EASILY the best step by step build tutorial on CZcams. Most channels will say that you put this here and do this, but they don’t show where to insert/plug the component(s) on the motherboard and such. Most people clicking on these videos are doing their 1st PC build and needs the detailed steps. Now I gotta order me a dope screen for my PC 😎
To be honest, I have not seen a more detailed video showing how to build a PC including all the links in the description of the video. This video is flawless and perfect. Thank you very much for your effort. I really admire how detailed you show the process and giving a short introduction of the parts that you have used. Superb video!

This video helped me SO many times. This was my first ever build, and I finished it like 2 hours faster than I expected. Thank you for this!
This is the most thorough, comprehensive and easy to follow PC build guide on CZcams. Fantastic work.
Really, really, really useful! Thank you so much for this tutorial with the 500dx. Im ordering similar parts tomorrow, so just want to say that I really appreciate the time you put into this video!
Easily the most complete guide out there
From far !
Mate, I had not build a system for a few years and wanted to get a refresher before I start building. Your video was immensely educational. Very thorough and by far the best one on CZcams that I have come across. All the big channels seem to be interested only in advertising and talking up products so that they can get more things for free. None of them have a proper video of how to build a system that is detailed enough. The small things that they skip are teh biggest impediments and points of frustration for infrequent or new builders. Thank you for covering those points and being so helpful.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback
So thankful for the video, it was so much more thorough than the rest I've seen, with complete explanations of everything I needed. I especially enjoyed the post-build set-up steps. I've been watching and rewatching sections for hours, and I now have my first PC build up and running. Thank you so much!
You're the only one who explained the RGB and USB cables well on the Wraith Prism Cooler, Mad respect!
Literally hours after I finish building a pc using your LianLi PC video you post this! Much love, your content has helped me a ton.

This video is a gem! Thank you so much for taking the time. I was building my first gaming PC and you guided me from A to Z. Infinite thumbs up!
Not planning to build a computer but I like to understand how things work and what I should be looking at when things go wrong. Also this is very eco friendly as it allows for the exchange of individual parts instead of perpetually replacing the whole CPU! Hats off to Chris for sharing his knowledge and skill! Very detailed and easy to understand even for us no tech people.
Thank you for this! Just finished building my first PC - without this guide I would have never managed it :D
Cheers man! Just so happened to be building my first PC with the same mobo and 3700x. This was beyond helpful and PC worked like a dream. SOLID video.
Hey man, Just wanted to say thank you. You helped me build my first pc about 8 months ago. This video was the only one i found on youtube where someone explained everything in great detail. Appreciate it. I have zero problems with my tower and its a beast. Big ups.
Ive watched quiet a lot of pc builds and this must be the best I've watched. The whole content is delivered very well and to the point slowly describing exactly what is going on throughout the build. Very well presented Chistopher. 👍🏻
You just Helped me Build a 1400 dollar Machine! First Try and everything works smoothly. Very good Detail and super informative Video
Cheers!
This is hands down one of the best guides I’ve ever seen. I have my own gaming PC but I seriously enjoyed watching this.
Thank you so much. As a first time builder, and having bought similar and identical parts, you just got me "un-stuck" on so many levels and addressed every remaining question I had prior to diving into my first build. Way Cool!
This guide is easily the most detailed one out there. This deserves more views since it is better than 90% of the other guides
This is genuinely extremely helpful, thank you.
I literally cannot understand how one could dislike this video.
Thanks
Same, they’re fantastic in depth videos.

Wow! As a newbie, this video was my life line. I watched it over and over till I was done my build, and set up. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video! I bought this case and motherboard for my first build just days before finding your guide. It was very thorough and helped me so much!
Absolutely amazing to follow along with, I had similar equipment and everything worked perfectly thanks to you!!
Great to hear!
This video helped me a ton for my first build. Very detailed and easy to follow, thanks for making this video man!
this is by far the most useful tutorial for building a computer on the internet, i can tell because ive watched practically every youtube video there is, none explain and demonstrate better than this, props to you mate and keep up the great work
That was the most complete and detailed PC build review I have ever seen. Great job mate . If someone is not able to build a pc after watching this then God help them. Kudos to your great work mate 👍
Woah such a beautiful in depth video. Thank you for this🤗✨
Oh wow. I was humbly searching for "case cable management" and here is your video with pretty much the exact build I'm in the middle of :-)
Perfectly put together, cheers !
Same for me. Thx a million for explaining the different RGB pins and fan pin settings
I love this video. I'm going to be doing my first build in the next month or so. Using very similar parts to ensure I follow the same steps as Christopher. Excellent Video.
An outstanding video: calm, quiet, informative, demonstrative. Without a doubt the best PC building learning video I have seen on CZcams.
It's incredible how (clearly and casually) you explain every detail. Very informative and not overwhelming at all. I wish I knew about your channel years ago.
Wow, thank you!
@@ChristopherFlannigan Really like the channel! Any chance at some stage you could do a build guide on a full size ATX gaming PC for those such as myself on a really low budget but would like to upgrade eventually over time to high end performance? This would be really helpful. Thanks, Pete
Thanks dude! Literally building almost this exact pc soon
I built my first PC with this case, and this video was an amazing help to me. Thank you so much!
Best explanation of how to put gaming PC together. Followed your instructions and assembled gaming PC with my Grandson today. Clear and detailed instructions. Worked first time. Thanks.
This is a very helpful video. I appreciate your direct and informative delivery. Thank you, Christopher.
Thank you for making this video!! I’m planning on building my own pc soon and I’ll definitely be coming back to this video when I start making it!

Literally followed along since I was using almost exact same parts. Thanks !!!
Just finished my computer in large part thanks to you. You've been a lot of help through all this especially with having the same motherboard. Thank you so much.
Great video, I like how he doesn't speedrun through it, just how a tutorial should be. Keep up the great work 👍
The best video ive seen so far helped me alot with my pc built
I know it has been a long time since release time, but undoubtedly it was the best tutorial I've ever seen.
Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial.
Hey man, just wanted to thank you for this guide. Finally built my first PC and it's pretty good! Your guide seriously helped with certain parts of the overall installation.
Having bought precisely this case, this video is going to be very helpful on my first build! Thanks!

Thank you for this! This will help me get started. We almost have the same components except for the GPU and CPU Cooler.
Good luck!
Similar spec to what I’ve been eyeballing down to the case! Planning my first build and this is the most useful yet. I’ll need that calming voice and accent as I stress my way through it. You’ve got me thinking I can do it! Subscribed and look forward to new and your old content as I just found the channel - cheers!
best comprehensive guide out there! thanks for explaining the cables so well and i finally fully understand where and how they are connected!!
You're brilliant. I cannot thank you enough for this it has helped me immensely.
You're very welcome!
Great video, very thoughtful and detailed. Thank you for the time you put into this!! I came here to see how working with the b550 tomahawk is since I'll be doing a build with it this weekend and I found this very informative 👌 🙌
Thanks and enjoy your build
I would like to warmly thank you for putting that very detailed and amazingly done video. I followed it carefully and I have been able to successfully assemble my first PC build without any trouble. You were with me during all the process. Thank you so much!
Just wanted to say thanks! I never built a PC before today and had already received all my parts. I searched from some videos and found a couple but yours was the most helpful. After the build was finished I learned way more about my PC than I would have ever expected. You explain things very clearly that it allowed me to disassemble my build with ease. My PC did not want to turn on but it's most likely a faulty mobo, cpu or psu. Either way, I learned quite a lot from watching this video, so thanks!
This video is absolutely amazing. I can't thank you enough. I built my first ever PC in a Pure Base 500DX and this guide covered absolutely everything with all the necessary details. My computer started up first time and works perfectly. Thank you again Christopher, for all your hard work in putting this video together.

Thanks god i've found your video before building my first PC. You helped me a lot, especially with the Dark Rock Pro 4. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the detailed explanations.
My son and I just finished our first build using the Tomahawk B550. Your guidance throughout was calming and absolutely vital. Thanks Chris. Great job.
I've seen a lot of "pc build step by step" videos, but none of the videos are nearly as detailed as this one. Really great video!
1:20:33 scared the hell out of me. Best guide on CZcams by far btw!
omg same
Why that noise😂
Not just a great standard build guide, but also with some tricks and stuff & fluff that's good to know. Perfect video, thank you.
This video answered so many questions that cropped up once I started building despite having watched many other videos geared toward beginner's builds. I wish I'd watched it first. Great job!
Cheers, Christopher!
Exactly what I needed. My last PC built was in 1995 and I remember that in spite of a very tight budget, going for the 'big one' - a quite expensive HDD with a whopping 340MB !!!😳
And I think I also went for a full 8MB of RAM.😂
I also recall that overclocking was something one spoke of very quietly in an underground garage in the suburbs at 1am. It had something to do with reading out the BIOS-code and making changes to it just to find out that you made a tiny mistake and blew your CPU and Mainboard.
Things have changed a bit, so I really appreciate all the effort you put into this guide. I think it really is perfect for old dummies like me. Parts will be arriving from tomorrow.😊
... and you - with this channel.🙂
@@ChristopherFlannigan ...and she's finished and running nicely now. Basically the machine from your Pure Base 500DX case review video, but as an Intel version and with not quite as fancy fans.😉🙂
All went well without a hitch.
Many thanks again.
Definitely owe the success of my first pc build to you! Thanks for making this rare, incredibly in depth video. I would have been lost for a bit without it.

Best hassle-free install of the Dark Rock Pro 4 I've ever seen - and I have watched a lot of them. Beautiful build and fantastic content! I would love to do a similar Be Quiet build but unfortunately Be Quiet parts are not sold in my country and it is too expensive to import. Can you please do an install and setup guide for an Intel system, say Z490, as I find the installation process associated with the Intel Chipset driver, the Intel Management Engine, the Intel Rapid Storage driver, etc. to be more cumbersome and confusing than AMD.
Amazing guide, so very thorough and great for those either completely new to the build process or for those who have had experience and just new a quick reminder. I used this when building mine this week, so thank you!
Have to say, I had a pain of a time getting those clips on the wraith prism cooler onto the motherboard. Far more pressure than I wanted with that one.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I used this video to WALK ME THROUGH my first build EVER yesterday. Same case -- you gave me so much confidence working on this case. SUBSCRIBED/LIKED !
the most simple, extensive and no frills pc build guide i have seen. great work. 👍even big guyz like Linus tech and jayz dont explain the minute details. nice
Much appreciated!
Exactly this helps so much, you have the best videos on CZcams for building PC’s honestly.
@@oscillatefn8303 Thanks 😊
Christopher Flannigan I’m building mine right now 😁 The one issue I have is with my nzxt psu which has its cables sleeved and they are really stiff at the end so I can’t move them and they look really odd because they are just sticking out in front of the motherboard 😔
Such a well made, thorough guide. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Building in this case currently, 3 years on and this video is still helping folks out
Thanks!
This video was so incredibly helpful. I got a set of relatively similar components for Christmas, and this video was invaluable in answering so many of my "small questions" about putting it all together. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
Clear, concise and very informative. As a beginner to pc building, you have made my life significantly easier. Kudos to you sir 👍🏼
Thanks for this vid, i‘m gonna build my first custom pc soon with my dad

Building my first pc with the same Motherboard and CPU this weekend.
This video is the best iv’e seen on youtube regarding building.
Calm, collected, and thurough.
Thank you so much!
I really appreciate you man, I just builded my first pc and this was the most helpful video I found, Thank you so much.
Hey Christopher I want thank you for posting this guide. It helped me out tremendously. Thank you very much. I wish your channel grows. Keep it up
Just bought this case. Now I'm scared that my standard PSU cables might be too short for cable management. Did you find you needed the extensions? Or do you think standard PSU cables should be ok?
I've only one question Christopher: do I have to screw with confidence?
Extremely useful stuff. Thank you. I built my own PC like thirty something years ago. Now everything has changed. :)
The best most comprehensive pc build walk-through on CZcams.💯
I have a question, I have the same case, as you know by now I think. Did you install the Noctua cooler in your other video before installing mobo into the case, or did you install it with the mobo inside the case? Is it easy to install inside the case? I'm thinking to just put the AM4 mounting system on the mobo, get the motherboard in, wire everything up and THEN install the heatsink and cooler fans, as getting to the CPU power connector is gonna be a pain, or the standoffs for that matter. Or is it? Can you enlighten me on which is the best way to go about this? Thanks again.
@@ChristopherFlannigan Yes, that's what I was planning to do. Thanks!
"It is quite stiff, so it does need a good pull" ;)
no.
@@Dag_boredaf08 yes.
I just finish building my gaming pc with this guide. Thanks a lot.
1:20:34 damn near thought the opps shot my boy mid video 🤣
ayo chill 😂
WARNING - At 1:20:33 suddenly there is REALLY loud music.
Half the time it is very hard to understand certain words he says.
His talking volume has been edited too low. I have the vol on max on my macbook in a very quiet room and I can just about hear him when he speaks quieter (he changes the volume at which he speaks too much as well; and I mean the biologically controlled volume). There is no music at all in the video. So this made for a scare when there was really loud music all of a sudden as I had it set to max to be able to hear him.
And you forgot to mention, other than that, everything was great!
Great video Christopher I almost have all my parts just piecing it together.can’t wait to finish it. Thank you very much for your videos. They taught me a lot from scratch. Greg USA
Superb tutorial that must have taken a lot of time to put together, thank you so much!

Awesome tutorial. I have watched most of the build guides and just stumbled upon yours and I must say, this is a very good guide video.
Your guide worked, thank you so much Chris and I look forwad to watching this channel grow to 1mil!
This is a really great video. You're not full of yourself, but obviously know your stuff. You speak very clearly, & no annoying music. WELL DONE!!!
This is a very in-depth explanation of building the PC, really helpful! Especially with the post-build set up with the drivers, etc. Thanks!
Thank you. You're the one who helped me the most. I build mine last year of november and while waiting for the parts at that time your video was very helpful to me getting the idea and guide how to build it.
Hands down the most informative, constructive, well thought out build video I have come across.
Thanks so for this build video Chris. Just the way you explain it all, being so thorough with each of the components and peripherals, it really gives noobs like me the courage to go on and build my very first rig. Easily one most comprehensive Step-by-Step guides to PC Building for any beginner out there as mentioned before. Cheers Mate!
Thank you so much for this video man, PC build went really well!
Amazing video, came here when searching for ports on the B550 tomahawk, ended up watching the entire video from start to finish while building!
Probably the best build guide I have seen. Inspired me to order cable mods for my new build. Thank you!
