Very good choice with Guerlain Heritage. I have owned it for a few months and was not sure at first, but have grown to like it more and more each time I wear it. Very well blended, classy fragrance.
I miss the old formulations!... Drakkar Noir, Oscar de La Renta, Obsession, Stetson... were ruined by IFRA regulations. I would like to see those brands keeping old formulations to be sold online! It would be brilliant! The IFRA complient fragrances on the shelves, and the old ones for people that are aware of the "hazards" of forbidden substances buying online... Thats my cream...Let's put some pressure on the brands to do that!

Lately I've been searching for a classy, manly scent. This video came exactly at the right time!
Hahaha. This takes me back...way back. I enjoyed wearing Drakkar Noir, Lucky No 6 and to some degree Obsession. Back then Obsession seemed like an old man's perfume. I hope my son doesn't feel this way about BdC or AHSEE in 20 years.

Great video. I picked up Heritage last winter for less than $40 for 100ml...and it became one of my favorites for the cooler months.

Awesome review, and great classics. I've never been into classic Stetson, but I LOVE Stetson Black. Went through 2 or 3 body spray cans in college, and currently have a half drained 50mL of the EDT. Thank you for sharing, and have an amazing day :)

Drakkar Noir was so popular back in the days. Like 1 Million today, teenage boys used to bath in it. That and Axe Musk body spray.
The opening of Eau De Minthé by Diptyque really reminds me of Drakkar Noir.
Guerlain Heritage comes in edt and edp, wonder which was referenced in the vid. They feature new bottle designs and slight reforms affecting depth and performance. The recent changes follow the acquisition by Louis Vuitton.

Yes my Drakkar Noir was reformulated, it’s lacking the oak moss due to IFRA. Back in the day it definitely was beast mode but I have it still as well as a few others with similar DNA.

Au contraire, Carlos...many older fragrances marketed to women back in the day are SO VERY UNISEX today, even a bit more masculine to modern noses. Cabochard, Azuree, Bandit, for example (all three are marvelous).

I have all of the winners but Lucky #6. Fortunate enough to own a vintage bottle of Obsession which is one of the best soapy orange-cinnamon ambers ever made. Incidentally, swap the amber for patchouli and you have something similar to Heritage edt! Minus the civet of course. PS - if you're missing a cap for any of the Guerlain testers, the cap from Jeremy Lin's for him is an exact fit. 😂 Don't ask me how I know. 😛
What year did lucky no 6 come out. When I look online it says 2006. I'm confused.

The beard is on point Stephen! just curious... what oils or lotions do you use to keep it looking so fresh and crisp? If you're going to rock the beard, you might as well come with your own line of beard oils and grooming accessories! I'm being so serious no sarcasm in that! As I have tried to let my beard grow out and it drives me absolutely nuts! Where I was told by a few friends, it's all about the proper beard oil selection!

I wore Drakkar when I was much younger and loved it. When Drakkar Noir was released I gave it a try and really disliked it and I still dislike the current version. Heritage is my favorite of the 10 fragrances in this video.
Drakkar is definitely missing the oakmoss now. It was a key note.
