Just as a note, my mate bought one on sale at BCF, and first time out using it, we discovered after him getting bogged repeatedly that his gauge was showing 11-13psi high. So when he thought he was at 17psi, he was more like 30psi. Made for a tough day out on the beach until i checked his tyres with my gauge and found the problem!

I bought one of these from BCF purely because i can't find my Staun tyre deflators, Plus it was on special for $14.95 from memory, Seems to work ok on a test on the spare. I will know more after heading down the Beach in the next few days.

I usually just stab a hole in the sidewall with a sharp stick 😉

the reason XTM doesn't feel as nice is because TJM usually "lubricates" the review aka cash for comments - like most of the reputable mags and people end up doing.
