- This is a video about Rouge National Urban Park which is located on the east end of Toronto, Ontario. We had an opportunity to explore the park over two separate weekends. We found the park to be a great place to explore and conveniently located as it wasn't too far away. Also, the park has it's own App which provided a lot of information and proved to be very useful. Enjoy the video!
Used to hike and swim in the river 65 years ago. I'm so glad that you are preserving that priceless piece of nature.
WOW!! That’s incredible!! You must have seen that area change so much over the last 65 years (assuming you are still in the area)!! I mean, it wasn’t even a park when you were frolicking in those waters! Just amazing! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! All the best!!!
What a wonderful place. Went there today as well as last Saturday. I use a Sony AX33 4K video camera for all my shots. It allows 1080P, 4K and photographs. It's the sheer size and diversity of the park that amazes me. I live close to the Science Centre, so the drive is about 45 minutes. Watched your video footage from July 7th/ and thought is was quit interesting. Keep up the good work.
Gorgeous park. Your video is very well done.
Thank you my friend! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and provide support! I hope you are staying safe and well. And, that you are getting some opportunities to enjoy some waterfalls!!
Well made
Thank you very much! I hope you are staying safe and taking opportunities to enjoy the outdoors! All the best!!
That app info is really helpful. Thanks
Thanks! I’m glad you were able to find some useful information. Appreciate you taking the time to comment! I hope you are staying safe and enjoying your time outdoors! All the best!!
Thanks for the video and info. It’s nice to see what it is like in the summer. I just went there for the 1st time today and it’s amazing in winter as well. Such a great amenity to have so close to downtown. I’ll definitely be going this summer.
Hey! Glad you enjoyed the video and found it informative! The park is a wonderful place to visit in either the summer or winter! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment! Stay safe and stay well! All the best!!!
Nice video with good information. We had hoped to go to Banff when we traveled down from Alaska but the pandemic made it impossible. It will remain on our list for another day.
Thanks so much for watching!! Hopefully you get a chance to visit Banff sometime in the future - it’s definitely worth visiting as it is an absolutely stunning and beautiful part of the world! All the best in your travels!!
What a beautiful park. Would love to hike there one day.
Yes! You should definitely make it a point to try and hike there one day! It is a fantastic park and very accessible! Thank for the comment! I hope you are staying safe and keeping well!!
Loved your video on the park. It’s very informative. Would love to get your thoughts on if you faced any issue or something you would like to see improved on your future visit. I am doing a project on the park and would appreciate your feedback very much. Thank you.
Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words!!! I think the one thing that I would like to see, or could be improved, would be if the various trails throughout the park could be joined. It would be amazing to be able to hike from the top of the park all the way down to Rouge beach. I hope that helps! Let me know if there is anything further I can do to help!!
@@life_asiseeitThank you so much for the info. I will definitely add it to my recommendations. Even though, many people have had a lovely visit, I see reviews where some visitors are disappointed with the parking slot availability especially on weekends. I am not sure regarding this but if there isn’t any reservation system for vehicle permit, it might be an interesting suggestion and be helpful for people who are turned away when the lot is full.
Another thing is when you visited, was there any entrance fee or for the parking as I think it’s soon going to be introduced after the expansion that is been going on. So we are thinking of suggesting additional amenities to be provided if there is an admission fee so that visitors feel they have got their money’s worth like more portable toilets, bbq- fire pits-bon fire, guided tour/hike, entertainer for kids. (Since we have not visited, we are not sure if these are already available or if it is feasible there)
We are still brainstorming, researching for possible issues visitors have, how to address them and trying to get as much info as possible. Thank you so much for your time.
Very nice video...beautiful park, and have never been to Ontario. My favorite kind of videos. Love the railroad tracks..something very special about it. Good Job. I subscribed and will follow you!

Hey brother, Where would be a good place to go for bird photography in the park?
I see so many entrances but I am unfamiliar with the area.
Wow, great video! Ive volunteered to pull out invasive species from here before. Great work on the video, this definitely deserves more views! Keep up the great work. I especially love the old growth hemlock grove @6:00. Cheers
