Someone has described these P 2000's Launches as useless , and no Armament .
No. I don't believe that's accurate . The MOD have them here in Gib.
In British Gibraltar we have at the moment : P2000's - Archer Class : HMS Dasher and HMS Pursuer . They Patrol British Gibraltar Territorial Water's from the "Spanish illegal incursions on a daily basis ."
These to launches have for purpose 1xOerlikon 20mm Cannon on fo'ste ( "for but not with")
    3 x General Purpose Machine Guns (N2).
Please if you would like to know a bit more go to these video's and listen and watch the sailors aboard these launches, in the video's here below .

Nicely said Joseph Lezano and before these we had two other P2000s Trumpeter and Ranger. Previous to that we had Cormorant and Hart P256 and P257under Royal Navy flag which were ex Royal Air Force Rescue and Target Towing Launches MK3 which were named Sunderland 4001 Stirling 4002 and prior to these we had older Target and rescue launches MK1 2554,2595
Mk1B 2753 2754 2759 and 63ft general service Pinnace Mk1 1388 and Mk2 1391. I know their were many others but cannot recall them all. During the war and post war the Royal navy had fast patrol boats stationed here Fairmile's HDML and MTBs.
