6'4", 320 lbs... Covidlife with the increased sitting around, has made my back somewhat prone to trouble... I strained some muscles working out the other day resulting in a few intermittent back spasms that were so painful... Literally shook me to the 'core'... Left my back tight and 'fragile' and me just dreading another spasm. After this workout, my back feels warm, relaxed, and safe. I'm never gonna be able to do a proper sit up, lol, but I just alternated between crunches and 'the 100' (pilates exercise) for that bit. Thanks for this, Cailin!
Hi Dan, thanks so much for your wonderful comment! As a studio owner, I see clients of all shapes, sizes and abilities, and with all kinds of pains and ailments... and my goal with this channel is to make pilates and movement more accessible for all. So I'm thrilled to hear that this routine worked so well for you!
thank you
Another spot on stretching workout my dear! You have a gift for getting into the areas that my body is craving. Thank you for helping me to feel aligned after a wonky day😌
Wonderful, Kelly! Happy to help you loosen up those tight areas!
Really enjoyed this, thank you! Your timely instruction keeps our movement mindful and feeling good!
Loved this Cailin! Thank you for waking up my body! Oh my that figure 4 standing stretch was just what I needed!
Yay, Antonella! Sometimes a good wake up and stretch is just what we need 😀 Glad you liked the figure 4 stretch too!! Thank you!
This was 🙂. Nice flow.
Thank you 🙌 Glad you enjoyed it!
This is amaaazing! Hit every body part. I really do feel much better after doing it. It is not completely floor-free, with a bit of hands-on-floor (I was doing it at the office), so I gave my hands a good wash after haha! Thank you: I will keep this in my favourites to do it again.
I would love more standing workouts like this one, I have problems from abdominal surgeries, and stretching really helps! I also do your other standing workouts and they are great too!
So happy to hear this class and the other standing workouts have worked so well for you... more to come!
Thanks!
You're so very welcome! Thank you for you support!

Fantastic thank you 🙏
Loved this one! Thank you for this great stretching...I did this as an add on after the first day of your Mountain workout!
You’re so welcome! What a great pairing to do those two videos together! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Thanks for the video. I wanted something less intensive in the morning but delivered a great stretch. Some really good stretch movements I had picked up! Especially the hands behind your back, bend and then turn side to side, was fantastic! Ha. Keep up the good content!
So happy to hear that, James! I'm glad you enjoyed this! I do love that hands behind the back stretch as well... it's one of my favorites 😀 It hits a lot of areas of the body and feels so good!
Hello Cailin, I used to perform my yoga routine every morning (well... at least I tried!). But 3 months ago, I had a drilling accident and seriously injured my hand. This now prevents me to do any yoga, since so many poses (starting with sun salutations!) rely on putting the body weight on the palms of your hand. My body was aching for stretching/yoga and most fortunately, I discovered your amazing 24-minute pilates routine -- this is absolutely perfect for me, and I follow it every morning (well... at least I try!). Thank you for creating and posting this workout: it is helping me tremendously to get back in top shape. Thanks!
my only (very small) remark/question is about the soundtrack: I wonder if the background music is needed, or if the flow of your voice would be enough?
EDIT after 8 months of viewing your video on a nearly daily basis (except on holidays): I now LOVE the upbeat soundtrack. I find it's the beat that gets my brain wired to get up and do my morning routine.
Awww, this is so great to hear! Of course I'm so very sorry about your hand, I'm sure that has been frustrating for you. It's wonderful, though, that you shifted and adjusted instead of stopping moving altogether. I'm glad this routine has worked so well for you :) Thanks, also, for your mention of the music. I do appreciate any and all feedback! Thanks again for sharing, and hope your hand continues to heal quickly!
@@MVMTwithCailin Hello Cailin, it's been 8 months that I have been using this routine on a nearly daily basis, so I thought I'd share an update, both to warmly thank you, as well as to encourage everyone to give it a go. I've tried many "power stretching" videos, and this is by far my favorite! So much so, that I am still doing it every morning: I find that this video always helps me muster the motivation to get out of bed, starting with the loosey-goosey and gradually getting the body warmed up and ready for the day.
So THANK YOU !!!
Just made a small donation as well ;-)
@@PatrickBikar Wow, Patrick, I am so thankful that you sent this update! I'm impressed with your daily consistency with this routine, and love how it helps you start your day :) Thank YOU for your kind words!
✅✨
But this isn't standing Pilates
Hi Tessa, thank you for your comment. I'm sorry if the title of this video was deceiving! It is mainly a stretching and flexibility routine, with a focus on body alignment to get the most out of the stretches. I took the word Pilates out so that it would not confuse others!
