Anything can happen but most likely after the 3rd round Connor will just run out of breath and Floyd will just pick him apart. Connor's only chance is to get a good punch in between those rounds. It will be tough to hit Floyd but anything can happen. We have seen Connor go out and do things nobody though he could.
I know that Floyd made sure this fight happened as soon as possible also to ensure that McGregor didn't have as much time to prep his boxing skills for the fight. I don't like Floyd in terms of him not taking on fights he should to help give him the same kind of love as an Ali or Sugar Ray, but he definitely knows how to get his money and keep his record undefeated though.

I'm a boxing head but this fight is something I'll watch for the spectacle that it is.. I think a pre-delahoya floyd mayweather would murder mcgregor, however I think floyd's age will hurt his conditioning. I however think that Conor has a granite chin and Floyd will not try to knock him out and risk breaking his hands. If Floyd wins, it's by decision, if Conor wins it's from a ko.. maybe not out cold but from a solid connection which would hurt floyd bad enough to end the fight.
If Floyd loses I seriously think it could be the end for boxing. That's a whole new level of pressure for Floyd, he's effectively fighting for the sport. And if he doesn't stop Conor it seriously damages his own reputation, it will almost be like a loss if he doesn't stop him. That along with Conor's usual mind games getting under his skin, Floyd could end up fighting out of character, taking risks, feeling like he's obliged to put on a performance and under-estimating Conor, we'll see.
So disappointed that Kellerman couldn't say what he felt. Max should have laid into Dana on how bad Connor is going to lose. Kellerman just sitting their smiling.

I think this fight is more interesting than people give it credit for, but before we get into that, there are some facts that we need to establish. A lot of media members (fight analyst, commentators etc) have been making a lot of blanket statements that simply aren't true and I would definitely like to clear up the main ones. First and foremost, I have seen so many people saying that Conor doesn't have any boxing experience and this actually isn't true at all. Conor may not have been boxing as long as Floyd (he is a few years shy of being half of his age after all), but he has been boxing since he was 12 years old. It is also important to note that he is an amateur national boxing champion. I know this doesn't mean he is at a professional level by any means, but he definitely has an extremely solid grasp of all of the core boxing fundamentals. People like Kellerman, who claim he has a zero chance of beating Floyd are simply wrong because anyone at any given day has a puncher's chance to win a fight and this brings me to my second fact. Lots of people have been downplaying Conor's power considerably and due to his power alone, I would give him a bit more of an advantage than a simple "puncher's chance". To say Conor completely lacks KO power (which a lot of people have been saying) is like saying Demian Maia can't submit you or that Cain Velazquez isn't a great wrestler- these statements are obviously not true. We have seen time and time again that when Conor touches someone they drop or they get hurt. Last, but certainly not least, everyone and their mother has been saying Conor called out Floyd and again this is incorrect. When Conor was the featherweight champion and was scheduled to fight Dos Anjos for the lightweight belt, Floyd for some reason started calling out Conor and he was very public about it. In fact, every chance Floyd got he would use it to bad mouth Conor. Now many boxing fans will definitely know that Floyd is infamous for hand picking his opponents. He also has a bad reputation for ducking and dodging tough fights. He has made it a common theme throughout his career where he has waited for fighters to get out of their prime and the minute that happens he instantly calls them out- Conor has never had this problem and he has established himself with the mentality that he will fight anyone anywhere. So with a record 49 and 0 why would Floyd start randomly calling out Conor McGreggor? Obviously, one of the big underlying factors is money, but I can think of two other possible scenarios as well. First, maybe he saw Conor as an easy fight, an easy pay day, and as an easy way to get to 50 and 0 so that he could retire for good. Another possible scenario is that he NEVER dreamed that a real fight would happen between him and Conor, but isn't it a little ironic that a couple of months ago when the rumors were flying heavy about this fight, Floyd abruptly stopped bad mouthing Conor and started saying nothing, but nice things about him? Hmm... weird.
Anyways, now that we have the facts in order, what I think it really boils down to is that as of right now, it's really hard to make an accurate prediction for this fight because there are so many variables involved. These are, but not limited to: Conor's age, Floyd's age, Conor's size / reach advantage, Conor's undeniable punching power, the history of Floyd's injuries, Conor's determination, etc. If Conor truly believes he can beat Floyd then that makes him extremely dangerous- willpower and determination can make people accomplish impossible feats. However, it could also be that these two are just going to dance around each other for 12 rounds with minimal contact for an easy pay day. However, you look at it, it is very interesting to say the least.
At the end of this video Dana said that Conor puts people to sleep. But he forgot that Conor will have boxing cushion gloves which is hard for him to make Floyd sleep with his punch. I agree with Dana if Conor hits Floyd with naked fists.
