awesome tutorial. i did as instructed - flipped the wrench head a few times, opened and closed jaws... all the nuts in my house suddenly came loose, and my 1 month old son spoke his first word too. he said WTF O_o
Brilliant, you really made me laugh!
LOLOLOL
Jajajajjaajj yes and how yo use the taps spannet
Hahahahaha omg that’s stupid funny bro good one
I think I used mine the wrong way. Didn’t achieve the results. Will try again.
Thanks. I always thought the wrench was used for taking off nuts. I was way off. Flipping it around a few times back and forth in time to a lively tune is way more fun.
Where's the bit on how to use it? Absolutely useless.
yer same here
He did. You attach it to the nut. If it's not spring loaded, you need to have one hand free to hold it against the nut. If it's spring loaded, no need for one hand.
What do you want he guy to do...show you how to do a whole ass bathroom install?! 😂😂
Well, that was Informative. Thank you for showing me the proper way to fiddle around with a tap wrench head.
I actually LMAO when he said... "and that's how to use a tap wrench"
He's an engineer in the field? 😂
Me too cause I didnt learn shit lol
Hehe funny as . We call them basin spanners over here in awstralia.

What is the purpose of our existence? Is it simply to have a good job, build a family, and enjoy life? Is that all there is? Certainly not. We’re made for so much more. Your purpose is to know God. After we die, the Bible says we’ll face God as our Judge. Have you ever rebelled (sinned) against God? Examine yourself by God’s Law, the Ten Commandments. Have you ever told a lie? Ever stolen (the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” In God’s courtroom, our sins are very serious crimes. They’re so evil that the just punishment is death and eternity in a terrible place called Hell.
The Bible says that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. He is rich in mercy and provided a Savior: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Jesus Christ died on the cross, paying the death penalty for sinners. He then rose from the dead three days later, defeating death. Hundreds saw Him after His resurrection; it’s no fairy tale. Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies about the promised Savior, written in the Holy Scriptures hundreds of years before His birth.
Religious rites, sacred traditions, or attending church can’t save you. Salvation is a free gift of God that you can’t earn. To know God and have your sins forgiven, do what the Bible says: repent and believe. Trust in Jesus as you’d trust in a parachute-don’t just “believe” it can save you, put it on and cling to it with all of your being. Wholeheartedly commit yourself to following Christ, and turn your back on sin. Then show your gratitude by obeying His command to be baptized. Be sure to also join a Christian church and read the Bible daily. God will never let you down.
@@matthewhamilton9743 im his son what r u talking about
This is why you should never let a engineer do your plumbing ;)
agreed
Maybe he's good at plumbing, maybe he's not, but he's not good at making demonstration videos!
I think he's a plumber, not an engineer
@@ianm452 He calls himself an "engineer" this is taken from Cambridge Dictionary : "Engineer: a person whose job is to design or build machines, engines, or electrical equipment, or things such as roads, railways, or bridges, using scientific principles" so perhaps he's confused I still wouldn't let him near any plumbing.
Great video, thank you for you expert advice. Can see your years of experience come through on the video. 🤣🤣🤣
OK.... Aside from the obvious comment that this is 2 minutes of music graphics and not much else. It might have been useful to show it actually taking the nut off... And then what about the plastic nut further up?
Why have they not taken this down the most information learnt from this is showing the differences between an old and new wrench
Thank you very much Captain Obvious ! You showed us NOTHING !
Exactly!
R u having a laugh? I’m None the wiser😂
Video could have shown more of how to fit the tap wrench on the nut and how to turn the wrench for loosening or tightening the nut.
I'm glad he called it a tap wrench. I would never have Googled 'basin wrench'. Having had mine for about 20 years I came to do a job and didn't remember how to change it from 'tightening' to 'untightening' mode. This gave me just what I wanted, even though he didn't demonstrate it.
So HOW DO WE USE IT???
1. place tap wench somewhere behind toilet
2. wait
3. say “and that’s how to use a tap wrench”
camera in front of toilet is optional
@@user-pe2uv4fn6w LOL, I was eagerly waiting for him to undo the nut, then he says "and that's how to use a tap wrench."
The most difficult task is tightening the nut that holds the faucet to the sink
This should be in the 'How not to make an instruction video' section. However, its so bad I can't stop laughing so its achieved something. The dead pan 'and thats how to use a tap wrench' at the end, oh man, hilarious.
I still don't know how to use it. Is there a part 2 that shows how to use it?
Still waiting for the crucial bit!
Gracias por realizar este instructivo vídeo de enseñanza maestro!
Are you kidding me? That told me absolutely nothing!
Umm. And how do we use it then?
He didn't show how to use it. Remember, this could be the 1st time we are using it.
That was a demonstration on how to place it. I still can't work out how to actually turn the nut.
Thank you for just showing us the wrench .
"in my next video, I will be showing you how to use a tyre iron by kicking the tyre"
Think this is missing a question mark at the end of the video title...
This had the music and production value of a porn clip, and about the same amount of knowledge on how to use a tap wrench.
He actually had the tap wrench round the wrong way when he placed it over the inlet feed. I sincerely hope this guy is not out there teaching.
Lmao guessing you're a plummer
watched the video and thought i missed something, but thankfully the comments agreed XD
Your next video should be on how to get an electrical outlet as close to the bathroom sink as possible.
Garbage video
Thank you 😊
This must be a matter of terminology because I've always known that is a basin wrench. A tap wrench that is a T handle tap wrench is a whole different animal
Right at the end at 1.55 I swear he looks the spit of John Lydon.. earrings 'n' all!
That's not a tap wrench. It's a basin wrench. A tap wrench holds a tap for threading holes.
I was certain I accidentally jumped forward to the end 😆
I though that was called a "basin wrench" and a "tap wrench" was something in a tap and die set.
Judging by the comments ... that went well! Lol
I did a "Tap Wrench" search on CZcams; and, this tool didn't show up.
"Basin Wrench" is the closest thing to this tool.
I found this video looking for Basin Wrench.
Useless video
Just FYI, just like others on the comment list here already mentioned correctly, that is not a tap wrench. That's called a basin wrench and its used for loosening and tightening fittings in hard to reach spaces. A tap wrench is a t-handle tool used to make different size threads in holes by hand. Yeah ur terminology sux
Do you charge by the hour?
Couldn't tell how the wrench wrapped tightly around the nut. That's what I don't understand. How it wraps and stays put so that the user can then exercise pressure and turn the nut .
How come mine doesn't hold it firm but just slips off?
Errr you showed nothing!
What on earth makes an old bloke think an earring looks good on him?
This was more like a video for people with tap wrench fetishes. If I wanted to watch some fella fondling the mechanism I would have gone on the Dark Web.
Was that a wind up ?
Basic info like 'put it on this way to tighten, and this other way to loosen' would be nice to show. You'll probably figure it out eventually, but will be less likely to damage something if you know which way to do it to start with. Here's a video tutorial that shows a bit more detail: czcams.com/video/w3mibmhjwHA/video.html
Also turning off the water before trying to undo existing plumbing is a good idea unless you really just want to spray down yourself and the area, and spend some extra time cleaning up the mess. If you do this be sure to make a video and post it for our entertainment! :D LOL
Should be called how to spin a tap ranch.
Would have been helpful to see you actually loosen or tighten
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you kill me.
uh.......
Hmm , how about showing hard to reach places, ie. under the back of a sink, not toilet?!??
I am now fully trained on flicking a spring loaded nut......great.!..and that was crap...onwards.
lol that is a basin wrench a tap is used to put threads in a hole. a tap wrench is has a square hole in the middle of it where the tap goes to make a tee handle to cut threads in the corresponding hole.
if people are going to explain stuff at least get the terminology right.
I legitimately can't tell if this dude is serious or not, and I'm a certified Master Level Troll. "Engineer" "Sprug" "that's how you use it". What the actual fuck!?
Basin wrench
Spring not sprung
Was I the only one who missed how to undo the nut using that wrench? Oh, I guess not now that I see the dislikes out number the likes 9 to 1... Wow! don't think I have EVER seen that before. Sorry man, I hate to sound disrespectful but...
Adrian, you are a plumber, not an engineer...
I think maybe HE was asking the question and just forgot to put the question mark at the end of the title.
ok did i miss it but i did not see how to use it on the nut ...??
I'm not sure he knows how to use it and he's waiting for someone to post the correct way in the comments.
Er, so, which way for on and which way for off?
That's not a tap wrench. Tap wrench is used to make threads..
this has nothing to do with gardening!
Better to use a Channel lock.
WTH, didn't cover at ALL on how to use it. At least I now know how to move it around & play with it, to bad that helps with NOTHING.
Not only do I have an accent but I mumble and hide what im doing with my hands so not only can you not understand what im saying but you can't see what im doing......
Watched that. And still haven't a clue how to use it. 😏
I.... didn't learn anything except how to flip the thing back and forth.
😂😂😂ridiculous so were is the demo or did i miss something
... Only it doesn't actually tell you how to use a tap wrench
Plumbing videos should *always* be set to porn music.
If they'll let you out for a weekend you could do this over, using proper terminology. Oh wait, the home is calling on line 2.
So did I miss it? I think I’m more confused than ever now.
Numb nuts
That shaver socket was way to close to that sink..... Bathroom safe zone?.
Waste of space
I must be illiterate, I thought it read how to use a tap wrench, how stupid am I.
I was hoping to see you actually use it to do something.
Lol
That's how you use a video editing tool the dumb way
"I'm going to demonstrate"... still waiting...
You didn't show how to use it
...wish you showed how to Actually Use It!!
You never used it ....
Engineer in building trade and his wrench is sprung loaded.. 🙈🙈
Waste of time.....
Yes and you didn`t show anything turning, other then keep showing a sprung loaded wrench.
sorry this is the most uselss "how to use" ive ever seen..
A spanner would be better on that nut lol you had loads of room.
You are a plumber - not an engineer.
i'll bet he is a engineer because no plumber would call a basin wrench a tap wrench
So, when are you going to show us how to use it ? 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
I just lost 2.01 mins 9f my life....THANK YOU FOR THAT😴😴🛎🔚
Somebody needs to learn how to work with a camera!
Have you ever seen a "how to" video before? You are doing it wrong!
Imagine taking the time to put together a how to video and at no point realize you haven't included any instructions or show how to use the damn tool. Haha what a fail
Wtf
Ummm... Perhaps your video could use a little more instruction and less jazz music?
And if you're still none the wiser, just go here czcams.com/video/gwM9Sk3E_Ok/video.html
