Shaun Micallef plays a drunk where the studio set is a tilted room. From the first season of the Micallef Show on the ABC. Watch his 'Mad As Hell' videos on CZcams! / madashellabctv
How clever is it that he realises the sugar is on the floor, so he slides to it? And when he kicks the orange...ha. Such a simple idea but it's farking brilliant.
My house is exactly like this due to a landslide so I found this paticulary funny. I like a good bit of realism in my comedy and something I can relate to.
This is why You Tube exists for me, I had missed that sketch when it went to air, and it is a GEM thanks for putting it up or I would never had seen it.
@Sickslurr and vice versa Never was very good at console games, but got respectable on FPS PC games. Played Halo with a buddy on his XBox and had my ass handed to me 10 to 1. Rather humbling :,(
I'd say it would have to be a lot more than that. I'm not sure where the notion that you can't stand up on a 30 degree slope comes from, there are actually streets that have a 1 in 3, or 30 degree slope, and they are walkable (I know, I've done it). I'd say the angle would be somewhere between 35 to 45 degrees.
I don't know about specific degrees I keep tilting my head to be even with the dude to try to see how the girl is actually "sitting" And based on this, my guess is that she must be laying in a way that most of weight is on her ribs while her elbow maintains the angle as opposed to actually propping her up And the tea and sugar makes it seem like theyre more at a 45 degree angle
ROFL omg this is by far one of the most hilarious things I've seen.. simply brilliant! I would have liked a zoom-out at the end to see at wich angle the room is tilted..
@DudeitsLandon The guys name is Shaun Micallef. This is the first episode of season 1 the Micallef Program screened on the Australian Broacasting Corp back in 1998. Its an Australian show and ran for three seasons quite typical for Australian TV shows of this genre.
I've watched this so many times but for some reason him grabbing the bowl of fruit as he slides by always kills me! 🤣
It's a perfect cut away.
"Correcting" the painting gets me.
The sugar in the tea was the funniest part, and hardly anyone laughed! hahaha.
I agree, the way he just casualy sits there putting pinches of sugar into his tea cracked me up.
I agree!! Toooo funny!
3 best parts: "Straightening" the picture, pinching the sugar off the floor into his cup and the cup flying off the table.🤣
Shaun Micallef - an Australian comedic genius :)
The "Have you been drinking?" line cracks me up. I also like when the cup of tea goes sliding off the table. This is a great little skit.
the teacup shooting off the table gets me no matter how many times i rewind it
How clever is it that he realises the sugar is on the floor, so he slides to it? And when he kicks the orange...ha.

what?
His exit is fantastic :]
Love Shaun Micallef!
Classic! Micallef's a genius!
hahahaa when he sits in the chair trying to be cool and then goes flying
I'm glad I finally found a way to explain my friends how do I feel when I'm the only one you drank too much.
Anybody after Arun Anna filmi craft

Wow, this is a smart idea for a sketch. I laughed so hard my parents said to shut up.
This is why You Tube exists for me, I had missed that sketch when it went to air, and it is a GEM thanks for putting it up or I would never had seen it.
I love Micallef. A Diamond from Down Under
I was sent by a man who ski jumped off of a mountain in a car with a booster with his father and landed in an Ikea Target Sofa.
Weren't we all!
Wow, it's like Santa Cruz's Mystery Spot, expect not lame!

Gold. Micallef at his most talented and best!
Awesome! Brilliant! We need more of that kind of comedy in this day and age!
This guy is globally UNDERRATED, if Rowen Atkinson ever has a comedic rival, it's Shawn Macalfif
When you used to playing on console and you switch to Mouse and Keyboard
No fucking cap
@Sickslurr and vice versa

Rather humbling

@JDG3981 Nice, I don't have the years you do my brotha but I was on Sega Genesis and up until about age 23, so I had to do a lot of re-learning.
This is on of my favorite sketches ever!
I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FUNNY THIS IS
Normally i dont find stuff like these funny.
But this is hilarious. Should do an entire house like this or upside down haha
Oh my God I've never laughed so hard!!!! This is fantastic!
Shaun Micallef is THE funniest man ever
OMG i lost it, this is amazing!
LOL i remember this when it aired on TV in Oz!

Me too
I must ask, what episode are you referring to?

From here in the States we say, very clever and excellently presented. Best of luck!
Amazingly well done I must say!
hahahah i have been looking for these micallef bits for ages! hes a funny, funny man. Nice post! :D
I remember a similar sketch done by Shaun where the entire room was rotating like a tumble dryer.
INCREDIBLE!!!!
If anyone's interested, by my estimate based on how he rotates the picture, I would say the room's at about a 20 degree incline.
04whim That seems about right. It certainly wouldn't be greater than 30 degrees, otherwise he wouldn't be able to stand up.
+04whim I belive it 23 degrees
I'd say it would have to be a lot more than that. I'm not sure where the notion that you can't stand up on a 30 degree slope comes from, there are actually streets that have a 1 in 3, or 30 degree slope, and they are walkable (I know, I've done it). It is more. Close to 40. Check the tea and milk out.
I don't know about specific degrees I keep tilting my head to be even with the dude to try to see how the girl is actually "sitting"
And based on this, my guess is that she must be laying in a way that most of weight is on her ribs while her elbow maintains the angle as opposed to actually propping her up

The picture tilt alone was enough to make me ROFL.
I've had dreams where I walk around like that 0_0
Brilliant!

Excellent - this is too funny!!
This is awesome! I would have liked to see the set when they filmed this. This has got to be tough to act in.
Would be cool if he suddenly started walking on the wall and she still didn't care...
ROFL omg this is by far one of the most hilarious things I've seen.. simply brilliant! I would have liked a zoom-out at the end to see at wich angle the room is tilted..
XD That was great!
Brilliant! Micallef is still the smartest & funniest comedian in Australia.
