Just as a note, my mate bought one on sale at BCF, and first time out using it, we discovered after him getting bogged repeatedly that his gauge was showing 11-13psi high. So when he thought he was at 17psi, he was more like 30psi. Made for a tough day out on the beach until i checked his tyres with my gauge and found the problem!
I bought one of these from BCF purely because i can't find my Staun tyre deflators, Plus it was on special for $14.95 from memory, Seems to work ok on a test on the spare. I will know more after heading down the Beach in the next few days.
Can you show how you connected it to the valve please
Just watched this mate and got one one of the XTM tyre deflator, for the price they are they are pretty close to the dot for your pressure you need.
Wow I just bought this deflator and it took me a long time to deflator my tyres. It's a new Dmax could it be faulty the deflator
I usually just stab a hole in the sidewall with a sharp stick 😉
This might be handy i usually just use a flat head screw driver
the reason XTM doesn't feel as nice is because TJM usually "lubricates" the review aka cash for comments - like most of the reputable mags and people end up doing.
