- Decided I would upload the songs that weren't on here, enjoy!
Information:
"Was a three piece punk band from East Brunswick, New Jersey.
They were fronted by Tomas Kalnoky, who later went on to write, sing and play guitar for famed third-wave ska bands Catch 22, Streetlight Manifesto, and acoustic ensemble Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. Gimp released one cassette in 1995, entitled Smiles for Macavity, likely named after the cat, a subject of a poem. At the time, Tomas was 15.
The band featured drummer Chris Greer and bassist Jason Scharenguivel, both of which went on to play with Kalnoky in Catch 22, though Scharenguivel left after the recording of Rules of the Game. Kalnoky's brother Achilles also played violin on the track "Supernothing". Often at concerts for Kalnoky's current band, Streetlight Manifesto, fans will scream "Butterworth" in an attempt to make Kalnoky cover the song, "Mrs. Butterworth's Indestructible Bomb Shelter", but Kalnoky insist that "I wrote it when I was nine, its the most embarrassing thing I've ever written, stop saying Butterworth Smiles of Macavity
Smiles for Macavity is a 1996 album by Gimp. The tape was only circulated in a concentrated part of Keasbey, New Jersey, and is of very low quality, but the tracks can be found on the internet. As of August 30, 2007, a tribute album is in the works. Various underground artists will each cover a song off the album

Mrs. Butterworth tried for the fourth time today
To get her ass out of bed
But I don't have to explain
'cause it's the way things go
And it's the way things change,
The way things are and they always stay the same so…
Mrs. Butterworth, did I mention it seems like you're dying?
When she talks to me every once in a while
She tries to laugh,
She tries to smile.
Tries to hold back the tears,
But she knows they always come.
You'll die,
And you'll burn,
And you'll fry,
And you'll learn you can't trust no one,
That was my mistake,
While everybody's fighting for their own little piece of the cake
It took two years, but she finished it!,
Finally it stood!
She had no home and you got no job!
Finally it stood!
Mrs. Butterworth's shelter,
Mrs. Butterworth's shelter,
It took two years but she finished it!
When she talks to me every once in a while
She tries to bleed,
She tries to smile.
She tries to hold back the tears,
But she knows they always come.
You'll die,
You'll burn,
You'll fry,
You'll learn you can't trust no one,
That was my mistake,
And everybody's fighting for their own little piece of the cake
Go!
And when she's happy, she'll die alone
Finally she's won
She was before but no one could tell
Finally she's done
Everytime I see her
Everytime I see her
It's been a sad life but can't she see?
Sometimes I wonder, where could she be now?
Did she make it up to heaven or is she still around me?
I guess I'll never know
I guess I'll never know
Is she near me?
In me?
For me?
With me?
A sad sad soul but she had to had to go,
But I never really told her she was more than the world to me.
Go!
Mrs. Butterworth cried for the last time today,
It was early in the morning,
It was only three AM
But I came so quick and I ran to her side
I barely got there quick enough to see her close her eyes for the last time
So why'd you have to go away?
Sometimes I wonder, where could she be now?
Did she make it up to heaven or is she still around me?
Guess I'll never know
I guess I'll never know
Is she near me?
In me?
For me?
With me?
A sad sad soul but she had to had to go,
And I never really told her she was more than the world to me
Before I read the comments I thought to myself, "This sounds familiar."
Then I started to get a Streetlight vibe and I told myself, "No.... it couldn't be...... Holy Shit!!!! It's Toh Kay!!!!" lol
lol... Kalnoky it seems, was talented from Birth!
This reminds me of the bands I used to listen to highschool (year 2000). When Napster was a thing, you could find SO many underground, unknown punk/ ska / skacore bands and get free songs ;)
Go search for the punk band, Bowser. I think they are a scandanavian . Sounds like terrance and phillip made a punk band that was actually good.
Streetlight better make a remaster of this
It'd be a dream come true if he does but I doubt he will because he's embarrassed of this song
🤞 hopefully with the album that they'll drop
Tomas is a genius... he wrote this at the age of 15? wtf
+Sang Hyun Lee he actually wrote this particular song when he was 9
Thank you so much for uploading this. I love you
Sometimes I wANder WhAre cAld shA bA Naw
It’s still impossible to think this song was written by a 9 year old.
spoiler: she dies
they all die
we all die
everyone is dead
You'll burn, you'll fry, you'll learn
*OH BOY I CAN'T WAIT*
Why is this song so fucking dark
"Could use more horns and a different bass player, along with a different name.I wonder if they'll ever do that."
I wish ultimate guitar had some tabs

This song was written by a 9 yr old!?!?!? I mean im surprised because of the Youll die youll burn youl fry. part. and he says ass. so yeah im surprised. and I don't know why he hates such a piece of art.
haha thanks, nice to know that! Keep the kalnoky info coming.
Kalnoky also said he doesn't drink, smoke, or do drugs... So...
Look it up...
***** he says it at a show too
Jonaz Ongaco he definitely drinks, when I saw him as Toh Kay he was like "okay im gonna play this encore but im not gonna do the stupid get off stage and get off stage" and the crowd goes like "awwww" and he says "or I can just not play the encore and go backstage and drink all night"
