I went out there a few days ago and it was all perfectly dry, flat, white and smooth. No one stuck, no bugs, no cops, just peace and quiet and an endless sea of flat. There's a sign near the front of the road that says don't go out there when it's not dry. If you go when it's dry, it's pretty awesome, highly recommended.
🤙absolutely, this year has been better
I live in Florida but saw pictures floating around thinking this could be a nice trip but after your review I’ll stay here and enjoy real beaches
🤣🤣🤣yes Florida is so so much better
haha sameee i came from a facebook post going around now lol
appreciate this info. Thank you 💐
Totally worth it when it is dry.
I would have to agree
I'm sorry but this location that u filming is completely wrong place the right place should be At exit 4 right on the reast area and the next exit after the race track,
if u coming on spring summer time all dry there and easy to go on the flat (see other youtube video)i dont knkw when u was there but this is highly recommend
Thanks 🤙
Potash- It’s a concentrated brine solution - potassium chloride. It’s a mining run off. It’s not water from the great salt lake 😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️.
🤣🤣🤣honestly that makes things more clear
👍👍👍beautiful video ❤️❤️❤️
I was there this past Monday and the canal is pretty much so dried up. Numerous no trespassing signs as it’s private property. Seems as though the canal only recently got popular.
Bring an anchor and a come-along
True, that would work really well.
When did you go. I heard it was drained?
This was filmed two weeks ago
This is private land, there’s a whole other section of the salt flats that is public land, that you’re allowed to access, drive on, etc that is quite beautiful.
Glad you took this it’s ugly. Not like the pictures people take. Thanks 😂
@@nicolemclean7513 it's beautiful, I just took a bunch of amazing pictures a couple days ago. This is what it looks like when it's wet. You just need to make sure you're going when it's dry.
That's why there are ocean's.& beaches to visit instead of that place. I personally don't care about the salt flats.,or going out there anyways myself to begin with. The country is so stupid that they don't even know that there is magnesium sapertate out there for aluminum products still today. I thought we had scientist in this country.
Up in Alaska they wear flea collars- believe it or not.
Honestly that would be a good idea
Why do you think that the water is so dark.& blue looking color for to begin with.
what a trip
👍👍👍 NYC
No to self... Bring army tank
Hahahaha exactly
Yeah, I’ve always wanted to kayak in waste water. . . . 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Did you ever go to the place that’s safer with better views?
Which place would that be
@@DanielJaromthe place you were talking about at 4:40
He said you never know when it's going to get soft or when it's going to get hard
Your not a local are ya... There are better places to go and park then there. I know some sweet spots out there.
🤣🤣lived here my whole life
People swimming in that 😬
🤣yupp
Ehq
Thats why they have bug spray., earplugs.
Hahaha right
There are hundreds of really cool places to go swimming, paddle boarding, and what ever in Utah. Don't go there. Nasty place.
Agreed, utah has some amazing places
Yuck
I can agree.. I never know when it’s gonna get soft or when it’s gonna get hard.
hahahaha
