My son taught himself to play this when he was 12. He first tried to impress me by playing it in cord form. I played the White Lion recording for him. He cried because he had it so wrong. He then went back to his room and taught himself how to play it properly. He was so musically gifted. He taught himself Drifting by Andy McKee. He died 5 years ago at 21. I still have his guitars, but can't play nearly as well as him.
You did a beautiful rendition of this beautiful song. You brought back memories of Jeremy. Keep it up. You're awesome, and very talented!

Gabriella, I've been watching you play for a couple of years now, but my first time to comment. I've played guitar for over 40 years, and I know many others who have as well and I can't say I've ever even seen anyone with the raw talent on guitar that you have. You have such an amazing gift, and I doubt even you are aware of how rare your gift is. I'll say this, only those who have really worked at playing guitar could fully appreciate your phenomenally unique and rare talent. You are simply one in a billion!!! Yes, Billion. Keep it up. We love you!!!!

I feel totally the same way. I've been playing for over 40 years, since 15, even though I stopped for years at a time. I guess to some, I might seem accomplished. But I am nothing compared to this girl. I only wish I could play like this. I wouldn't even know where to start. Words can't even explain how talented she is. And to those haters who disliked the video, you're obviously a pack of losers because if you even knew one-millionth of how difficult what this girl is doing, you would all shit your pants. Sad world we live in.
I completely agree. I'm barely an intermediate, and it's taken me over 10 years to get here. The music is without a doubt intertwined with your soul. Deffinetly rare! I could listen to you play over and over again!

This is one of my favorite songs Of ALL-TIME! Makes me think of my son Jeremy Jr. He passed away in July of 2020 in a car accident, still stings….but hearing this song…..gives me hope….and I know that I will see him again one day….thank you for this wonderful performance…..I love it….and I know that….Vito Bratta would be proud!!!

She smiles when she does these, letting you know she worked those just for this arrangement. And now that she is syncopating the rhythm more (like at the end) it really adds feeling!
